Premiere Elements

If I would like to utilize GPU acceleration function in Premiler Elements 2024, which one is better  intel core i5 UHD 770 or AMD Ryzen 5 8600G? I know Nvidia Graphics Card works better but it costs a lot.

Hello,I have Adobe premiere elements 10. Always had only that version and nothing else.I have a project of like 10 years old that I need. I try to open it. It is loading to 100% and then I get the message that " this project is not compatible with the current version of Premiere Elements". Why? I ever had only 1 version!How to solve this?Is there someone with a new version of Premiere element that might be able to open it and save it as version 10? Some other ideas?I hope someone can help as there's been a lot of time invested in the file... Best Regards,Inge

I have a long video, about 3-1/2 hours.  It's a tutorial video, and there are distinct portions that lend themselves well to markers.  I don't want to create  DVD.  I would like to have a menu of sorts at the very beginning, where I can select any one of the distinct portions to watch, and go to that portion which will play and stop at the end of that portion.  Markers seems to be the method to use.  I only see 2 types of markers in Premiere Elements 2024: Timeline and Beat.  I've been reading the online manual, which talks about Menu and Scene markers, but I don't see these.  So far, I've set a bunch of Timeline markers, and edited them to put in a description and chapter number.  It seems strange to me to be able to edit a Timeline marker and set a chapter number, but not have chapter markers.  Anyway, I can't find what to do next to make my menu of chapters at the beginning of the video.  It would be nice to be able to select a

Trying to reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements on a new Windows Computer but it won't take the serial number.   I have a printed page from the original purchase with the redemption code and Serial Number.  What options do I have to fix besides purchasing new software?    I haven't used the product for several years and trying to install on a newer system.  Thanks in advance for any help.   [Mod: Moved to the Premiere Elements forum]  

I have a video which does not have any music. I am trying to add a music track to my video, but I get a message that says "Add Media Failure - The importer reported a generic error." I would appreciate any help in solving this problem.

The text styles tab in the menu is completely blank. The Text, Animation, and Shapes tabs are still functioning. I've tried closing down the program and reopening it but it did not work. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a way to fix it? Thanks.

In Adobe Premiere Elements 2024, I go to Edit-Preferences-General-UI Mode-Dark to try to change the UI from Light to Dark.  I receive the message that I need to relaunch the application and I close out the application and the home screen and reopen.  The UI keeps showing in Light Mode.  I also tried using the 'Sun' icon but it still won't change to Dark Mode.   Any ideas as to how to get the preference to stick?

I have Elements 2023 Bundle installed on a Windows 10pc. Setting up a New Windows 11 pc - and just purchased the 2024 bundle versions. What are the best steps to keep my catalogue and settings.  Actual pictures on on a NAS.

So i have been searching everywhere for help, but there's only steps for Premiere pro and not Elements. pretty much i'm using "Geforce Experiance" to screen record my gameplays. the video will have 2 audios, the game audio and my mic audio. when using another video editer, i'm able to switch/choose between the 2 audio. i can also do the same thing when i open the video on media player. but for some reason premiere elements will only have the game audio when you insert the video to timeline. i tried looking at all the audio tabs, right clicking the video audio to see if there's any settings. but i find nothing that will change the audio on elements. and like i said, all the help/steps i can find is for premiere pro. so all the settings are entirely different from elements. i read something where elements is a lower tier/package then pro. and it's mainly for beginers and for quick edits. would that mean elements just doesn't have the ability to extract multiple audios since that's probab

I purchased Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2024 thinking they would provide a more polished and powerful editing capabilities than the free and open source tools I have used for several years for editing photos and making videos.Whereas I have successfully used open source Shotcut for several years on my Windows 10 11th Gen i7 with Iris Xe Graphics to produce videos comprised of edited photos and video clips, I am unable to reliably apply even basic effects to HD video clips in Premiere Elements 2024 project without risk of the video clips flickering, misbehaving, and being black for majority of playback.  (Occurs in preview, timeview view, and published video.) I have had a support ticket open with Adobe for 9 days.  I have spent many hours on support calls with no resolution or explanation.  I have provided everything Support has requested.On 3 different days when Support was supposed to contact me for next steps, Support did not contact me. I am in disbelie

Hello All. I have a new iMac M3 and am trying to bring over my legacy apps, like Premiere Elements 14, from my old mid-2011 iMac. But 14 won’t work: “Configuration Error 1”. So I downloaded a 2024 version, but when I tried to put in my valid v14 serial number, it rejected it (the 30-trial version works fine). When I chatted with Support, they confirmed that I had a valid Premiere Elements serial number, but  said I had to subscribe to use the 2024 version. However, I HATE subscriptions; I want to pay to own. QQQ: Is there a later-than-14 version of Premiere Elements that I could download, apply my valid serial number, and have it work on this new iMac? Possible? Thanks for any inputs.

Using Adobe Premiere Elements 2021.I followed the tutorial on the help section as well as YT videos but are unable to attach anything to the tracked object.- Yellow rectangle appears once tracking is calculated. It successfully tracks the objects as I play/scrub the clip so I assume it's not an issue of the object not being trackable.- When trying to click and drag an image/text/video to the yellow rectangle (tracked object), the rectangle does not turn blue as shown in multiple tutorials. The image does show up on the the video tracks but does not follow the object. I've tried both default grpahics (the image templates that automatically pop up when motion tracking is selected) and images/texts/videos from project assets. Nothing works. Can someome help me figuring out why it's not working? Habe Adobe Premiere Elements 2020Leider bekommen ich beim Öffnen von Iphone Videos folgende Fehlermeldung:Weitere Informationen:Bei Microsoft gekauft und installiert. Seither kann ich in Windows 11 Iphone Videos öffnen.Weitere Anweisung: Media Cache Files gelöscht. Leider trotzdem Öffnen von Iphone Videos in Adobe Elements nicht möglich.Ist das auch zu löschen? I had a single clip and I divided in two. Then if I want to merge them into one clip the only way to do it that I found is the Undo command … that anyway is visible if the previous cut was done only few step before!! Otherwise you lost all successive editing 😞I tried the Group function but if you use some kind of transition or other editing, the two clips are not see as a single one so the action involve only one clip ...I think that a merge function should be available as any  even not professional editor allows (e.g. Pinnacle Studio). Please let me know

I have an unfinished project on my external drive. I want to move this project to my new desktop computer and continue working on it.  When I created a new project on external drive it was linked to USB drive (let it be K:), in some directory (let it be Video Projects) and was given a name (let it be Trip to Mexico). I would like to continue editing my project in a new desktop on drive D: (default for Data), place it in PE Projects directory and name it Trip to Cancun.Is it possible? Thanks. Lev.

I have spent days trying to get someone at Adobe to help with this with no joy, been hung up on, ignored and so ill try here.I deactivated Adobe Premiere Elements 15 as i was replacing my mobo, did that and installed Adobe Premiere Elements 15 again, go to activate it again and get this message.Update your browserTo use Adobe services, please update your Adobe applications, operating system, and browser to the latest versions I have tryed all advice i have found on Adobe website and anyware in the net, nothing works. So will try one last time here. I know it is older s/w but i payed for it and i liked it and i want to use it!  I would have considered upgrading to the new version if it was not for the absolute rubbish support Adobe has provided.  I dont know how a company can treat its coustomers so badly and still be in buisness.  Steven
