Premiere Elements

Hi all,I'm so happy to have found this forum, and grateful for any replies I may get. I'm currently undertaking a huge personal project which I've wanted to do for some time. It consists of 90% GoPro footage taken by my friend on a trip. I also plan on filming some interviews on my Canon Rebel EOS T6 and *maybe* some iPhone footage.I'm new to Premiere Elements and understand there are certain settings when starting (?) and finishing a project that optimize the quality. I am not sure what settings my friend was using on the GoPro when he filmed the trip, and I know this is important. I have Premiere Elements 2018 and my concern started when the playback in my timeline appeared 'boxy' and pixelated even the originals are crispy. I have since exported the project and it actually looks pretty good. My end goal is to show the film to audiences and perhaps enter it into a few festivals, so I am unsure of what format I'd need. Premiere Elements 15.  I am using completed, rendered videos made in P.E.15 and burning one series of them to DVD (45 minutes).For the menu, I chose the Pan & Zoom HD template, but substituted a still photo 16x9.  It looks shrunk in the menu, as if it was condensed (not cut) to 4 x 3.  However, in the little thumbnail pictures mid-left, it and the chapter pages look stretched.  When I preview the menu, the photo goes from shrunk to stretched beyond the already wide size, with black bars top & bottom.  The chapter pages are stretched too.I burned the DVD anyway.  As played on a regular old dvd player, the menu was stretched, but the videos played just fine when I turn the widescreen tv to zoom, they showed the same as when rendered on the computer (which is widescreen).But on a Blue Ray player, everything was stretched, menu & videos.  I tried all the available settings (normal, zoom, full zoom, wide zoom), but the videos themselves played

When I start the program at home, it doesn't start. okay I purchased adobe element to create a video news segment for my church project, however the virtual broadcast news packages  I prefer use something called adobe affects. Not sure if I can download those packages and use with adobe element, ,can someone advise on what I can do?

Publishing to 1080 with a 2160 time line fails while the 4k publishing works.Using Premiere 12, I successfully published a 5.7gb MP4 H264 3840x2160 29.97P 30Mbps using the XVAC-S to Computer publish function.  It created the 5.7gb file which I copied to a memory card and played it OK on my 4K UHDTV.  The originals photos and videos clips were 3840x2160.  Premiere input setting were Red Camera 3820x2160; 30 fps non-drop, capture DV; video render:optimize stills.  However, from the same time line, I want to Publish a 1080 file for 1080 TV's and for DVD players that only read 1080.  So I tried to Publish using the AVCHD MP4 1980x1080p 30 command MP4 1080P 30Mbps.  It went through an hour of rendering OK.  But then had a fatal error at 3% when burning to the computer HD.  I tried this twice.  Both times same fatal error.   In the past, this Publishing from 4K to 2K always worked.  However the files were under 4gb.I also tried inp

Hey, I'm directing a huge youtube project in which we're releasing a video every single week. So this is a massive inconvenience. I'm getting red frames in the previews and red frames upon export. I've read a lot about this problem in Premiere Pro but there doesn't seem to be a workaround in Elements. I've tried deleting my media cache but it doesn't make any difference.I need this problem fixed as soon as possible, it's making editing extremely difficult, since I can only do certain videos (some mp4s work fine, others only do the red frame nonsense and I have no idea why).Please help!

I just now started having a problem importing videos using Premiere elements 2018 version 16. I've tried importing .mp4 and .mov videos but they import as audio files. I previously imported similar videos from the same source location without any problems. Can someone provide some suggestions to try? I haven't used Photoshop long so I appreciate as many details as possible. This is my first try at using the forum. Thank you!

Hi there,I have just upgraded from Premiere Elements 14 to 18 becuase I bought a new camera (Panasonic Lumix G80/85). So I'm now recording video in 4k but I keep getting a red screen when editing video footage. Never used to get this using Elements 14, maybe because I'm now recording in 4k. There's is some mention of Unchecking "Enable accelerated Intel h.264 decoding" in Premiere Pro preferences but this option doesn't appear to be avaialble in Premiere Elements. I have checked I have my latest graphics driver (Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600) and beyond that I'm lost. Has anybody else experienced this and found a fix? Would be most grateful as Adobe support don't work on Sundays, understandably.

When opening APE 2018  I get as far as the screen that offers photo editor, organizer, and video editor. Selecting the video editor only results in a blue bar in motion at the bottom of that block. APE  15 opens normally at the same point.

Dear Forum,I am trying to reposition text in my video to an exact pixel location and Transform Text is not working. I right click on text, select Transform -> Position and the pop-up says X position: 0, Y position: 0, which is already odd, as the text is not located in the upper left corner. Then when I enter the pixels I want the text to go to nothing happens. I apologize for my English. The special effect of image stabilization to a 59-minute video clip was selected. After hours of processing the error message, the export is unavailable due to a stabilization error. Software reset, the computer, remove the stabilization effect does not help. There is no stabilization effect on the roller, but if you try to export the same message about the ongoing stabilization or stabilization error with a proposal to eliminate it before exporting. How to fix this image stabilization error in Adobe Premiere Elements? I have a feeling that this error can only be resolved by creating a new project with new editing and the solution to never use stabilization in Adobe Premiere Elements or to switch to using a non-linear video editing program from another manufacturer.

How do I get songs that a purchase from Amazon digital music to play in Photoshop Elements 10?  Some will play and others will not.  They will import to the audio line, but will not play.  Are these encrypted?  If so, how can I get them to work in Adobe products?  If they are encrypted, why is this not disclosed on Amazon so that you can consider this in your buying decision?  Please help me resolve this problem.

I published a 6gb 4K movie, using XAVC, MP4, 3820x2160, , 29.97 frames per second.   The final file properties says 32.3Mbps.   I plan to play it through the USB port on my 4K Sony UHDTV.  What minimum speed and class of memory card should I use that's fast enough but not more than required since I don't want to pay for what I don't need?  Should write speed be a consideration only because I don't want it to take forever to transfer the file to it from my computer?
