Premiere Elements

I would like to Publish & Share my freshly edited video to a USB stick for future viewing on other computers and also plugged into the USB port on my "Smart TV".What would be the recommended Format & Settings?On laptops, I have had success with playing back the video on USB as MPEG with the Preset selection HDTV 1080p 24 High Quality, however it stalls when plugged into the TV.I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 12suggestions welcome ...thank you

Freshly installed 2020 version, and the moment a .mov is inserted to the timeline the program freezes. Works with all other formats, and the .mov plays otherwise in any media player installed. Cannot find a path so far to stop the freeze.

Running Elements 2020 on Windows 10 Pro. I have 18 folders containing 187 video files. Total size of all files is 356 GB. These are stored on a fast SSD.  Have tried importing these to Organizer. Organizer will display correct thumbnails for some files. But it shows the gray box with an hourglass for the majority. And when I double-click on one of the grayed-out thumbnails, then Organizaer hangs and stops responding.  When browsing the files in Windows Explorer, they display thumbnails correctly and play without issue.  I've left Organizer running overnight, thinking it just needed time to rebuild the cache. It still failed to rebuild the thumbnails.  Getting very frustrated with the product. Appreciate any help. Thanks. 

Way back when...I purchased the pkg of photoshop elements 12 and premiere elements 12. Insatlled the photoshop piece with no issues. At the time I had no need for video editing software. Now I do.When trying to install the premiere piece the executable file is greyed out.I am using a mac and it has been upgraded to Catalina, not sure if this presents issues but I'm stuck. Any help is appreciated.Thx

After the latest update Priemer elements 2019 audio play back stopped working.  When I edit a video and try to plauy it back I dont get any audio.  Every thing was fine before the update.  All other audo works fine. Ithe updates Help>updates is graded out so I can up date anythnig. I have checked drives and they all working fine  I have updated all my windows drivers i am using windows 10 1909 build 18363.476.  Need help ..thanks 

Hi All, just before the last windows update (1909 I believe) the sound worked fine. But now all sound has been disabled because of 'MME not working'. All other programs with sound work correctly so no problem with windows system. Cannot change from MME as no other options given.Any ideas as to what could be wrong please?

I am working on a 1230 clips project with Premiere 15.0. I rendered a first video but when I open it know to make some modifications, Premier 15 crashes just after it is charged as soon I want to do anything. Sometimes, it won't charge being stuck on one clip. The CPU charge is about 30 %. Is there a recommanded maximum number of clips for a good working ? In Premiere V12, and probably in all versions, in the Clip menu > Field Options  > Always Deinterlace.I have been told to perform this exercise before burning a disc.I can't see any difference in the video when I do or do not perform the editing steps.  Am I missing something?

Hi, I just purchased the Premiere Elements 2020 bundle and received the CD in a box. I realized that the computer where I intended to install it, doesn't have a CD Rom drive. I would need to dowload the software. Will my purchase allow me to access Elements online and dowload it? Thanks! Bruce

Hello,I am working with Premiere Elements 2018 - now I want to export my project with the allready inserted scene marks to a MP4-File.Is there any option to get the existing scene marks as chapter marks in MP4-Export-File so that i can easily jump between chapters in VLC-Player?Thanx for any feedback!

For some reason my Premier Elements 2019 won't play clip when I add it to the timeline, every thing else works, I sse the clip, I can scroll through the clip but when I hit the play button nothing happens. I tried reinstalling and that did not help. It was working before, I did install Resolve to check it out not sure if that  caused a problem, (Resolve seems to work). This is on a high end gaming laptop so hardware should not be an issue, like I said it was working before Resolve but I don't see why that would cause a problem.Any help appreciated.

I want to take a video with sound trackI want to add and align a remixed sound track,and group them so they stay synced.I then want to cut out segments and add titles to the selected segmant. seems that adobe does not allow me to cut a groupanyone have a good answer.

I have Elements Premiere 2020 installed and the sound from my videofiles did not reach the speakers or headphones. I try every possible thing to solved this issues but no lucky so far. I also work in Magix Edit Pro and in this program the sound work well. Can anyone help me?

Thinking about maybe getting Premiere Elements 2020 but only if my laptop can manage it.  Here are some details: 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-8265U processor, Quad-core, 8 GB DDR4 ram + 16 GB Intel optane memory.  I know an i7 is preferred, with 16 DDR4, but my question is, will I be sorry I tried using Premiere on what I already have?  I know better than to expect I'd get blazing rendering speeds.  Anyone else tried it on an i5 with 8 ram (plus optane memory)?

I want to extract moving subject from background in Pr El 12. I have 2 clips, a person walking along the street on first clip and the same street without person- I'll call it background. Both clips shot from tripod from the same position and everything is the same except for moving person. I want to extract moving person so that all other pixels are transparent so that I can put it in front of some other background. In theory that is exactly what differernce matte should do. So I put background clip (empty street) on layer 1, street with moving person above it (layer 2) and than apply effect "Difference matte" on layer 2. The result should be moving person without background (person on black bacground since all pixels which are the same on layer 1 and two should be "erased". However that is NOT what I get, I see only the background clip and when I select that clip and turn opacity to 0 I see only black screen. Does that mean that above clip is completely transparent instead of just non

Hello,I have an opportunity to purchase a Panasonic AG-AC8 Camcorder, but need to check it's compatible with my Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 before purchase. It records using AVCHD format. Am I right in thinking 2018 can import this?Thanks in advance!

I just found out Windows 10 does not let you burn your Element 10 DVDs. I had that it might be my DVD blanks, until I conferred with Adobe Support. I also contacted Microsoft. It's their software and aren't interested in making changes to their program for Adobe. I love working with Adobe but I am now losing business because I can't get the DVDs burned unless I go into another program that doesn't recognize my menus. If something isn't done immediately I will have to totally abandon Adobe products.

After creating a narration sequence, I have lost my audio on the timeline for everything that is not a narration.  In my project assets, the audio still works.It is very frustrating, it happened yesterday on a project and could not find a fix.So last night, I did an uninstall ... then a fresh install ... everything then worked fine.This morning I started the video editing project over, after 3 hours of work ... it did it again.  Please, help needed.thanks

I have completed a video in Elements 15 that used photo and music files whose source was a folder that is on my desktop. Silly mistake! I now want to move this folder from my desktop to the secure part of my hard disc. Doing this however removes all the source files from the stored video when I want to edit this in Elements. My question: how do I move the source folder, with all its' files, whilst at the same time still making all the files available when editing the video?

Hi, I have Elements installed on an Acer windows 10 laptop – I tried to open Premier Elements today but it won’t open --- However, the photoshop option does open as it should. There is no error or any feedback when the video editor won't open ---it just does nothing after clicking on it, no spalsh screen no anything.My Premier did work on this computer but I have not tried to open it in several months so I am not sure when it stopped working or why

I have version 14 and version 2018 as well as previous versions; however, I had to reinstall my Premiere Elements 10 because the slide show feature in the newer versions is vastly inferior and not worth the effort.My question is in 2018 I created a slide show in version 10 and successfully output to a WMV file. I recently revisted that slide show and made some changes, mostly audio and tried to output the revised slide show with two results.One, I received a C++ error and the program shut down and two, I received the message that my output was successful, but it wasn't. The WMV file is incomplete and each time I output the slide show, I get another incomplete WMV file, but it crashes at a different location in the slide show.Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks
