Premiere Elements

Panasonic camera HDC SD60 is generating ".mt2s" files. They can be processed with  HD Writer,a video editor that was provided with the camera but having rather poor functional possibilities.I would like to do video editing with Adobe premiere 2018. The import accepts those files. However the quality is not what it should be comparing to the rendering in HD writer, or connecting the camera to a TV. Videos are twinkling - very tiring for the eyes.How to import those files without loosing quality.?Thanks

Have a windows 7 Lenovo T430 laptop with plenty of resources of all kinds, fully updated - windows, drivers, etcOver 4 years experience using elements products (photoshop and premiere) - and all the scars learning the sequences to avoid most crashes.Started a new project after 6 months of not using the products, found Photoshop Elements 11 still working fine, Premiere Elements 11 refused to open - after multiple restart in every combination of holding shift key, direct from exe, starting in safe mode, and what seemed like endless uninstalling/reinstalling . Used CC Cleaner and worked thru at least 20 forum discussions. Was surprised how many "fail to open" discussions, some going back 4 years or more, remain unanswered. Tried most things but refused to mess with Registry stuff.Gave up, uninstalled both "11" family products, purchased Elements 2018 family and installed with serial numbers.Now, neither program with start - Organizer splash screen crashes at "loading Media Core components

I've been editing an Adobe Premiere Elements 14 .prel file. Now when I try to open it it will not load past 88% (varies between 75-88%). I've opened it a few times after saving and closing out and it worked fine. I've checked the computer and there is plenty of space. Any suggestions?

I'm running PE14 on Win7\64 and am only a stumbling amateur.My backups folder is getting large, so I'm exploring how and why it is used.Although I did play with videos today, I did NOT open the program or do any project.That was yesterday.My question:  How can I have a backup today?How can this backup be dated with a time stamp hours in the future?My system clock correctly says 3:43 PM, and the newest clip is stamped 8:27 PM.Why would PE be active if I did not open it today?  How can I stop creating backups?I'm considering deleting the whole folder, since my workflow is create and discard the video work once distributed and I only keep the original media created by the camera.Sorry about the multiple inquiries, I hope I'm just confused about a basic concept and can understand what's going on.Thanks in advance,Mike LeDuc

All of sudden this program started crashing. Can I have some one fix it or send me the latest version please?

Hello All. I am using Premiere Elements 18 to make a video from my vacation pics. I added music to enhance the video, and I'd like to have the music fade in several places. I know how to get it to fade, but I'd like to change the default setting to make the fade longer. I've looked through the settings, but I can't figure out how to change the default. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know that I can manually change the timing of the fade, but I'd rather not do that.

Lediglich im Audioclip direkt lässt sich der Audio-Balken verschieben. Allerdings muss sofort gespeichert werden (Speicheranzeige läuft nur bis ca. 40% durch), da danach das Programm abstürzt. Nach Neustart ist dieser Clip geändert. Was kann ich tun damit die volle Funktion widerhergestellt wird?

HelloAs in Adobe Premiere Elements 2018, play the movie from the last frame to the first. Standard rate.I have recorded how someone gets up from a chair. There is a lack of scene as this person sits on a chair.If the recorded video will be duplicated and the part doubled from the last frame to the first, then I will get the missing part of the movie.I found an effect that changes the tempo and additionally records the sequence: forward, backward, forward. This effect is too difficult for me. The forward tempo is padded and you also need to shoot the moment when the movie is played back and the movie clipped.There is something simplistic? So just backwards at a normal pace without a loop - front, back, front?

Tools are on the right. One of them is a button with a note. After clicking it, I'm empty.Is there any chance there should be some kind of music that can be used as a background film?If so, how do you upload it or how to download it?I have Adobe premiere elements 2018.

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on Imac desktop. (10.13.6) -   When attempting to export my video photos, audio and text, I am getting message "Shake reduction is in progress or has encountered an error."  (in frech: Le processus de reduction des tremblement est en cours ou a rencontré une erreur) - So I don't know what to do to fix it - I can't export my video. I bought Adobe Premiere 13 in 2015. It worked perfect.Since a few days I have a new laptop and installed the program.Because the new laptops don't have a dvd burner build in, I wanted to make an ISO file.When it was burning, the program frooze at 24%.Is this a common problem? Can I still use the program with my new laptop. It runs on windows 10.I hope there's a solution for my problem.

I would like to change the dimensions of a screen video of an iPhone and keep it's proportions. Basically I need to make it bigger.I am a real beginner. Is this even possible with Premiere Elements?

I have been a long time user of Cyberlink PD.  I am thinking about purchasing Adobe Premier Elements.  I don't use the features PD has and Elements does not.  I just export in MP4 and I like some of the controls I see in Elements.  I have the trail version and I've been playing with it for a few days.  The only problem I am having that might be a deal breaker is that I cannot get sound from MP3 music that I add?  I lets me import the MP3 music to the timeline but there is no sound.   When I import .wav is the only format I can actually get music?  Is this one of the limitations or should I be able to import MP3 and actually get sound?  (who keeps .wav music on their computers)?? 

I used to be able to use animated text in Premiere Elements 10, but now none of the options are showing up. I have Windows 7 as my operating system. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Elements 10, so maybe not all items were reinstalled. How can I check? Or how can I regain the capability for text animation? Norman Anderson

I created this same post not to long ago, but it was soon buried by other posts. With no way to 'bump' a post as far as I know on this website so I am going to re do my explanation in this 'new and improved' post.I have 4 (sometimes 5 tracks for sound effects) tracks of audio and 1 track of video. 3 of those need to be linked to the single video track so that when I use the trim/cut tool they remain in sync with the video. The 4th and 5th tracks do not need to be in sync with the video because it is the track that music/sound effects are placed on. Premiere Elements has 2 tools that I know of that can fix half of the problem, these tools are the 'group tool' and 'link audio-video tool'. Below is an explanation of why I cannot use these two tools.The reason I do not use grouping is because when I go to trim/cut all of tracks remain in one big group. Hi,I have a project with multiple title screens, and I'd like to use the same fonts/styles/animations on each one, and rather than doing it all manually each time, I figure there has to be a way to transfer everything from one to the other. I'm able to save a style, but that only takes care of the text style and nothing else obviously. I see the "paste effects and adjustments" option when I right click a block, but I can't seem to figure out how to get that to work.Is there really no way to do this? Thank you.

Dear all, I have downloaded trial version of Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and when I import AVCHD .MTS files it does not show audio track, it shows video track only. These AVCHD files are from SONY camera HDR-CX450. I have Windows 7 HP, 64-bit, RAM 8 GB.When I import mp4 files from my mobile or XAVC mp4 files from the same SONY camera, audio tracks are visible in Adobe Premiere 2018. Audio is also visible in my previous version - Adobe Premiere Elements 11. Interesting is that I think it worked fine the first day but on the second day when I wanted to spend more time with it, there was one popup to install some update for Adobe Premiere 2018 and since I installed it I could not see that audio... I have absolutely no idea where the problem is. Thank you for help

So I just bought Premiere Elements 2018 as I was looking for something easy to help a young person with a video project. How do I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of the timeline? This feature was definitely in Premiere Elements years ago, and it has always been a staple in Premiere Pro and practically every other NLE (except FCP lol). The timeline zoom is normally done with ALT+MouseWheel.So am I missing something, or is it really gone?[text edited by mod]
