Premiere Elements

Hello, I am having an issue where after I import a video file (MPEG-4 movie) into Premiere Elements the audio is completely desynced from the video. When I watch the video in quicktime the audio is fine, but after import into Premiere Elements it is completely off. After spending about 10 min trying to move the audio back into place it seems that somwhere the audio got completely messed up. This is because it can be matched up in the beginning, but another 1o or 15min in the audio will again be ahead or behind. Thus meaning the audio is not syncing the same as the video. I have tried with other similar video files to recreate the issue, but haven't had any luck doing so. Not sure what im doing wrong, But if anyone has any helpful insight it would be great.

I'm fairly new to Premiere Elements (2018) (Mac) and love the program.I take videos of my granddaughter on my iPhone and the proportions are 9:16. Most of the videos have the subject centered and the wide format is distracting and often includes extraneous material.How can I crop the proportions to 3:4?Also, how do I get videos into the best and most efficient format for Facebook?Thanks in advance !!!

Until last month, I was burning, on Premiere Elements 10, project files on both DVDs and Blue Ray Discs. As there were no changes on my computer, I i am not able to burn any more DVDs but only Blue Rays. Trying to burn a DVD the message  " No burners detected " appears . Is there any solution for the problem ?.

hi I want to download elements premier to my iPad but looking at the option when choosing a trial it isn’t there only windows or Mac ..... which should I choose or does it not download to iPads thanks

Hi,WE used to use CS2 for our real estate photography.  Can anyone recommend a photoshop programme which can straighten photos, remove flashes, cut and paste colours, add blue skies etc.Thanks.Tony

Hello there!I have searched the interwebs, but cannot find an answer...I am a photographer who is just getting into editing video.  There are dust spots on my video clips.    I want to make a nice edit for my cousin.  Is there a way of removing these spots in premiere elements 15?  Please be careful....I am an extreme beginner with video editing!Thank you in advance for any and all help!!!!!!!!!!

Hi !!!I have an HP OMEN Laptop two GPUs, an Intel HD Graphics and an NVidia GEForce GTX 1050. The main screen of the laptop is 1920x1080 and it has an HDMI port to connect a 2nd monitor. I have a  BENQ 1920x1080 connected as monitor 2.After I start Premiere Elements it appears on screen 1 (main screen). I proceed to drag the premiere screen to the 2nd monitor and up to this point, it works,Next I click on the Premiere maximize screen square and ID DOES NOT work.... the whole Premiere screen moves back to monitor 1. I cannot maximize it in monitor 2.My guess is that this is a bug, because it does not happen with Photoshop Elements.Adobe please let me know if you need additional information from me so that you can fix it.Regards, Ed

I tried to burn a project to Blu-ray but PrE13 encountered an error after hours of rendering that gave no info on how to solve it.  I tried thesuggestions on this board about making an ISO.  I created one and then burned it but it would not play on a Blu-ray player.  I turned off the GeForce  in preferences and now it won't even make an ISO.  It was at 98% and I left the room for a few minutes.  When I came back, there was no ISO and the program had shut down.  I have done this several times with the same results.  After the last time, I went back into the program and GeForce was rechecked somehow.  I just spent days compiling a project that I have no way to burn and view.  All the online info pertaining to this issue is years old.  Is there a solution yet?  What am I supposed to do now?

Hello,I'm a bit new to the forums so please bare with me! I'm trying to edit my videos and the file types I'm uploading to Elements are all HEVC. When I move the media into the project, the files only come up as audio files. Am I missing something? Is handbrake the answer? Will I lose my quality if I use handbrake? Thanks in advanced. !

How can I add multiple photos in alphabetical/numbered sequence or chronological order into Premiere Elements 15 on Mac OS 10.12? Whether I choose them from Add Media in PE15 or drag them from the Finder, they are added out of order; I have to add them individually to get them into sequence in the Project Assets. I don't want them as one continuous Numbered Stills sequence unless there is a way to decouple them afterwards to delete individual photos.

I've used Premiere Elements 2018 on other PCs, and I wanted to install it on my brand-new custom-built PC. However, it freezes on the splash screen at "Loading PlayerMediaCore.pm." I'm using Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview 64-bit build 18219. I tried reinstalling Elements and restarting my PC, as well as manually installing the VS extension packages (C# redistributable 2017 x64 and x86) that failed to install.

Hi,I have reinstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 11 on a new windows 10 machine. I have downloaded Quicktime 7.79 ( latest version from Apple ) .Videos shown in the organiser are small an look jerky and with a really small picture. When I open them up in the editor i get a full picture but the resolution is bad and the movement is jerky.The video looks really nice on the default windows player.The video is a mpeg4 video shot by a DJI Mavic Pro.Should I look for another program or is there hope.How often am I suppose to buy a new version of this SW. I know my version was bought 2012.Regards

We use Premiere Elements 15 and we want to combine HD and 4K in one movie. Will Premiere Elements refuse to do this?  Len

I have .prel pictures on a flash drive and Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on my Windows 10 computer.  The pictures won't open because they are "the wrong kind of file."  How can I view my .prel files?  File Viewer Plus can't open them either.

Hi there.I've been having trouble getting videos loaded onto Adobe Premiere Elements 14 and it is kinda bothersome. The files are .mp4 and I've tried more than one way to get them on the video editor. I've tried loading it directly from my phone, getting the files from my external Hard Drive, I've even gone to my Google Photos and Drive to get them down from the cloud, but no matter how I get the files, I always get, "The importer reported a generic error."I've cleaned out my cache and made some room on my NEW computer, but keep running into the same problem. My computer is running on an AMD Ryzen 7 processor and contains 8GB of RAM, so the software should be able to run with no hassle.I really need help. If I can't get this situated, I won't be able to continue making content.

I finished created my project in adobe premiere 12 but when I go to export the project, the option is not available to use.Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

I'm looking for a simple and efficient way of creating a slideshow video that's similar to the opening title sequence seen in the This Is Us TV show. I'm not looking to have the pictures fall into the words as it will be a looping slideshow when finished.

I have had this problem ever since installing Premiere Elements. I though support had solved the problem by deleting the preferences, but then it started again. I then deleted the preferences myself and it was fine for a while, but then started again. It's not even during the same actions. I can be editing a Motion Title with no problems for a while, then it will suddenly freeze. Or, like just now, it happens straight away after dragging and dropping a Motion Theme.Is Elements having trouble with Mac OS High Sierra still? (10.13.6) I went back to support chat, but each time I have it's been closed.Anyone else experiencing this?

I've been seeing a number of posts earlier this Spring with people experiencing crashes and bugs of PE 2018 on Mac OS 10.12 and higher. If this is still the case, then is it best to run 10.11 OS with it? I've got a training coming up in a month and want this sorted out with my students both on Mac and PC. when applying an effect with replication and transformation, when I go to set the count to 3 and the scale to 300, the video track is not zoomed, it is as if there was an error in the transformation effect, all of this happened when after saving I closed and reopened premiere, before it gave no problem with this effect, now it is useless.

Besides the fact that often when I'm working Motion Titles in freezes the program, can anyone tell me why enlarged text is cut of at the top, as per this image.

Hi there.I would like to do stop motion in premiere elements, but I was just wondering if there was anyway that when you import the photos that they all automatically come out at the same length (e.g. 1/18th-1/24th of a second)? Or, if there was a way to adjust them all to the same length after importing them at the same time, rather than going through and individually adjusting them all separately?Cheers, Ed.
