Premiere Elements

Hello can anyone help for 2 days 8hrs each I let Adobe support remotely access my laptop to try and get Prem 2018 to launch! They couldn't do it and werebjust ridiculously unhelpful. All it does when I open it to use video editor is go onto the purple loading screen and fail on the quick/or real time installation % part. They just keep saying uninstal and reinstall which doesn't work. When I first got and registered the program it worked fine then all of a sudden stopped.  I run on win 64 and the program is on win 8 but laptop win10. Have trouble shooted it and tried on all versions of window's and I still can't get past the purple loading screen.  Laptop is up-to-up-to-date, HD and plenty of storage Can anyone help?

When I try to backup Elements 12, the software locks up.  If I can't back up the catalog and pictures, I am afraid to even try to upgrade.  I have one catalog and I library of pictures is 145 GB.

I have a Sony 4K camera.The mp4 files are very heavy and my old computer is no more able to work with so heavy files.I make videos (about 1 hour 1/2 and 256 Gb files).What is the best computer configuration (iMac Pro) to work with mp4 files and Adobe Prel 15 :- processor : 8 core is enough ? or more ? (10, 14, 18 ?)- DDR4 : 32 Gb is enough ? or more ? (64, 128 ?)- graphics : Radeon Pro Vega 56 with 8 Gb or Radeon Pro Vega 64 with 16 GbThanks for your answerJack

When I exported a file onto my desktop, Windows Media Player played 75% of the video and then abruptly stopped and said "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file."When I tried it again, it did the same thing, but on the second time, it wouldn't play the file at all.The first time I exported the file, it was over 6GB.  The second time I exported the file, it was only 89MB.So there is a definite problem with exporting the file into MP4 format.  How can I fix this?Thanks!

Hi Everyone,im having a Problem, while editing Videos, where the Picture will get chopped up at irregular intervals and the audio will get desynced.It´s not due to rendering and the choppy Video persists even when i turn it into video file.I´ve tried to adjust the Pre-Settings according to the Videos im using and re-installing.I´ve also tried to contact support but unfortunately they don´t support Elemtents 14 anymore.Has anybody had the same Issue and knows how to fix it?Thanks a lot for reading!

I had to upgrade Win 10 to V1709 but had to uninstall PE 14. Now reinstalled 14.1 but it takes 4 minutes to load. Seems that it is not finding Plug-Ins. Eventually loads and works OK. Why the delay?

When I try to Import a project of 200 clips from the organizer, no matter which video I select first, it's always added to the timeline from newest to oldest. For some reason the selection order has no effect when importing and I can't find the option to reverse the order.

for some reason I cannot upload to any social media. It's frustrating because I paid a good buck for this and I should be dealing with this. Can anyone help?

I like the collage function in Premiere 15, but I do not like the initial transitions (animations) for the video clips.  When transferred to the timeline, I do not see an option for deleting or editing.  Is there a way to get rid of these?

I have did several slideshows in elements and have never had any trouble getting the pictures to completely fill the screen in expert view. Now for some reason I can't make it happen. When I export to a movie it has some black screen around the pictures. Is there something i'm forgetting to do? Thanks in advance for any help.

I was wondering if there is a way to add extra dvd menus to adobe primere elements 15

I went through the forums and made sure that any blocks or copywrites weren't triggered by the file, it's clean and can be opened using a media player and other video editing software like windows MovieMaker. I keep getting "The importer reported a generic error" message and have no idea how to proceed. Can someone please help?

Recently, I've received a copy of APE10 from my grandmother. It works fine, but I'd obviously like to register it. However, I can't sign into my account in the program, and when I try to register it on the Adobe website, it says that my serial number is invalid. I have all of the original install discs and serial number on the back of the DVD case inside the box.If anyone could help me out here, I'd really appreciate it. I just recently upgraded from version 8 to the latest 2018 version of Premier Elements.  I am unable to export to a Bluray.  I know the drive and media work as I was able to do this before in the prior version.  I get the error of "Incompatible Disk".  To answer some questions, here are some specifics about my machine:1. Windows 10 Pro2. Drive is LG WH16NS40.  I also have another DVD drive/burner, which is a Dell DH-16ABS3. I have uninstalled the prior version of Premier Elements before installing 2018When I go to export, I can only select DVD (SD and HD), and cannot find Bluray anywhere with the export panel under Disc.  Any suggestions?

whenever I try to drag a clip to my time ling it becomes transparent and I can see my desktop and windows behind it. I called customer care but they only support premier 15 and 16 while I have elements 10. I'm at a loss and have a project due tomorrow. any help would be appreciated!

can i migrate project from premiere elements 14 to latest version 18?my project in premiere elemenets 14 is not complete, if i will buy lastest version adobe elements 18, can i continue at my project?Thank you

I have an old pre file that worked over the course of several years with PE 11. I now need to re-export the piece I created, but for some reason it will not recognize an mpg file (created on an iPhone 4) that is part of the project. I know the file is good, because I can play it separately with variety of programs.The error message says "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." Between the last time this worked and now, I had serious computer problems and had to reformat C:. Although I had a backup, it's possible I lost some codecs in the process. I just re-installed the K-Lite Mega pack, but that made no difference. I'm 99% certain I had one or two additional codecs (not from K-Lite), but I cannot recall what they were.I have Quicktime (7.7.9) installed.I have looked at the file in question with GSpot, and it says it's an MPEG-2 and that both audio and video codecs are installed.I've even tried opening the pre file with Premiere Pro 2018, but it say

when starting up premier elements 10, i get a message that the Organizer Database is corrupt, it tries to recover it, it can't, tries to Open Catalogue, then says the Catalogue is either corrupt or out of date. premier elements 10 worked fine a few days ago and now this? any help is appreciated.Chris

hope this is the correct forum, i am lost.My elements 15 always worked correctly but now it stops after open a video and try to shorten it (edit) the clip. Have removed the program and reinstalled. I just bought this software and I'm trying to edit a video. When I add a video to the timeline, I don't see a preview. When I click play, I hear the audio of the video but nothing is playing on the preview. All I see is still the welcome message (as shown on the screenshot below). Is there any settings that I need to enable or disable to be able to see the preview? Without the preview, there's no possible way to edit a video.

Hello Forum, after a week of trying ... still getting nowhere.  A few years back I bought a Photoshop/Premiere Elements v.11 from a proper retailer, with discs etc.  It loaded fine.  Now I have upgraded to a SSD on my laptop (Windows 10, i7, 12GB RAM).  Everything else has reloaded fine (Lightroom, PSE 11 from the same disc, etc.), but whatever I try, Premiere Elements will not work.  It seems to install fine, and accepts the serial number off the box etc. ... but when I click on it to open - nothing happens.I have tried disabling AntiVirus, loading from desktop, and other stuff picked up from this website - but no luck.  The upgrade was done by a proper computer shop, with lots of engineers etc., and I could go back to them next time in town.  But is it necessary, or worth it, and what can they do that I can't anyway?  thanks to anyone who reads this

I want to make a slideshow.  I import beautiful photos, I render them, they turn into photos that look like I zoomed too much and got pixels.  Am I missing a step?
