Premiere Elements

A video I've worked on for awhile now in Adobe Elements is around 2 min long. When exporting the program says the video is 333 MB and renders quickly. The video file works like any other, though when I try to play the video with a Media Player it reaches 12 seconds and warps the screen instantaneously ending the video. The Media Player says the video is 7 min long. The file is now only 5 MB. When uploaded to YouTube it is 5 seconds in total and works like any other video on the site. It doesn't end on any notable moments (in between clips) just randomly.[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved... I recently installed my adobe premiere elements 11 on my new MacBook Pro.Previously, I used that on my windows computer and it worked fine to do narrations with my Blue Yeti mic.I started editing a video on the Mac this week, and when I tried to do a narration, it didn’t work.I went to preferences, Audio hardware, Default deviceand changed from MacBook Pro speakers to Yeti Stereo Microphone, which is my external microphone I used in premiere on my old Windows laptop.The Preferences - Audio hardware window doesn’t show asio preferences (like it does on windows) for input audio. It only shows Default device.Ive changed the default device to my yet microphone but when I open the narration window and click record, it keeps saying ”your current audio hardware selection does not have any input channels. Please use Preferences-Audio Hardware-Default Device to correct this problem”.Is this an issue that can be solved without having to invest on another editor software? Please, help!

I'm having 8mm cine films converted to HD digital and have been advised by the forum (thanks Steve!) that my best choice of format for importing into Premiere Elements 2019 would be MP4 h.264 1920x1080p 25 fps. (I'm in the UK).  The cine film converters also offer a numbered image sequence of jpegs, each one 1920x1080 pixels.  I'm thinking this would be useful for tidying up individual frames in Photoshop before importing them to Premiere Elements.  My question is, would a numbered image sequence be of equivalent quality to an MP4?

L.S.,Perhaps I did not mentioned my problem very clear. I have a laptop with Windows 10.0.17134 Build 17134.I work with Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 and Premiere Elements 15.I made in my Photoshop presentations and I have the intention to make amovie from my presentations.So I open Premiere Elements, go to Import Media, first I go to my foldersand find a little video I made with my Samsung phone. Dan I go to ElementsOrganizer to pick up my presentations. Then I put my projects on the Video1space. Ik like to see my work, but when I click on the space button, nothinghappened. I can click on the right button and on the left button and itworks. I can click on PG down and the time indicator goes tot he end of myprojects, and I can click on PG up and the time indicator goes tot he startof my files. When I will see my work, I can move th time indicator.The other two buttons, to play quick forward and to play quick back, didn'twork too.Is there anybody, who could help me?Dorry Tabbers

I had no issues till a couple of days ago but now when I try to launch APE 14 it says that my video driver is not compatible it just exits. I haven't changed anything on my laptop, its the same video card and driver that was in there by default.ThanksTahir

Could someone direct me to a guide or post on how to add the correct codec to elements Video editor. I thought by loading quicktime it would work.I just purchased Premier Elements Photo Shop and Video Editor Bundle with the Organizer and cant import the MOV File.This is a 25Gig MOV file ProRes 422 HQ of a film I had captured.When I Add Media in Video Editor  from files ,all I get is n Generic Import error. I added this file to the Organizer and when I Add the file from the organizer option I get more detail, GENERIC IMPORT FAILURE , FILE NOT SUPPORTED OR CODEC NOT INSTALLED.The file will open and play in Quicktime and in VirtualDubAny suggestions would be appreciatedKM

Hi I have a basic question which I could not get answered on google yet. First How can I trim or move a clip without using the marks on the timeline? The marks set does not allow to move or trim in detail only using those marks. Thanks

Hello!I had one audio clip on one audio track that sounded as it should.But when I moved it to another audio track, it became mute,although there was other audio clips on that same track- that sounds correctly.It has happened before and It becomes a problemwhen you do not have the space and need to furnish the sound.Thanks in advanceGert

I am trying to import some videos from my MotoG6 phone which are mp4 format. Some import without any problem while a couple always cause PEL15 to report a generic error - screenshot of error report below. Any thoughts as to why this may be happening?

Trying to figure out the best method for compiling a season long soccer highlight video.  As the season is about to start I'd like to have a good workflow in place before it starts.  Each game is ~one hour.  I use Premiere Elements to combine all the individual mp4 files and I also overlay a scoreboard that runs at the bottom for the duration of the video.  That video then gets uploaded and shared with the team.I want to edit the highlight clips throughout the year and I would also like to have the scoreboard included in the highlight video so ideally I'd like to import each individual game into a combined project which I would maintain throughout the season.  I believe this is not possible in elements.  The second possible option would be to export each individual game and then create a new project using the exported version of each game.  I'm not sure if this will maintain quality or what steps I could take to ensure the final highlight video was st

I've just obtained Elements 19 after using Elements 15 for the last couple of years.Editing video clips I suddenly cannot drag audio effects to the timeline as I used to as in Elements 15. Is this something to do with that Elements 19 has discovered my clips are in 5.1 sound and therefore cannot use effects? If so is there a way to convert to stereo as the finished video only goes on You Tube?Or is there another reason?Peter

I'm trying to help someone complete a DVD project they were making using an older version of Premiere Elements, and they're looking for more choices of DVD template for their menus than just those installed by default.I found the page where these are supposed to be available, but it appears that none of the downloads are currently working:http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/Is there somewhere else that I can get these? I was hoping to install the complete pack for  Premiere Elements 9, I know it's an old version but their machine isn't exactly cutting edge and it's the version their projects have all been produced in anyway.

Converting VHS to digital. I create VOB with Sony DVD convertor then import VOB to Premiere elements. VOB imported file has blacken smudges (see attached photo). Running fix and rendering does NOT solve the problem.  PC is HP Pavilion with i7 processor and 16 GB RAM. Video card is NVIDIA GTX GeForce 1050 ti with 1 GB vRAM. Playback of original VOB file with VLC player shows not problem with original video file.Any assistance appreciated.

I've looked on the forums about how to transfer a copy of premiere elements from one computer to another. Sign out on the old computer and then download and install on a new computer. Seems straightforward enough.This is the issue I have. I have Premiere Elements (and Photoshop Elements) installed on 6 computers (from 6 licenses). I want to deactivate Premiere (and Photoshop) Elements on 2 of those computers and install on 2 new computers. When I do this, how do I know which serial numbers I have deactivated so I can make sure I use those serial numbers on the new computers? (ie how do I find out which serial number relates to which computer?).I'd usually expect to see this in the "About Premiere Elements" option on the menu but this just seems to give me the version number. I know you can install a copy on 2 machines with the same serial number but these 6 computers will be used at the same time so it's important that the serial numbers on the deactivated machines are the ones used on

Hallo, da ich mir AE2019 zulegen möchte, muss ich mir leider auch ein neues Notebook zulegen. Ich habe momentan ein Acer mit Intel i3 und 4 GB Speicher. Beim editieren meiner Gopro 6 Hero Black Clips stoße ich an die Grenzen vom Acer.Der Clip ist in 2,7k aufgenommen, aber wenn ich ihn editiere, z.b. für Youtube wird er etwas pixelig. Nothing happens when I choose "Open Recent Project".  I pick one of the recents (or "My Project" if I didn't name it) and...nothing.   Clips don't load, nothing n the timeline.  Is this a common thing?

I have a video that will not save !!

I've been working on a project in Premiere Elements 12 (admittedly rather large, with many assets, although most are smaller). As of yesterday I was working on it no problem, all of the sudden today I can't open - the program crashes with no error message or info message of any type beforehand; it simply won't open. It opens new projects perfectly fine, and any other projects I can work on all load fine. It's just this one file that will not open; it'll say 100% loaded and then crash. I still have all the assets on my computer so it should be able to find everything, however it's not even getting to that point. I realize now I probably should have worked in smaller projects and then imported them all into one but I didn't. Is there anything I can do to at the very least get the program to open so I can recover what I have, or open the file somewhere else for breakdown? I don't want to lose several months worth of work. Hi liebe Community,ich bin fertig mit der Bearbeitung meines Videos und würde es nun gerne exportieren. Leider ist dies nicht möglich, da ich eine Fehlermeldung erhalte: "Verwacklungsreduzierung wird noch ausgeführt oder ist fehlerhaft. Starten Sie den Export nach Abschluss des Vorgangs neu oder beheben Sie den Fehler und versuchen es erneut". Hab schon intensiv nach Lösungen gegoogelt, aber nichts funktioniert. Habe alle Verwacklungsreduzierungen gelöscht, Elements geschlossen und neu gestartet, nichts hilft... Kann jemand helfen? Das Video ist für meinen Job und soll diese Woche eigentlich online gehen 😕😕Danke und VGAlex

Hello to all, I have just started with Premier 2019 and while in Export mode when playing the video the image automaticaly goes into zoom. If, I stop the movie it returns to it's normal format and the whole image is there on screen. I have search for a fix but nothing has worked so far. A friend of mine that also has purchased the same software has the same problem and also cannot find how to fix this?? This is happening before I have attempted to work on the movie. I have cut out some parts and saved it and came back with it and it is still the same.Does anyone have this problem and have you been able to fix it?Best regards,Guy
