Premiere Elements

Got Elements a month ago, had NO issues at all adding and editing the 4k files. Recently imported a batch of about 40 videos and 3 of them gave me this error. Unable to Import MediaYour system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media. Click on 'Learn More' to know how to enable these formats for import. I followed the instructions and updated the codec, the $.99 one for microsoft. Uninstalled the other HEVC codec as instructed. Deleted the Media common files as instructed. Now no 4k files work. Went back to my original HEVC codec that worked prior, but still can't edit, or see any videos with Premier Elements. Video playback works fine in other applications such as Windows Media Player, GoPro Quik. I've tried updating everything, Windows, Video Card driver, uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Elements, Updating PR 2020, and nothing seems to work. Hello allHas anyone had any success setting up the Microsoft's Surface Dial in Premiere Elements 2019?  I believe I have configured correctly to step forward, back and snip as per below images.I have configured other keyboard shortcuts in other applications work that work fine.Any help much appreciated.

I changed my password for google. Being old enough to remember youtube and google not sharing a password, I then tried to upload through adobe premiere to youtube, forgetting that the password was changed. Can you crop your picture on all four sides like you can in Premiere Pro? I need to trim off the black sides and the shakey bottom of my VHS transfer. Premiere Pro effects has this ability to crop off what you need to and the hit "zoom" to refill the cropped space with picture. I can't find this feature inElements. Is it there and just called something else? 

All of a sudden it seems my videos are uploading very slowly. My 32kb video is taking 2 hours to upload to youtube or to export to my drive. I have updated my drivers. Anything else I can do to speed it up? 

Hi Everyone!I'm in desparate need for help: I'm just trying to build up a new (though 2nd Hand) working station running Win10Pro with special need for PE. Installation worked fine, and the software itself works - I'm able to edit, but every time I try to export a Video - no matter which format - PE14 completely freezes my PC - which can then only be "unfrozen" by a total shutdown.I even removed and de-installed my nVidia Geforce GT630 (since it was one of the old ones using FERMI), de-installed Neat Video (which I desperately need...) and made a fresh installation of PE14 including the update to 14.1, but still the error occurs.I've checked my HDDs and system stability countless times by now - everything else seems to work fine (No wonder, it just got installed a few Days ago).Anybody here having similar problems - or even better: A solution?Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 18363) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202)Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor (6 CPUs)

Hello! I need to move my project from Elements on Windows to Pro on a Mac. It won't let me open the project on mac becuase it says it does not have the program to run it (elements, which is true, it only has pro). Thanks!  

Hello! I am making a video as homework for my history project. Once I had finished it, I rendered it (obviously) and then tried to test it with Movies and TV (the program), windows media player and others. For all of them, nothing turns up. I need to email it to my teacher by Thursday (next week) and he does not have premiere elements to view it. Am I making a stupid error? Is the situation really hard to solve? Either way, I need to get this project to him as fast as possible. pls help!

I have 16mm film converted to digital and compiling /editing in Adobe Premiere Elements 11. During the composing/editing process, some frames become fragmented with strong horizontal 'venetian blind' banding of the image subject in motion (skier on slope). The digital file converted to M2T does not show the 'banding' problem, but it occures in the final rendered video. Attached screen shots illustrate the problem.Any input as to what is causing this will be most appreciated.Jerry G 

A recurring question but in the year 2020 context. I use Premier Elements 14.1 on my desktop PC & it works fine for what I need.However, the PC runs Windows 7 & thus I'm considering re-installing with Windows 10.Before doing that I need to ensure I am able to reinstall the applicantions I need and this includes PE14. I have seen posts from a couple of years ago where Steve gave a link to download older versions but Adobe seem to have changed the linked-to page.  My Adobe account shows PE14 being licensed to me.I don't have PE14 on DVD - I originally purchased PE13 on DVD & Adobe gave me an upgrade to PE14 after I proved to them that PE13 did not burn BluRays with content >1GB (which isn't much) and the PE14 trial did.  Thus I must have downloaded PE14 back then but I have not been able to find it on any of my backup discs (any idea what the name of the downloaded file would be?). (It would be possble to buy the current version but I tend to put t

I am about to build a new computer to use my ALR(CC), APS(CC) and Premiere Elements on.  I will be transferring my current SSD (which is my current "C" drive) and HDDs (data storage only) to the new build, but EVERYTHING else will be new, i.e. motherboard, CPU, memory, etc.  I am using Windows 10 Home in 64bit mode.  Is there something I should do ahead of time to make sure that all my Adobe software will still work, connect, update, etc. after the change?  Also, is there anything I need to be aware of and need to do after I boot up the new build?THANKS in advance for all help on this.  I want to be a good boy scout and be prepared.  😉

Sorry about revisiting the topic but I browsed the NVidia website and read the article "What is CUDA" which provides the background to GPU.Given that Premiere Elements doesn't support graphics acceleration do I really need an NVidia graphics card. Which other brands of card do Premiere users install.Does this also apply to Photoshop?

