I have Elements4 and Photoshop elements 6. I'm trying to download onto a new computer. They both loaded fine but the program is asking me to register again. But now the serial numbers I have say that they are already registered and will not let me use the program.
I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 from a few days and noticed che copy command of a transition over other clips does not work. I followed the instructions I found in the official site, but no result occurs. In this way, the solution is to put the transition on every single clip, but is too expensive in time. Anyone has a workaound to adopt? thanks in advance.
Is it possible to import a projet buid with Premiere 11 into premiere 2020 ? Apparently my import got stuck. Thanks in advance.
Dear Adobe Community, I'm having an extremely frustrating experience, and I could really, really use some help. I relentlessly worked on a new project an entire night and Adobe has all the editing functions I required which would have left me extremely happy with the new experience--except one. How in heaven's name do I set a maximum video length on the timeline?!? I figured it would be these two "keystones", which I've also seen in the various tutorial videos, but for some reason Adobe Elements seems damned intent on ignoring them. It keeps wanting to export a 45 minute video for a 90 second clip and there are no clips drifting around on the back-end of the timeline! It's ludicrous. It's incredulous. It makes me want to throw something at a wall, that this issue should be so perplexing to a new user...I'm sure it's something simple but I eagerly await a response. Sincerely, Blitzburns4
I've just installed Premiere Elements 2020, and I can't figure out how to edit the Text Animations Durations (start and stop timing). Initially, I found the motion titles (specifically some Typography slides). For example, one might have 3 textboxes that sweep in one after the other (not all at once), but they sweep in too fast for my needs. I'd like to slow them down or change their timing somehow. I've sliced these animations and moved them to where I need them, and then time-stretched the gaps, but now they animations are choppy (not hight enough frame rate for how much I stretched them). Also, slicing these titles prevents the editing of the text. I've now switched to a normal/basic text box and added an animation to it, but I'm still unable to find how to control the animations timing/durations. I'm not sure if this is just an oversite or a lack of functionally in the elements software.
Merci
When importing an AVI video I get both a video and audio track. But when I play it in Elements I get no sound. The audio track also looks strange, just a lot of vertical thin lines. The video plays fine, with audio, in all other programs. I am also very sure that I used the same AVI file in PE 2019 earlier. Here is what the file properties says:
I have Premiere Elements 19 and have tried the published fix where a new layout file is downloaded and replaces the previous layouts. I followed these instructions accurately, tried it twice, and the controls are still blocked by the bottom menu bar. I'm on a windows laptop. Can you please help me determine if there is a fix that works? It is very cumbersome to work on a laptop-sized screen. It appears, from all the threads I've read, that this problem has been going on for years. If the Adobe-published fix doesn't work, why can't they provide a true fix. Seems silly.
Edit: I profusely apologize that this posted to Photoshop Elements community page instead of Premiere Elements. I could have sworn that I was in the Premiere community page because I had been surfing around there for a solution...I tried to delete/edit this post but cannot seem to move the message. This is most perplexing! But I reposted this message over there. https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-elements/premiere-project-issue-setting-maximum-video-length-is-not-obvious/m-p/10881649 (SOLUTION FOUND!!) Is there some sort of permission which must be given to allow Elements to upload to our YouTube channel? When we try, we receive a message that permissions or autorization must be granted but when we click the link to attempt that, it is a dead link (?) I'm wondering if it has to do with our computer user account email being different from the one associated with our YouTube channel (?) (I'm grasping at straws here . . .)
iPhone hevc video files automatically converted to .mov before import. Any suggestions?
Hi guys,I'm new to the forum (and the PE Elements 15) so forgive me if I am asking a silly question! The program defaults to opening in an NTSC preset, this is a problem for me as I work in the UK and we use PAL.I would like to change the default to a PAL preset but I can't figure out how to do it. I'm sure it's something really simple but I just cant find the option. My current work around is to open a pre-made project with my preferred preset, which works fine, but I'd like to be able to open the program in the PAL preset instead of having to open the program, then open a project. Thanks in advance!
I have created a video in Premiere Elements 4 and tried downloading it to my computer to view on my computer and it gave me a message saying that I have to go to a website and get a code. The problem is that the web page no longer exists. I need to know how to get the code so I can download the video. This is crazy since I own the program and should be able to make and download whatever I want. Here is an image of the message:
Good evening everyone, In PrE 2019, Im trying to edit parts of a video found on Youtube. Before going further in the project, I noticed that the render line remains yellow all along the video track, suggesting the project settings don't match the imported video.Despite applying different settings to the project, nothing seems to work, I even tried several NTSC settings, since the video was shot in the US, but nothing seems to fit that video format. The goal is to re-upload that project with a dubbed audio track, any idea which settings could be used ?Here are the specs : Thanks !
