When I tried to update Premiere Elements I get the following error:"You'll need a new app to open this auphd"Where do I find this App to open an 'auphd' file, wherever/whatever this is??  Screen capture attached. Running on Windows 10 with PE 2020 Ver. 18.0 (20190827.daily.1947210) Thanks

i have a new issue on editing mode on my prepiere elements 2019...it looks like the timing of audio with video goes out completely and than makes it difficult to edit, but when i export the video it seems to be ok. Do i have to reinstall the software or is there a update i don't know about?thank you

Hi there. I wanted to ask if there is a possibillity to buy or download Plugins for Elements.I looked around but i have found nothing for Elements. What about the Version 2020 ? Did they have done some Updates ? If i want to make a Bleeding i got to put the Second Video into the first and modify it. Some Jears ago i hat a 32 Bit Version of Premiere, but this Version was old. But i only needed 3 Clips. I only set the first Video into the First Clip, and the Bleeding into the second. In the Third i had the Second Clips. It worked pretty well, but now there is not anymore the Possibillity. If i render a Pickture with 1024 * 768 and want to import it in Elements i got only some Sizes. Is it possible to render the Original 1024 * 768, or do i have to use a different Size ?

In PAL DV AVI files imported from 8 mm tape videos with Sony video camcorder the file metadata says that the pixels are 720x576. Actually they are 768x576, and so the aspect ratio is correct, 4:3. When imported in a Premiere Elements project, they are, however 788x576. And when the edited file is exported in PAL DV mode they remain the same. So every video is 20 pixels too wide. If I export in HD mode the exported file is 1280x720 as it should, but the video content width in the frame is 984 pixels, not 960 as it should be. So the actual content is 24 pixels too wide. I read about the Interpretation Rules.txt file that PE should use in determining the width of the file, and changed it, but it had no effect. So when I use PE in editing, I need to shrink the exported PAL SD video with another application to 768x576. And I cannot export HD videos at all. Is there a way in PE to overcome these problems?

I have a license for adobe premiere elements 15.I signed out on my old PC (Windows 7) and installed it on my new PC (Windows 10).You will be prompted to sign in each time you launch the software.Even if I sign in, when I check from the "help", it is still in a non-signed-in state.How should I deal with it?Thank you.

I have the same issue on a PC.  It is a 22 Core top of the line system with striped SSD's and when I do a quick export or even try to render in the editor it does't work.  This is a Windows 10 system with latest MS updates and Graphics drivers.  I knew I shouldn't have gone back to Adobe since I am not a MAC user.  $$$ down the drain.   Title edited by Mod

I have an old version of APE on my computer and want to edit some videos.  Can I work with iPhone 7 videos.  Error indicates Codec is missing.  Can I upload and install?

I clicked on the App on my desktop and was given this message. Tried doing a "compatability run" but to no avial. Bought this is 2015, and last worked on it in April 2020. Called customer support, they sent me here.  HELP!

I though I bought the program ourwright a few years back, but now it is saying I am forced to start a free trial and buy the program at the end of the trial. Anyone have this experience?

I am at a loss for words. I have been working on this project for nearly 6 weeks now and I haven't been able to get proper sleep for the entire time. The rendering time for this project took nearly a week and this was the recent exporting percentage versus the estimated time left til completion. I don't know what to do anymore and it seems like there is no support for Premiere Elements 2018 within the online chat. My job is on the line despite the majority of this being completely outside of my control!

I have a mixture of 2K and 4K (at 60 F/S) GoPro Hero 7 videos taken this winter. Now that I have time to edit with the Corona Quarantine I am finding I can edit the 2K videos but not the 4K in Premiere Elements. I get the following pop up for 4K: "Your system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HIEF type of media. Click on learn more to know how to enable these formats for import." https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/hevc-decoding-on-windows.html On Clicking it brings me to the Microsoft store to buy a $.99 extension. I know GoPro uses HEVC so I buy that one. The Adobe directions say "Clean the Media Cache by deleting the files present at the location: %appdata%\Adobe\Common" But I cant find that directory after searching "%appdata%" for all drives.I've got all the Hardware for 4K, the monitor, the i7 and Nvidia card... editing should be the easy part. Not even GoPro has the software for desktop 4K editing, I was hoping Adobe could solve the problem

Adobe Team & Community, I'm having challenges uploading MOV files to Elements 2019 using Windows 10 on my Dell computer.  I've researched this and discovered two options - adding codec or converting Mov files to Mp4 with a converter. I found a paid conversion program but is that the harder/more difficult path? Can someone please advise how and which codec to add so the MOV files will work without an Mp4 conversion?   I am decently tech savy but appreciate a cliff note/adobe for dummies reply here as all I've read on other post hasn't helped me figure this out yet. Thank you!

In premiere elements, how do I get rid of the standard Font Style list. It looks like it comes from the Seventies and I just want a small list. Every time I delete them, they just come back!!!! 

How do I set default settings to delete empty tracks? (So I don't have to delete empty tracks every time to make it more customizable with less work?) Thanks

Sorry for posting about an old version, but: Did Adobe remove a bunch of effects from Premiere Elements at some point? This version has very few worthwhile effects and no blue/green screen capability as previous versions did. Thanks.

I just used the trial version of elements 2018. I made a video. Now I just bought the actual program. Will my video still be there when I use the actual full program? I dont wanna loose it. Idk if using the link to install elements will over write? Thanks peeps

I presently (COVID19-days) have the job of creating DVDs of my Church Online Service for our vulnerable and isolated (and offline) members.  As part of this I need a simple DVD menu with my own fullscreen image as background and a couple of simple buttons but I can find no way to achieve this.  The pre-supplied templates are universally inappropriate and useless for this task overlaying my image with fish, cartoon biffs or weird flowers.  The nearest is the terminally dull 'General/Faux Widescreen' and that mucks up your image. So the question is how do I produce my own template or find a simple one?  I'm astonished that there isn't an 'Empty' menu that just needs a fullscreen image and adds basic rectangular buttons for this purpose.  Did I miss something?
