Premiere Elements

I can not get adobe organizer or premiere elements 2018 to create either a slideshow or instant movie.  In either case I get the spinning wheel and then either the adobe application fails ( disappears) or the system locks up and I have to do a hard stop on the computer.  All updates are applied on both the adobe software and on windows 10.  Have tried everything I can think of: run as administrator, selected smaller number of slides to be included when adding to time line.  Nothing seems to change outcome.

My previous post stated,When reinstalling PE 15, from disc, I get the message to install Adobe Support Advisor, because  "Installer failed to initialize". I am using Windows 10.I am not able to find in Adobe Downloads, Adobe Support Advisor thus I could not try using itI was able to remove both OOBE files;as recommended however that did resolve the issue.Is there a way to do a total uninstall of Photoshop Elements 15 and Premirer Elements 15. I trying to uninstall and reinstall to solve a PE 15 issue. Also, is there a way to respond to Adobe replies, rather than start a new discussion?

Can someone please tell me how to add a transparent eps logo to a video project. Does Premier Elements accept eps files? Thank You.

I just bought a new Dell laptop, 2TB, 16 GB RAM, Intel core i7, 8th Generation; basically one of Dell's top laptops as far as specs, but for whatever reason, PE 14 keeps crashing when I attempt to add a photo or video to the timeline. I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling it which didn't change anything. Every instance where I tried to add a photo or video to the timeline, the program freezes for about 10 seconds, then the screen turns gray and I get the "PE stopped working" message and it kills the program.I had an older Dell (which was stolen) with lesser specs, but PE 14 worked brilliantly on it, so I'm a bit at a loss here. This is quite frustrating as I need to complete a work project. Any suggestions?

I am using Windows 10 with Premiere Elements 15 and I have totally lost audio in my projects. Photoshop audio works fine. Any support most welcome.

Adobe Premiere Experts, I will admit I am new to the video editing business and there may be a very simple solution to my problem.  Operator error is certainly within the differential.  Below I have included, my PC specifications, video card info, Adobe Pr version, and a freeze frame of the problem.   I can add *.mp4 video to my timeline, and play, but only the sound is previewed at this time.   When I first installed Pr elements, the videos very briefly displayed in preview, but this stopped functioning after adding several videos, and now will not work even on new projects.  I have tried clearing the cache, looking for updates, un-installing Adobe PS and Pr elements and re-patching, updating the Nvidia driver and deleting all video files and re-importing.  Nothing seems to allow these to videos to preview.  Clearly I am fumbling in the dark, someone please light the way.   

Helloi had adobe premiere elements 14 installed on my computer few years ago.now i am considering to upgrade to adobe premiere elements 18.so is it correct that i only need to pay 79 us dollar for the upgrade?if so, after the upgrade, i want to install this software onto another computer.so the the version that installed on my second computer will also be adobe premiere elements 18 right?thanks,Eddie

I shot a two hour video using a Cannon XA30 camcorder that records in MP4 format. It records both left and right channel as separate audio. When I imported this file into my Elements Premier 15, it lumped both audio channels into one!  I need to keep the left and right channels separate until burn time then merge into stereo.  Which program should I use to do this? My older version of Premier elements used to do that, but alas no more.

Recently Windows 10 did a major update.  I can still alter photos in Photoshop 14 however when I try to save it I get a message saying it can't be saved as there is not enough RAM.  Is anyone else having this problem? BJ

I had to tweak the speed of some audio by unlinking it from the video and speeding it up a hair. How do I re-link it back to the video?The instructions say that the option should be in the "clip" sub-menu but as you can see that is not the case. How do I do this?

Hi.  I have had Premiere Elements for some time now but never really used it.  I have use for the following and want to know if the Premiere program will do this.  Is it possible to have continuously looped video playing in the background and then have another layer of photos or other objects that will also play on top of this layer?  I have a project to do and need to know if Premiere can handle this.  If so, is there an example or two I can see and how complicated is it to do?  Thank you for any help.Jan

Running Windows 10APE 14 Movie Menu Disappears. I bring up a movie menu and edit it.  I change Play Movie to Play Program, and color it yellow. I also move it and the grey bar up a little.  I replace Movie Title Here with my Title, Running a Small Business. I save all. When I come back my title Running a Small Business is gone and it reverts back to Movie Title Here  But the editing of Play Movie is untouched. Thank you.Cheers! Phil

Me again. Now I have a problem with the sound. I can see it on the time line. I fades in and out as I instructed it to do. The sound came from spitting if off the video (separating it) the video plays but no sound comes out. I have gone and checked the original video - the sound is there as expected. I tried reloading the video and starting again. But no sound!! Help please> many thanks in advance

I load my project, it first come up with a window of which asks to skip, kip all, offline etc etc. I have tried several different buttons. But they all end up the same...loads the project with these red slides with writing on them only.I have spent many days working on my project. I came back to it yest after a couple weeks away. Now it loads only red slides with all different languages over the slides. Something about support media offline. It is on all the slides. The time line works with all the animations, but the pictures have been replaced. I went to the add media window to see the picture I''ve put into the timeline, now that has changed too. two arrows going around  circle and no pictures to be seen.What has happened?? I so far have not been able to use this programme and gotten any good results. Apart for the hours of time and the money, it is doing my head in!! What is wrong with it?

AS title, if I double click on the app premiere opens the start up screen then freezes for a time the I get an error window message saying 'incompatible Display Driver'I found this link but still cant get it to run, Launch issues on Windows 10 Given up" tried so many times so anyone got a positive solution to this.

Hi,To test if the catalog fits before I buy the program, I have downloaded the Premiere Elements 15 test version.When I in "Manage Catalogs " specify location for the catalog, I ca´nt  open it.  Does this not work on test version ?

A second questionAn i7-8650u chip CPU goes from base of 1.9 GHz up to a Turbo Boost of 4.2 GHz.But the min requirement for Elements is 2.0 GHz.Will Premier Elements test for the base  frequency or allow for the Turbo Boost frequency.In other words, will Premiere Elements refuse to run if the base is 1.9 GHz?

Hi,so I use Adobe Premiere Elements 12 on a Mac OS X version 10.7.5. I was editing a project when I got a warning about my start up disk being 'almost full'. I ignored it and continued working. A couple of minuted later elements 'crashed unexpectedly'. I had done a lot of work on that particular project and desperately need to recover it. When I open the project in elements now it shows me the work I had completed the last time I edited the project, but none of the stuff I was doing before the crash.Is it possible to recover the files? Please help!Thank you

In Premiere Elements 10 (for Mac), I'm using the dip-to-black transition to end a short music video.  No matter how long I make the last clip or how long I set for the duration of the transition itself, it dips to black within 15 - 30 frames.  I need a slow, linear-looking fade to black -- on the order of 3 to 4 seconds -- and this seems to be impossible with Premiere Elements.  Even if I make the final clip 5 seconds and make the dip-to-black transition cover the last four seconds of the clip, for example, the screen is invariably completely black well before it even reaches the halfway point of the transition in the timeline.  I've never seen anything like this with other programs.  I see no way to adjust the linearity of the effect -- only the duration and starting and ending percentages.  Has anyone else encountered this and is there a solution...?