Has anyone else had difficulty navigating on the timeline between clips? I'm working on a MacBook Pro (2010) in Premiere Elements 2020. The arrow keys won't move the play-head forward or backward to the next or previous clip. Neither will COMMAND + ARROW key. I tried creating my own keyboard shortcut but to no avail. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Hello, first time user of the forums.I recently had a system crash that necessitated using system recovery and re-installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, plus re-installation of my Adobe software, including Premiere Elements 11.I had a really involved project I was working on in Premiere Elements before the crash. I have plenty of files from before the crash, that were backed up as part of the system recovery process, including user-based Adobe program data, program files and program files (x86). Could someone(s) PLEASE help me to recover my lost project? I have literally months of work invested in this and it will nearly kill me if I have to re-create the project from scratch.I GREATLY appreciate any help that can be sent my way!
On MacOS (10.12.4) - I inadvertently got premiere elements 2020 and my system will only support 2019. 2019 will not accept my activation code and I am terrified to upgrade to high sierra in fear of having to upgrade a lot of other software. I cannot seem to find a location to ask for help with this and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction. Title edited by Mod
I have uploaded to Photshop 20- and deleted the old photchop all of sudden a list of my albums does not appear. When I typed in a previous Album title -It says that that album exists. HOW do I get back to my albums - are they hidden someplace Thank you ep
Hi, I'm confounded! I recently switched to Google Pixel4 and while I thought I had my video setting right, I am clearly doing something wrong. I am having to enlarge the video when I import into my Premiere Elements Editor and then it just doesn't look as smooth as the original. I tried to run Shake Reduction and got the error message 'Shake Reduction requires clip dimensions to match project.' so clearly I don't have it right, but not sure where I am going wrong. I am attaching screenshots showing project settings and clip settings. Any suggestions are most appreciated. TIA
Hi everyone,I have to do some video modification for a profesionnal project. I have bought Adobe Premier Element 20. Just for explain, I have some videos (beetween 4 and 12) in landscape format and I need one video by session (so, I have to merge the differents video from one session) in portrail format. I have tried a lot of differents things... Put all my videos, rotate each one and save the video.. But in portrail format, the video is cropped.. So I have tried to merge my videos, save the video and then rotate this video and modifie to have all the image. But when I saved this final video, the quality is realy realy bad.. I have tried in AVI, MP4, SD, HD.... If someone have an idea or a solution ? I have to do this for 17 differents session, the final video of each session makes almost 2h so the exportation is realy long, and I can't wast time. Thank you in advance (and I hope that everything is clear, I'm French, so...).
I am a novice on Premier Elements 2020, although I have used Elements for years. I can get video files (.avi and .mpg) added to my video project ok, but when I play them back, there are 2 problems: they play too fast, and the audio has a constant, rapid clicking / tapping sound along with the normal audio. These files play back fine on the other media players on my computer (PowerMediaPlayer, Windows Media Player). I am using a Windows 10 desktop, fully up to date. I assume I've got something set improperly, but I don't see what. Many thanks for any help you can give.
Can I find a PDF manual for Premiere Elements 2020 and Photshop Elements 2020 somewhere?
Most of the time Premiere Elements 2018 will work perfectly. Exactly how I want it to work and the edited video is amazing. Sometimes, however, on random projects, in the corner it will say 'Conforming (video file name).m2ts' and it will show the process with a progress bar. But whenever that progress bar gets to 100 per cent, the audio on every clip will disappear immediately, when there was audio beforehand. The footage comes from the same camera every project and it seems that this event happens almost randomly. The file extensions from the camera are all M2TS and the conforming bar says it's conforming (filename).m2ts. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Whenever I've tried to upload a video to my youtube channel with Adobe Premier Elements, I get this error message. What does it mean? How do I fix the problem? Thank you.
I'm able to import my camcorder 5.1 audio into PE '20, which MediaInfo is showing having an audio format of AC-3 and a commercial name of Dolby Digital, but my movies converted in Handbrake with the same audio format are not able to import as 5.1 audio. I do see that the coded ID is different, the camcorder using 129 and Handbrake using ac-3, so does that make all the difference? The whole reason why I'm exploring PE'20 is to rip and edit my own movies while preserving the quality of the original. Thoughts? FYI, I've tried a bunch of passthrough and down mixing options in Handbrake, all with the same result of not recognizing the 5.1 audio.
