Premiere Elements

I select photos in a Catalog, select Slideshow, nothing happens.

I have PE 13 and using mov files (prores) and the track matte key work as they should but I'm having problems with the trial of PE 2018 as it doesn't seem to like the same mov files and track matte key doesn't work as it should either.If I add a mov file over one of my tracks it just shows transparent straight away without the usual black and white animation it contains.Not sure if the compatibility has gone worse or it's something else. I keep testing the same mov files in PE 13 and all is well.Any ideas?Cheers

Note:  3 questions listed at end of introductionIntroduction:I have Adobe Premier Elements 14.  I am working on a big project that will integrate numerous elements (00's) video clips (mov files ) and still pictures (jpg).  All these elements were taken from 2 cameras:  Iphone SE or a Canon Powershot D10 (for the underwater pics) which are lower res than the Iphone. The Cameras were set for maximum image resolution. To simplify element management I was thinking  of  generating several sub projects with PE14 and creating several computer files (call them "MacroElement"  "ME")  based on grouping subset of jpg's based on common criteria like day or city visited.  Also do the same with groupings of video files.  Each ME in turn would have its own custom duration, transitions, background music and titles.   The main benefit is to make editing simpler on the Master Project and avoid  mistakes that might render a complicated proj

I have Adobe Premier Elements 9 and Photoshop Elements 9 which was pre-installed in a Sony Vaio laptop complete with their serial numbers. How do I these two applications to a new laptop ?

Hi,As the title says, can i copy project from one Premiere Elements 14 timeline to another?I tried copy and then paste but it didn't work. My colleague has been editing some clips together and I now want to add those to my timeline.Thanks,Elliot

I have a Canon Vixia HG21. The videos are on the hard drive of the camera. I plugged it into the computer (Windows 7) and opened Premiere Elements 14. I had to import the videos using Files and Folders import. It loaded the videos into the program but how do I download them onto my computer into a specified folder? I don't want to edit them right now. I just want to put them on my computer to back them up.I tried the backup catalog option but that loaded all kinds of things into a folder plus some photos the program found on my computer. I only want the videos on my camera transferred to my computer to save them and access them when I want.Can Premiere be used just to transfer videos or is it only for editing?

I have edited a year's worth of family videos and put scene markers along the way.  I want to be able to jump right to a certain point in the year based on menu buttons.  I know how to do this for DVDs but I don't want to create a DVD.  I want to be able to do this on my computer.  How can I create and share my family video this way?Using Premiere Elements 15Windows 10steveng69334610

When I try to share a project prepared in Premiere 10, I either receive a message saying "A serious error has occurred, Premiere is shut down" or "SCDisc is containing an error or is not configured for Windows". Error code is 0xc0000020.The problem is relatively new, and I have not changed the system in any conscious way.I can also receive an additional text saying that the "mirroring of the memory is erroneous".I am running an up-to-date versi0on of Windows 10.Any suggestions regarding what I can do?I have tried uninstalling and reloading my program, but the problem is still there.Jan Dahlin

I've just spend an excruciating hour both waiting and trying to talk to support in India.Adobe - don't make the users regret choosing your products.So I loaded the demo, liked what I saw and bought it.After installation I only had 20 musical scores - not the advertised 50+.Essentially support is "oh well..."I was told there's no additional scores available and no way to add any, nor any way to install from the media.Wow.  A product for creatives with so many limits.So heres a few questions I hope folks can help with:Score formatScore location on diskAdding scoresReinstalling scores without the tedious process of uninstalling, and reinstalling the entire product with fingers crossed.Thanks!

Some of my video volume is too low, Elements Volume control only lets me increase to 6db, anyone know how to increase it further?

When I try to edit one of my videoson Adobe Premiere Elements 15 the audio just stops at a certain point for them. I don't get why and there isnt a consistency. I can play the videos from VLC and Windows Media Player without the audio cut appearing, but whenever they're on Adobe Premiere they just appear randomly on the file, even if I clear them from the media slot and put them back onto Adobe. If anyone can help with this i would really appreciate it because i would like to use parts of the videos that are cut out.