I have many DVDs  that I created a while ago. They are a combination of video and music. It was all before HD and Ultra HD era. I would like to edit contents of those DVDs in Premiere Elements 15 (the one I currently use for my projects) and output each enchanced video as an ISO file to later burn it to a BluRay disc.Is it feasible?Thanks. I bought a key for Adobe Premiere Elements, but I can't activate my product. I bought the key from a "reseller" for charities. I downloaded the product from Adobe. I made an account(not this account). Pasted my key on https://account.adobe.com/productsI got a message the key was already used. The weird thing is. The product with key is listed on https://account.adobe.com/products as if I activated the product. Everytime I start Adobe Premiere Elements I got the trial message. I'm logged in. I have already logged out and logged back in. That didn't help  

I have worked with premiere elements 2014 on a Windows 8 PC I now installed premiere elements 2020 on a 6 months old Windows 10 PCI frequently use the music that is downloadeble in premiere elements.The sound tracks are completely mixed up as you can hear in the example file in this linkhttps://adobe.ly/2uO1iauI never had that problem in the old version of premiere elements. Tanks for you advice 

When I try to save a project to ISO image the status is Invalid Location and I cannot save it because the relevant keys are greyed out. I tried many different locations where to save the ISO image but to no avail. Can you help please?

I am using Premier elements 2018 and as I export my videos and upload on youtube I always get black bars all around. I have tried to export it in Quick export, Devices, Online I get the same result.  I have looked everywhere for the answer but no luck. I am using video clips from youtube and re-editing them and I have this issue. Can someone help......Thank you in advance!

I updated to Premiere 2020 and it was working fine but suddently it stopped exporting. The export windows opens but it won't start exporting. When I try Encoder, something similar happens. It takes a long time to open it and then it won't start exporting. The project plays fine and I can even render it, but it just doesn't export it. I work as a freelance editor and I need a solution ASAP to deliver this project. Anyone with a similar issue? To start, I am using Premiere Elements 2018 with Windows 10.I am a newbie and just learning how to use this program. Playing around with text boxes in the timeline, I am experiencing an issue with clips rendering as I hit the enter button. Specifically, when I forget to use the "wrap" option on the text (and even sometimes when I could swear that I used the wrap option), hitting enter to wrap text renders the clip before I've finished it. Once a clip is rendered it cannot be edited anymore, correct? It seems in the keyboard customization I have no way of disengaging the enter button so I do not render prematurely. Is throwing out those clips and starting over my ONLY option? Thanks to all who answer!

Premiere Elements 2020 continues to freeze up.  I can even walk away from the computer and return in an hour and it is still frozen.  I have had to reboot my machine three times on this one project in order to unfreeze it and every time I loose what I have done. When it is working it is very very slow to respond most of the time. I have wasted hours today trying to get one simple video done. Help! 

I have almost completed my project and yesterday everything was working fine.  Now when I come to the final editing the Soundtrack and Audio 1 lines are not working.  The imput shows on the lines and the Narrative is working.  What's going on?

HiI currently run iMovie 9 - I have not moved to the new iMovie version and instead want to move to Premier Elements I have over a thousand unedited movie clips that have been imported into iMovie - saved within a file structure under the folder "iMovie Events". These are the raw files that have been imported from my camera to imovie on the Mac. Is there a way to import these unedited "events" / "clips" into Premier Elements so I can build my movies from them in PE? Here is what the event clips look lie within the Finder file structure on the mac within iMovie..  

Hi everyone.  Looking at possibly upgrading my rarely used PE 13 to 2020 and trying to confirm if it supports the H.265 HEVC encoded videos from iOS devices?  Looks like it might require a codec (which may or may not work?) from MS for 99 cents which is fine.  Just don't want to drop the $79 upgrade money if it's going to fail.  I kinda wanted to stick with PE since I sort of knew it........though I haven't really seriously used any video editing since the PE4 days but I do regularly use Lightroom CC so I'm at least familiar with Adobe vs other products.  I had checked out a free version of a big competitor to the full Premiere CC but quickly realized it didn't support H.265 at least unless you pay for the $300 full version and even then it's apparently not great performance due to H.265 being an export format vs. a commonly used source format apparently.  Of course with iOS devices I don't have a choice there.  I can choose H.264 but that limits

Parce que mon internet en region est de 0.8 Mbd/s je me suis procuré "premiere éléments 2020" (car un abonnement en ligne est pathétique pour moi). Une fois installer, je réalise qu'il n'est pas compatible avec "photoshop élément 2019".En Janvier 2020 un technicien d'adobe me contacte et après plusieurs manipulation m'installe  un icone pour acceder a la page de demarrage de premiere éléments 2020 et que je puisse acceder à l'icone éditeur de vidéo afin de démarré le programme et un icone de photoshop éléments 2019 pour que je puisse acceder à l'icone de éditeur de photo et démarré le programme. Bref beaucoup de manipulation pour un résultat quelque peu médiocre.Mais voilà la beauté de tout ce travail, c'est que les deux programmes ne communique pas, je dois sauvegarder puis réouvrir dans l'autre programme. Et pour rajouter à ca, l'un des programme refuse de démarrer de temps à autres.Malgré tout je garde le sourire et regarde les belles images fixe sur ma page de démarrage en esp
