Premiere Elements

In some cases I have to place a small text in a very small and specific location.  Is there a way to increase magnification during text placement?  I know how to increase magnification but it reverts back to normal magnification once i start working with text.  Thank you.

Hi,I installed premiere elements 2018 and trying to add media from my sony dcr hc 85 camcorder. I am not able to see my camcorder under source in the video importer window.I am running windows 10. This worked with the previous version of premiere elements.Can you please let me know the fix?ThanksYVS

I am very frustrated, in the past I was able to zoom in on one face and have fun with it, now when I try the same thing, I get all the faces in the photo which I DON'T want.  I just want to do it manually, not have photoshop decide what I want.  Help!

I am having repeated problems with installing premier elements 15 64bit on my windows 10 PC. It almost reaches the end of the installation process and then stops with an Installation Failed notice and suggests I restart. Restarting does not seem to resolve this problem. Is there any other way to deal with this?

I have downloaded the Premiere Elements 2018 4 times using 3 different browsers. I either get a "Corrupt File" error (IE10) or file will not extract once downloaded ((Firefox & Chrome) . Anyone else having this problem? 

Premier elements and Photoshop 13 no longer work.  When I open the photoshop editor I get the following message that it stopped working after I open it consistently.  I have been successfully using the editor with Windows 10 for over a year.  This seemed to occur after a recent Windows 10 automatic update/fix was installed overnight.   My Elements/Photoshop license came with my Dell 8700 system, so I do not have CDs to reinstall.   Help?[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved... the FAQ space is not where you ask questions... When I open my Premiere and go to edit a picture all the options are for editing movies? I just want to access editor for pictures.

Windows 10 push of v1709 a few days ago breaks PE. No transport, unable to play standard MTS and MP4, missing codec errors. This is with PE projects that worked prior to the upgrade. Reverting Windows back to v1703 resolves the issue. Tested and verified on four different systems by 2 different users.Windows is very insistent about this upgrade - it can be deferred for a little while only.Adobe needs to address this as high priority, ASAP

please can someone help me find a solution. When i want to burn my project to a disc, It will not give me any HD options. only SD (720 x 576 or 720 x 480). I have to burn the disc in HD widescreen, but Adobe Premiere Elements 15 does not give me the option. Is there an upgrade that I need to do or how can I fix the problem.

I've just installed the full version of PE 2018 on another computer and the prores files don't work on mine or the other computer so I've ruled out it being our end. At first I thought it was just the trial being at fault and went ahead and purchased the program, especially as Adobe said they had no problem with this issue.These mov files used to work on both Premiere Elements 13 & 15 but it no longer seems to be the case. I am hoping someone can try a prores file and confirm this.The prores files are HD mov files, 1080 and up to 4k and are common with 3rd party effects/transitions retailers such as rampant design etc. Mov files as you would get from a movie camera work ok.Would love to hear if anyone can get them to display properly (only show as blank green images), they should show light leaks and other effects, as recorded and saved in this HD format. I was able to download both programs on my MacBook Pro within 30 minutes a piece with no problems.  I have not been successful installing them on my Mac Mini.  I checked with Apple and I have all the necessary system requirements.  I also downloaded the newest Sierra software.  I followed adobe's troubleshooting guide--that is: turned off screen saver, turned off firewall and I don't have any Adobe Installers for this series on Applcations-utilities to uninstall.  I keep getting the message that internet stopped responding after attempting the download for several hours.  Anyone out there have a possible solution that I could try.  Thanks, Janet

I am new to adobe premiere elements. The program worked for me a few weeks ago and now when I go to start the program I receive and error message:c:\\windows\systme32\msvcp120.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.I have tried ccleaner for the registry and uninstalling it and reinstalling it but still the same error message.

PE 15 does not recognize the Apple DVD drive - I have contacted Adobe (and Apple, who states this is an Adobe issue) several times about this, as far back as 1 year ago and was told by Adobe that an update would be released eventually. I am therefore very disappointed to see that PE 18 has been released without an accompanying update for this problem.  Why is this??

I am new to Premiere Elements. I have split up my Family Videos into meaningfull Clips, like BirthdayXXXX, XmasYYYY...Now I want to see an overview over allt these clips in a kind of alphabetic or other order. How can I do that?I also like to save all these clips for later retrieval or further keywording in Bridge (or other). Can I do that?I hoped that by importing a PremElem(2018) project into Premiere Pro(2018) I would be able to still see the clips. I can not make that happen. Upon importing into PremPro 2018(Trial), all Clips are gone. There is only one "sequence", but that covers the whole video without breaks.What am I doing wrong?

I installed Adobe premiere elements 14  and am trying to use it.  Now I have .mov,  .m2ts,  avi  video files and I cannot import any of them through   ajouter le media; so what is it that I do not do correctly ?  thanks for any advice, Réjean

I want to compare an edited with an unedited version of the same clip; is it possible to import both and toggle between them? As near as I can tell, if they appear one above the other on the timeline, only one plays. Of course, you can put one after the other, on the same or different tracks, but then it's more difficult to compare.

Premier Elements 2018 was just installed for me by the Adobe helpdesk.  But when I try to open Premier Elements I get the message: "We have detected an incompatible display driver.  To get a better and faster playback performance, please update your display driver. "After that, the program does not open.I have a DELL Inspiron 7559, 8GB ram, Windows 10, Intel HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M. All drivers (Windows and Display adapters) are checked and up to date. DirectX is running version 12.I have re-started the PC, but the issue remains the sameWhat to do?

Hi, I want to export a video for social media. Sadly there is no 1:1 / square format offered in the export options.I can choose a custom format, but then the top/bottom have black bars.Is there a way to work around this and cut off left/right side of the film, so that the middle fills the screen?Thanks!Clemens