Hello,I have what I think is a silly question. I've made a few movies in PE v15 (on a Mac).  After I exported the movies I decided to do some file clean up on my computer (moving video clips to folders).  Now when I open the movie in PE, the clips don't show up.  Is that because I've moved them?  The final rendered and exported movie is still fine. Do the clips have to stay in the same place on your computer.  Doesn't make sense to me.Thanks in advance for any help.

I downloaded the trial version for Mac today.  I was in the middle of editing photos from a Maternity Shoot and Organizer kept shutting down.  Now it won't open at all.  Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it? Or is it a bug that needs to be worked out?  What will happen to my photos?

I've got Nvidia's GeFroce Shadow play that I am using to capture game footage. In the beta version it enables you to record the game audio and microphone audio to separate tracks. However, when I load the video in to Premiere Elements 15 it only sees the one (stereo) audio track (the game sounds). I know it recorded the microphone track because I can see it (and hear it) in VLC media player. How can I get the second audio track into Elements so I can work on the balance?

Whenever I try to compile any video I get the error that is in the title. My premiere is elements 15I already when to the help with errors page.

Hmm...The Elements 2018 upgrade package costs more than I paid for the previous version about a month ago.  I get that upgrades should not be free, it's reasonable to charge something for new features, but more than the entire package one just purchased??Isn't Abobe really saying....Throw away the package you just bought, and buy it again, at a higher price.What am I not getting?

I am having really bad issues with Widows 10 and Photoshop Elements 12. To the point the Elements 12 is not opening properly and therefore not functioning.I have run a compatibility schedule, but that hasn't worked either

Hello, I've held onto a copy I purchased of Premiere Elements 4.0, but upon opening the URL that the launcher is supposed to go to is no longer supported by Adobe. Is there a way to circumnavigate this in launching, I've tried opening the editor directly, running as administrator, etc., but could not get around this incompatibility. If it is not possible to open the program, how would I get a free updated version of Elements, considering Adobe just doesn't support this anymore, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I bought the program expecting it to work. Thank you for your help, community forum and all its constituents!

It's just that. I've tried opening it from the shortcut on my desktop, the pin on my taskbar and from the start menu. It just wont open.. plz help

Привет всем пользователям! Дорогие друзья! Помогите пожалуйста решить проблему. Отснял на веб-камеру видео, но оно получилось с частотой кадров равной 21.4120 в секунду. При загрузке файла в проект уже на начальной стадии, при воспроизведении видео, звук начинает отставать от видео. Точнее я бы сказал, что видео начинает воспроизводиться быстрее, а звук идёт с нормальной скоростью. То есть, это не звук отстаёт от видео, а видео опережает аудио. Я понимаю, что, скорее всего, данная проблема связана с тем, что в моём видео маленькая частота кадров, либо она непостоянная, то есть, переменная. Где-то видео идёт нормально, а где-то убыстряется. Возможно, нет. Я поискал в интернете варианты решения проблемы, но максимум, что нашёл, это то, что можно интерпретировать файл, и там что-то сделать с частотой кадров, но при увеличении частоты у меня звук начинает убыстряться, а при уменьшении, соответственно, замедляться. I am using Premiere Elements 15 and am trying to edit some video shot on my Panasonic camcorder. The video is in MTS format and was shot at 1080p 60fps. It plays just fine outside of PE. I moved the clips to my computer, then imported them into PE. Once imported and available in Project Assets, they play fine when viewing in the Project Assets window. However, when I move them down to the timeline, the audio disappears (the audio track is tied to the video track and still appears, but there is no audio).What is weird is that most of the time, the audio works. In this batch of video, I shot about 6 clips. The first one I brought in worked fine.I tried deleting my video assets (I also have some text assets), saving my project, exiting, then starting over. Same results. I also tried rendering my video thinking the problem might resolve itself during rendering, but the resulting video also has no audio.This seems like a bug in PE 15, but maybe I'm missing something. Either way, does anyone
