I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 Version 15.0 (20160905.daily.1036636), per the update checker there are no updates for this version that haven't been installed.My computer is an ASUS ROG StrixIntel i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz16GB RAMNVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti  with the 397.64 driver installed which was released on 5/9/18 but wasn't installed until after the Red Screen issue started1TB Hard Drive + 256 GB Solid State DriveWindows 10 Home with the April 2018 update installedI've been editing many videos taken with my GoPro Hero 5 in 2.7K at 60fps (added as .MP4 files) over the past year with this software. From time to time I have playback issues where the video is choppy, or the video gets stuck and then will jump forward to the timeline indicator during video playback. Typically the choppy video and stuck video occurs after the file has been rendered. Had it for over a week now. I'm using it on a nearly new IMac Retina with 16Gb of RAM. No problems with iMovie or any other photographic editor, for that matter.All Premiere Elements does is freeze on me. At every given opportunity, no rhyme or reason, no warning, no consistency. The damn thing just freezes!Can't even work through Adobe's own tutorials without the beach ball of death and having to Force Quit.I've tried everything, turning things off, etc. Downloaded the latest 2018.1 today, and reinstalled. Hurrah! I thought, they are bound to have sorted it. Wrong. It's just the frigging same. Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze, Freeze. That's all it is good at.What is wrong with this software?Anyone got any ideas?

I am using ADOBE Premier Elements 14 to create a VIDEO.  i thought that I could COPY/PASTE (ie IMPORT the files ) from the DISK folder structure to give me isolation from the ORIGINAL SOURCE file so that I could change the names of the folders on the DISK if I wanted to.I have since learned that when you COPY/PASTE a folder from the DISK drive that it does NOT IMPORT the file to give you a separate COPY,  it simply creates a LINK back to the ORIGINAL source file on the DISK, so what is the purpose of having a FOLDER STRUCTURE in the ASSETS tab when you can simply DRAG/DROP a file directly onto the TIMELINE?I think this is a DESIGN error because it BINDS the iMAGE or MOVIE to the DISK folder STRUCTURE which creates ALL sorts of problems if you want to RENAME the SOURCE folders.  If you want to DRAG and DROP directly from the DISK folder, I can understand the HARD BIND with a  LINK but when you COPY and PASTE, it should make a copy and work like an IMPORT so when it b

Hi All, I'm very new to video editing and am struggling a little with this topic lol. I'm essentially trying to edit my GoPro hero 6 in 2.7K 30FPS and edit it in a 2.7K Timeline on Adobe Premier Elements 2018 and then export 1080P at 30FPS. When I drop the 2.7K 30 FPS clip into the timeline the frame size in project settings is showing 3840X2160 which I think is 4k is that correct should it be doing that? Additionally, for some reason if I drop 2.7K 60FPS it shows 1920X1080 and not 2704X1520 (which is 2.7K) or 4K, why is that? Is there a way for it to show the correct frame size? If not is there even a point in filming in 2.7K if it just gets moved back to 1920X1080 for 60FPS? I believe the whole point in filming in 2.7K is to have the higher resolution just in case you want to zoom in or crop etc. correct? Thank you for the help!

Hi, Just upgraded from v13 to v2018 (because lately v13 freezes sometimes.)I blamed the new version of W10 (1803) for that behavior.I tought an update to version 2018 would help, but it's worse now. When I load an old project or start a new one, the program freezes.I can't start playback with space bar or mouse click, nothing happens.Is it  w10 v1803 or something else is wrong?Anyone does have an answer?My PC W10 (v1803) 16Gb

I learned this the hard way, but in case others are considering working on different platforms, here is the current status of cross compatibility (through version 2018). Premiere Elements files (.prel) created on PC will open in Mac (at least after version 15), but not the other way around. When you try to open a Mac .prel file on a PC you get the error - "An unknown error occurred while opening the project." Please note that the part about PC files working on Mac is only my experience and is not guaranteed. Adobe support confirmed that Mac files do not work on PC, but if anyone knows of an exception or a workaround I would love to hear!

