Premiere Elements

I have my new HP computer up and running smoothly and have upgraded to PE 2020 and all is good!I do have a dumb question though. I saved a few prel file projects from my old computer to a thumb drive and copied them to my new computer but they won't open in the program. The timeline for the video clips show the multi lingual banner "media offline". The titles I created for the project are in the timeline but no video or still clips. I believe I asked the same question years ago after a hard drive wipeout but cannot find the answer. I understand that the program can't show the clips because they are not where I put them initially (the old computer) but is there any way to salvage this project or must I start over?Thanks!

Hey all,  using premiere elements 2019 and my total footage is 8 mins but whenever I try exporting a finished video it has 22 mins of black attached at the end.  What am I missing? thank you! S 

I am very new to using this software. I am trying to make a video with photos and video. I want the photos to be a set time that is shorter that the time allotted when I add media. The video would play as normal. There are many photos so I need the time adjustment to work for all photos.

Hi guys, I am cutting a video for a school project at the moment, but now I have a big problem. The video sticks all the time. I couldn't even watch the video because it'S like watching a gallery with a lot of pictures. But in the beginning, it works a lot to click on "Render". But now nothing makes it better. Hope you can help meveri99

With old 8mm movies, often the syncronization of the frames would be off and you see a black bar across the screen with some of the top of the video actually appearing at the bottom.  I had home movies digitized and many have this problem.  Can I use Elements to correct that on digitized files?

Hi, trying to uninstall an older version of Premiere Elements (12) and it seems to go all right but in the end I get the "Error 1326 something is wrong with filesecurity:Getlasterror :5I'm using version 18 just now so there is no big problem, I just want to get rid of it

Dearest Adobe community, I am having quite a bit of difficulties with the pan and zoom feature on premiere elements 13. Essentially anything, and I mean anything I to tell it to do it won't do. The end result is always this completely random motion path with it way to zoomed out or zoom in. It's quite frustrating. Please help me. Im desperate. Lol.  Much love,Arthur

I have been using Elements 11 for years and with Windows 10 was forced to "upgrade" to Elements 15. The pan and zoom function in 15 is awful, to the point of being unusable.Previously, when I highlighted a still photo to zoom/pan on, it would automatically limit the zoom time to whatever the clip length was. Now it readjusts the photo to whatever happens while the pan/zoom function is active. This is particularly aggravating as Elements "conveniently" adds a new frame every time I click on one of the boxes - and the clip gets extended even if I delete the extra boxes after Elements adds them, meaning my clips keep getting artificially extended and I have to go back and cut everything down. Using the pan/zoom tool - which should take seconds - is taking minutes instead.I don't know if I've described this adequately or if anyone else has struggled with this delightful "innovation" by Adobe. I can upload a video to show what I'm talking about if that helps.thanks.

Haveing alot of consistent crashes with premiere elements 18.  using top teir video effects features such as "deep copper" freezes the entire program and i have to close out of it with task manager. this problem occurs frequently and i have not seen a recent update that fixes this problem. plz help!

I want to include video clips from my iphone 6 [ios 11]shot using a gimbal for stability. If I select them in Add Media they appear, but without a thumbnail. I can drop them to the timeline but the monitor goes black.  What is happening, pls?

Hi, I am a newbie to video editing and confused about the wide variety of containers and codecs!  I am having some 8mm cine films converted to digital and want to know what is the best format that I should ask for the output to be in, for importing into Premiere Elements 2019.  Also what project settings should I choose?  I am using Windows 10 on a PC in the UK.  After editing I want to have a high quality version (1920x1080) as the master on the computer (and for viewing on TV e.g. via a USB flash memory stick).  I also want to burn (lower resolution) DVDs for friends and family.  I would very much appreciate any advice on this subject.

Hi, I'm using Premiere Elements 9 on Windows 10 with a modern machine.  For some reason, navigating through the timeline is incredibly laggy and difficult to use.  I'm not referring to playback, which is fine.  I'm referring to scrolling or zooming on the timeline, and it takes several seconds to see the response on my screen.  Does anyone else on Windows experience this? Is there a solution? I had this happen on previous Windows machines as well. Thank you!

I have PE 2019 and have imported my drone videos before (7 months ago) with no problems but now I keep getting the error that the file isn't supported or I don't have the correct codec. I am using Premiere Elements 16 with Windows 10. It was working well untill yesterday. Now it is not starting anymore, just a short flickering of the icon. A call from the organizer doesn't work too.   I tried renaming the folder in ".../AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Premiere Elements" and a new folder is created when starting Elements. But nothing else.   Can anybody help me ?   Title edited by Mod

Is it possible to control the length of an automatic slideshow by either locking it to the time of the audio track or by setting the duration of each slide? I want a fast paced slideshow and there are no controls for this. This should be a basic function. Using premier elements 2019

Hi!I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 13 to edit a video. I have looked through it in the editing-program and it is just like I want it but after I export the film some audio bits dissapears. I have tried exporting the movie in different formats but it always ends up with some audio missing. Please help me! I am in a hurry with this project! Many thanks to anyvone willing to help,Hugo

I keep getting error messages when trying to import .mov files from my phone. Just tried a new lot again today. Some worked (about half) but the others did not import. This issue has been ongoing, I am only persisting with Elements because I paid for it.It says the version is up to date and my laptop is only about 1 year old. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,I just paid with paypal online for a premiere elements 20 upgrade.I received a serial number and downloaded the 64 Bits version.But it says that I 'm still in the trial version with watermark!I can't find any place to put a serial number in!How do I unlock the program?

1. I am uploading trail camera video clips with MP4 formats. The audio is mono.   I have used the same trail camera for several years and the same adobe Elements 12.  In September the load laptop Running Windows 7 was stolen so now i have a Dell Latitude i7 7th gen running windows 10. since installing Elements 12 and Quicktime 7 on the new computer i am getting audio glitches in either 2 or 4 second intervals. I have tried several things with no luck. has anyone had this problem before and if so how might i go about fixing it.     2. The video clips play with no flaws in Windows Movie maker, etc.  QuickTime would  give me the Error Code 2041 but i found that if i change the file extension from MP4 to M4V QuickTimes works as well to play the video clips. But when loading the clips in to e Elements you always hear a glitch/click  which may be quite or loud but it is always there.   Any hints or guesses will be much appreciated   Title edited a

I have recently downloaded the 2018 trial for prem elements 2018 and loaded a pre created Mp4 from imovies to see if I could export to DVD in blue ray format. The menu only allowed me to burn at 720 and stated that the 2018 version does not support export to DVD blue ray. is this correct?
