As of October 3, 2019, Adobe has released the latest version of Premiere Elements. How come when I search for a fourm on google and click on the link I'm always directed to this home page:https://community.adobe.com/ Even if I enter in a direct URL, such as: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1622059 I still land on this page: https://community.adobe.com/ The adobe support community never used to be like this.. The new update is making it impossible to access any fourms. 

I have used PE 9 until the MAC OS 10.13.5 would not work this version, PE9 would take in video and audio via firewire. Having installed PE2018 this route no longer works but I have found that I can input into iMovie then transfer that onto the desktop then import into PE2018. This is a tedious process. Is there a better way to get the required result? I would love to hear one.

I am having problems importing DV video via FIREWIREI’m trying to import DV video from a JVC SR-VS30 miniDV/S-VHS combo deck via FIREWIRE. I’ve just had the deck serviced by JVC. The deck show up as being connected in OS X System Report. It shows up in FCP X. Unfortunately, FCP X is unable to import without crashing. I used to be able to use FCP 4 & 5 but v10/X is unstable.I was told that Premiere could import my old DV home movies. DV is listed as supported on Adobe’s website. But my FIREWIRE miniDV deck does not show up in the “Add videos from cameras & devices window".Has anybody been successful using Premiere to digitize DV video via FIREWIRE in Premiere Elements 15?If not, any suggestions how I could import these priceless home movies on a Mac via FIREWIRE? Beste Adobe Premiere Element usersMet plezier heb ik nu reeds een 10 tal films van mijn reizen gemaakt en ik beleef daar veel plezier aan. Nochtans heb ik nu een probleem. Ik heb een aantal back-ups gemaakt en als ik nu een van de gemaakte films verder wil aanpassen gebruikmakende van de back-ups, slaag ik er niet meer in om alles opnieuw op te roepen. (De originelen heb ik van mijn PC verwijderd…) Ik bekom het volgende:Het enige dat ik terugvind zijn de namen van de foto’ & films en de teksten. Doch de beelden zelf komen niet te voorschijn. Nochtans is de back-up een mirror kopie van de files van de laatste generatie van de film. Het proces dat ik toepas is het volgende:Ik positioneer mij op mijn back-up zijnde de verwisselbare schijf “H”Voor mijn film van Lissabon ga ik dan naar Adobe Première Elements automatic opslaanDan roep ik de file Lissabon 2018 5-1-5b opHet resultaat is de foto hierboven…Wat doet ik verkeerd? I I have been using Premiere Elements 3.0 to make videos since 2007. Now I am trying to load footage from my video camera and get this message. What is wrong and what do I do?Mike

Hello, I have permiere elements 3.0, and I am trying to run it on Windows 10, are they compatible? The actual program loads up and opens, but then it pops up with a window asking me to visit the link and copy the serial number online and the link to the website brings up a 404 error as if the page doesn't exist anymore? Is this because this version is so old its not supported online anymore? any help or advice would be hugely appreciated! thanks!

Dear all,I am working with Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on a project and suddenly I stopped to hear audio. Using playback, video is OK, I see audio track, I can edit it, but I do not hear it. And I could hear it few days ago. Also, when I play source MTS files outside Premiere, I can hear audio. I have Windows 10. Do you have an idea where the problem is please? Thank you

How do I save my video on to a DVD so that I can send it to my friend and he can play it in his DVD player.I have the latest Premier Elements and although it shows under 'Export & Share'  .  How do I save it and do I need a seperate DVD burner?  Sorry for such a basic question but I have tried a few times and I can't get a result.   You will have to explain each step to me please>

Will Premier Element allow special effects?- disappearing - doubles/cloning

I only have 2 sound sources and 1 video source going on this 3-minute YouTube video I'm making, but the orange line appears, and my song keeps jamming/stopping!why does Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 have room for 3-4 videos and 3-4 audio/sounds when the presence of the orange line seems to be a warning that this program can't even handle half of that?

so I upgraded to 2019 and I noticed when using the text function and select the box, the cursor moves to about ¼ below the box and difficult to drag to new location.  I have search this but did not find any solutions, has anyone any idea?

I'm trying out Adobe Creative Elements 2019. I noticed that there are buttons for zoom in and zoom out, but they don't seem to work on the main photo: insteadthey seem to bring in the entire group of videos and sounds closer all at once, and that's not going to help. Thanks!

I have the Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements 13 (I do plan to upgrade).   I want to remove this from my desktop machine and move it to my laptop.I have one customized output device for exporting my video, that I created for a digital photo frame I have ...   So, how to I make a copy of those settings prior to uninstalling the program on the desktop,  so that I can import it into the program after I install it on the laptop?

I have Premiere Elements 19, i7 Core.  With no other programs running, render time for 3106 frames is 4 hours.  Why so slow?

Every time I open my project, some MTS files must be conformed before I can start editing. So I wait until all the conforming is complete before doing anything else, but I'm gradually finding more and more video clips in my timeline with audio issues. Some video clips are silent, while other video clips play audio from an entirely different video clip in the timeline!   I've read in other threads about how to possibly prevent the constant "conforming stuff," but still unsure how to do that. I wonder if it permanently damaged the audio.

Hi all - I've been importing GoPro video for the last couple years without an issue, but suddenly the .mp4s I'm trying to grab from my Hero 7 are only recognized as audio files after importing into Premiere? I've imported them both from the card itself, and from my hard drive through the add file method. I know there are some known bugs between GoPro and Premiere, however does anyone have a fix for this, or a good file converter suggestion? 

Hello: I am using PRE version 9 on my windows 7.  I have downloaded a video from Youtube that I edited originally in Movie Maker on a PC Windows 10.  I have uploaded the video and I can hear the audio but can't see the video.  I am able to open this video in both QuickTime and Windows Media Player.  It is Mp4 format.  I also tried a .wmv file from the PC sample video libary and the same thing happened:  audio is ok but not video. I go into settings and am looking for W 1280 by H 720 and 29 FPS.  There is HD, DV, and more.  Not sure which to choose when starting a new project.  The program isa bit buggy since I try to open from organizer and it crashes.  Just wondering if there are some settings I am missing. I have attached an image of what I am seeing.  In the video section, I am often seeing an image of another window I was previously viewing, in this case the support page from Adobe.Thanks. Warmly, Doug

I am posting as a last resort. I have spent two days googling, watching you tube videos, and reading user manuals. I finally called an 800 number and went through all the menus. They told me my wait was 6 minutes. I have been on hold now for 1 hour and 46 minutes!!! I went with Adobe because I thought there would be good support. What a mistake. I created an ok slideshow in Photoshop Elements and am supposed to be able to bring it in to Premiere Elements to enhance it. I purchased the two programs together. When I try to drag the slideshow from the Organizer into Premiere Elements, I get a red circle with a diagonal line and can't move the slideshow. Alternatively, I am supposed to be able to right-click the slideshow and select Edit in Premiere Elements, but I don't get that option. Finally, I am supposed to be able to import the slideshow into Premiere Elements by clicking on Add Media and selecting the organizer. Take a look at this: As you can see, I have selected one clip and there are 2 effects applied to it. I have multiple clips in my timeline, which have multiple effects like these. Can anyone suggest how I can remove them all together?