I have computer whit Windows 10 Home (64-bit) and the problems is with the program "Adobe Premiere Elements 2018". After the installation i got a error message that it dident work how ever the program kan still lanch upp and it works fine until when i put in some media to the time line.then Premiere loading forevere and nothing heappends and i have to close the program and re start it. but the problem still heappend every time i try.Pls someone have an answer to this problem??? I have a customer who recently started having issues with uploading .mov files into Premiere elements 2015.  He is running windows 7  and had quicktime 7 installed on the PC. I am not sure why these files are not working.Sometimes the audio will upload with a black screen and other times they get the error message that the codec is missing.

Since using the IPhone for B roll for video work the program stalls, stops working, will not save the finished works and just stopped working and just closed!!!!!HAs something changed to the once solid as a rock performance??

I bought Premire Elements 2018 to making video.I made Opening Title and some text by PRIMERE ELEMENTS. and try making video.But this type of error(file importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure..) frequently occur everytime, so I couldn't made video. - Here's my video file's spec : MTS File / 1440 x 1080 / 29.97frame/ - And I wanna make video file as : mp4 file / 1280 x 720 / 30 frame- My computer's spec : WIN 10 64bit / 8gb Ram / Intel core i5-7200U @ 2.50GHzPlease somebody help me. Hello!I completed several projects in Adobe Premiere Elements with videos captured with my gopro 5 and GoPro 6. So I do not regard myself as  a newbie.With my latest project when I try to render and check how it playback looks like, I get a poor playback quality, it is choppy and the file does not render. Some of the files are marked as "green" on the timeline work area bar but most of them are neither green nor röd/orange. They don't have any colour on the WAB! That has never happened to me before.Any ideas how I can get a smoother playback??? I cannot edit!!!!

How can I save my movie in a SEAGATE EXPANSION and not on my hard drive. I don't want to use my hard drive space. There has to be a way to make the Photoshop Elements 14 be the Seagate Expansion default. Please help.

I have created DVD menu but need to go back and change volume of audio, but every time it seems I have to start again? Is there a way to simply re-edit the emnu I have already created?ThanksVince

HiWe have a bunch of Dell 5480 core i5 laptops with 8GB of RAM and using Intel 530 HD Graphics and all have the same problem with attempting to use Elements 15.As soon as you try and launch the video editor it stops working and crashes out.Disable the driver, elements loads fine (albeit messaging about the useless inbuilt graphics).Re-enable the Intel 530, crashes.Its using the latest driver, BIOS is up to date.Could this be a problem with this graphics driver on a Windows 7 64-bit Dell 5480 laptop? Put Elements 15 on an older Toshiba R940 and it works fine!Any ideas?ThanksMark

My harddrive crashed...  all the data files were backed up and then put on a new computer.  After installing the same Elements 10 on new computer I navigate to and try loading a previous project (prel file) and nothing loads.   Any ideas?

I'm using around 80 high res photos (taken from Canon Mark IV) and making a video to be played on DVD (will be shown at a banquet). Once exported the photos look pixelated.  We worked with scaling and tried figuring it out - it appears from some things we've read the settings needed to be changed when we first created the project.  Because I have probably around 10 hours already invested, I'm hoping somebody can tell me what the appropriate settings are for the project so I can start a new one.  I'm using premier elements 11 and adding a few title slides and music. Nothing fancy.  Thanks!

I have a credits roll at the end of my animation. It is set to roll on but not off screen. I want to then fade it a little bit after it stops rolling but the roll stops at the end. I tried using post roll but that doesn't give me any visible time space after the roll stops that I can then fade it. All attempts to fade fade it while it's still coming to it's final position. So I thought of a kludge of making a separate title right after with the exact same content but I've found no way to copy the rolling title final contents over to the new title. Paste just creates a new clone of the rolling title and editing that affects the original. If I just copy the text there's no way to make its alignment perfect as I only seem able to move the text around with the mouse which does not give fine control and the arrow keys don't do any nudging like I'd expect. Is there no straightforward way to fade the title out after it's stopped rolling? I just want the credits to roll into place and then be

I really need help.When I download my video to youtube, it stops at 98% transferred. I then the following message pops up - "Online services encountered an error.
