Premiere Elements

I am working with Premiere Elements 12.1 on an iMac running High Sierra 10.13. I read a support article that implies you can have multiple main menus, but I can't figure out how to get it to work.  I would like to make a DVD of a four day trip to Disney.  I would like my main menu to have the four days displayed, then choosing a day would bring up a scene menu for that day.  Each day would have 4-6 scene markers to various activities for that day.   The goal is to allow someone who wanted to jump to a scene on day 4 for example from not having to go through a number of "next" menus to get to the one scene desired.   I also would like the ability from the main menu to just do a play all and have it run through all 4 days.  (It's a 2 hour movie.)  The article I read implied that you could have multiple main menus, but it sounded like you couldn't play through the entire DVD if you did.  It wasn't very clear on that. Any help wou

I have Premiere Elements 12.1 running on an iMac running High Sierra 13. I am able to track an object using the Motion Tracking Tool.  On the Track Object screen, it says "...you can use the motion to attach graphics or text to it."  After defining and setting the object, the Track Object screen then says "Attach a graphic or text from the action bar below."The only highlighted option in the action bar is Graphics.   I don't see an option under Graphics to just put text.  I see options to put text into a graphic, but I simply wanted to assign a name to my tracked object but I don't see how to do that.Am I missing something obvious here?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks. Rick

I am new to Premier Elements video using 2020 version.  I have created a number of videos and have added sound tracks.  The are saved with the extension .PRV  How do I combine them?  I have tried importing them - won't work says error.  Tried adding the videos as media and it shows about 5 rendered clips with no attached Audio.  Each created video play perfect alone.   I'm super frustrated.  Thanks for any help you can give.   [To find a forum for your program please start at https://community.adobe.com/][Moving from generic Start/Help forum to the specific Program forum... Hello everyone,I'm working on a small project where I used the shake reduction feature on a few clips. I was able to export the project once but now every time since, it gives this error:The clips themselves don't claim to be working on shake reduction and I can preview the entire project with out the blue line that says "shake reduction in progress".I've tried about everything I can think of including deleting the shake reduction from every clip in the project but it still gives this same error. I've closed and reopened the project. Checked project settings. Waited a couple hours with the project open. Even restarted my computer. Is there anyone that has the same problem and got it figured it out? Or anyone that thinks they know what my problem is?Thanks in advance,Wes

Extremely slow rendering for media files. Just trying to simply render video file after slowing it down 25%, file format is MP4, see attached picture for further file details. I highly doubt it is a hardware issue either (Asus ROG Zephyrus  GX701GXR.306). Also further note I tried slowing down the video in Video Editor, (Microsoft preinstalled application) and it had no problem rendering and slowing down the 5 second clip almost instaniously.

I am currently running Adobe Elements 14. I wish to upgrade to elements 2020, but I am reluctant to do this, if, when running premier, I will still continue to receive the notice 'detected incompatable driver.  This results in totally freezing my computer meaning a restart, after which the program starts with no bother. An upgrade will cost me £100 or so, an absolute waste for a dubious program! Cannot someone from Adobe fix this problem? I doubt that it is to do with the Graphics cards as some Adobe technicians suggest, because people with other cards than mine a experiencing the same problem. I live in hope that this problem willbe resolved soon.Regards Vic.

How do i start a new job so that it can be in 16: 9 format.I work in the PAL format. When I start a new job it will not be in 16: 9 format. There is something missing from org. the movie on the left and right side and only 4: 3 format is displayed even though I have set my new job to FULL HD 1080i 25 Niels Lauritsen, DK

Hey everybody, I'm wondering if theres a way to save an animated text layer that I created. Its something that I'd like to be able to use in multiple projects so instead of having to recreate it every time I start somthing new I was hoping there was a way I could save or import it from the project I created it in.Thanks

I have just installed elements 12 today on a windows 10 laptop, edited a couple of videos. Installed updates and uploaded video to Youtube. So I go back later on because my friend wants a file for her computer. The video and files are all missing. Says that the codex for them is missing. I think the data is there but they will not load on the editor. Any ideas?

When I download my photos into the Adobe Premiere Elements 15 program, some of them are distorted as the video plays.  How can this be corrected?  They are all jpeg files and all are a high resolution.  What gives?

I recently purchased Photoshop/Premiere Elements and did was able to produce one video perfectly. The last three times when I try to publish in any form, I get audio but no video. I am using an iphone 7 and Windows 10. It plays perfectly in Elements but not when I save or try to publish directly to YouTube. Thanks,Chuck

I finished my work and realized the final is marked by "created with the free version". So I bought the product because I enjoyed using it. Otherwise it still apply me "created with the free version" on my old project. Could you help to figure it out? Regards

If there is a way to insert a traditional time code into my clip/video in my using PSE 2020 I have not been able to find one. Aparently pro has the feature but not elements . Any one have a suggestion?  Thanks in advance

Hi,Adobe Elements 17.0 (20180830.daily.1636760).Recently, an import is with bad color :Correction with Gamma = 9, Light (just below Gamma correction in the right side) = automatique, make video OK nearly exactly as small pictures.With these correction, export .mp4 is OK since I verify with VLC, but if I import that one then the color is always bad, as the original, as shown under "LOAD".How to get correct import as usual (as I never modify anything in parameters !) ?Regards

Bought A Prem. Elements 2020. Supposedly compatible with my system.It's crashes every single time I attempt to export video. Message "Error. Adobe Premiere Elements is unable to save data...Please ensure you have adequate folder permissions and restart the application."What? I wasted three days trying to triangulate what the hell that even means. I want a refund because this program is completely unusable.

Upgraded from Free Trial to paid version, and apparently the thanks I get is my project trashed. 10 video tracks painstakingly aligned to a music track. After the upgrade, all video assets were randomly repositioned in the timeline by an average of 15-30 seconds, making the video now useless. Is there a way to undo this feature? Hi everyone.I have an audio preset that includes three effects.  I am trying to add another effect to the preset, but I cannot figure out how to do that?  I cannot find any documentation anywhere that says how to do it, and I cannot find any videos online that say how to do it.  Is it even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello all,  I just purchased the 2020 Premeier Elements Upgrade (I have a 2016 version on my macbook pro) and it will not install.  It gets hung up at 3% and just sits there.  I have a 2018 Machbook Pro running OS 10.14.6.Any help?

Hi there I have been using the above for many years now and have a single catalogue. The issue is that the cataloge now is enormous and I am struggloing to back it up (it runs for hours and hours). Is it possible to split the catalogue into multiple (but still accessible) catalogues?
