Adobe Premier Elements 10PC - WIndows 7 ProfessionalPlenty of RAMI have just starting using Menu with Chapter Pages, but when I upload an image for the the main Menu Page (via Browse), while it looks centered afterimporting into the heart shape, after burning it goes off centre. I have tried creating and using different file types including .jpeg, .pdf, gif, bmp, PSD, and even cropping them differently, e.g. into a square and they all burn similar, off centre, so that the image is partly missing as per example image below. Sometimes there is a black strip on the right hand side within the heart shape and the image is to the left of that, still off centre.  Does anyone know how to fix this problem please?

I can't figure out why it's adding those black edges it's frustrating! I'm still very new, I've done a few videos before, and never encountered this... How do I get it back to regular?

I am having trouble importing audio into Premier Elements 15. I have looked and most of the time when people encounter audio issues it is related to iTunes. I would like it to be known that this has absolutely nothing to with iTunes. This is with voice recorded audio from both a phone, and from my computers voice recorded program (stock program).I am trying to add voice recorded audio to a video. The video works fine. I can import the .mp4 files with no problem, it is the recorded audio that I am trying to add that is causing issues. when I try to import it I get a "The Importer reported a generic error." The files were regularly .m4aI have tried to convert them to .mp3, .wav, etc. Every time I get that error. In all cases the files play fine on my computer, the just wont import. I did try to convert them to .mp4. when I did this it worked; however, I would think other formats should work too.I am using windows 10 and have the xps15 9560 (I think off the top of my head that's the model

I'm rendering a gameplay video that has both the gameplay and a webcam video. I applied the NewBlue Cartoonr Plus effect to the webcam video and my render/save time is absolutely huge. It's a 43 min video and I would normally expect a 1.5-2 hr render time, right now my video is rendering/saving and is at 2% with 6 hours left to go!!!!! Does the cartoon effect really bog everything down this much? Is there a setting or option within element or the effect that will reduce my render time?Thanks,Joe

Hello everyone, I recorded about a 45 minute video with my iPhone yesterday, as well as some photos and other short video clips with my canon 60d. The iPhone is an iPhone 6, the camera was set to 1080p 30 fps. I used Lightroom to import them all (version 6, not CC). Lightroom was able to read the video from my iPhone and import the video into its catalog in the same folder as the other videos from my 60d, which is a Lacie 4tb drive. I'm using a 2011 MacBook Air. Premiere elements 10 can import the 60d videos, but I'm getting the "generic error" when I try to bring in the video from the iPhone. I no longer have the original video on the iPhone, it's deleted. I also tried to duplicate the file, to rename and change the file type to mp4, this did not help premiere elements. Any suggestions?

After adding several videos to the timeline, can you go back and insert an additional video to the very beginning of the timeline, or only at the end of the timeline?

I have PE V08, and have used it for a number of years. Suddenly it randomly drops the audio. I reload the video clips and audio loss turns up elsewhere. I reload the project and the audio returns. But each time I burn the disc the audio drop-out is at a different place. What is going on??

When I go to Organizer and select import from camera and select the camera, and select "Files Ready for Import", a notice "Elements Organizer has stopped working" and the application shuts down.  I have used several versions of Elements and never encountered this error before.  I have also been successfully importing in Win 10 for about a year.  I am mystified.

Premiere elements 15 unloaded two days ago from Adobe, payed 101 euro, received ' version ' for Mac It's a mystery: id adobe sent me serial number and it isn't valid to activate in OS X El Captain,  iMac , ram 18 G. I've tried to install in admin and another user in the same iMac : the same mistake for serial number .May I have another serial number to activate ? It seems it sn't incompatible. I'm in Italy. It's the first time in many years I have a so serious hitch.  It's a wast of money .Please, somebody can help me to solve this problem? greetingsVittoria

Hello.APE 13 has suddenly stopped progressing past the welcome screen.  I can select my projects but trying to open one or select a new project just causes the purple bar to annotate for a few minutes then stop.I read this thread:Re: Premiere Elements 13 Not Opening And:changed my driversrun as adminbut with no success.  I am unable to reset my preferences because I can't get into the program.Please help - I'm in the middle of a project that needs to be finished soon.

I am trying to crop a video clip and then zoom in so that the picture is closer to filling the screen, but I can only get it to zoom in to fill the exact dimensions of the screen, which distorts the image. Is there a way to customize how you zoom? Maybe there is another solution I am looking for, but I just don't know how to find. I'm a complete newbie at working with this stuff, so any help is appreciated!!

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help here.  I have been uploading a number of video projects to do basic editing in (under the quick function).  For a while it was fine in that I could work on them, save and then reopen to continue work at a later date.  I published one of the projects (there are about 6 projects I was working on) to my hard drive and that seemed to go well.  It seems to have transferred the footage (file size id 1.2gb) but now when I go back into any of the video projects all that comes up is the following:When I hit play on the above (and on the player when looking at it via my hard drive), the cursor and everything are moving as though the video is playing but the above is the only visual.  This has happened to all the existing projects.  It has also happened to the video saved to my hard drive.I loaded in a new test project (smaller size) just to test and it seems to be working - the video plays/works fine in Elements and transferre

HI..I have the trial version of Adobe Premier 15.  My workspaces are not appearing correctly.  I have a timeline at the bottom and the viewing screen on top.I have gone to window and the only option is restore workspace....which does nothing.   According to some of the trouble shooting videos i have watched...the windows tab should have more options.   I do not have phone support with the trial version.   So I hope somebody can help...or I am uninstalling this software.(Discussion successfully moved from The Lounge to Premiere Elements)

.A few days ago I installed Adobe Premiere Elements 15 on my PC (Windows 10). I wanted to burn a DVD but unfortunately comes always  the message "no burner available". To your information:  My PC does not have a DVD burner only a Blu-ray burner (LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE BM16NS40). But my burner is detected when burning a Blu-ray. Parallel for this I have installed still my previous element 12 which makes no problems. Whether I burn a DVD or a Blu-ray burner, my burner is always detected.I would like to use some advantages of Elements 15 but unfortunately I can only burn a DVD if I create an ISO image before. The question that is now asked me is, why does Element 12 detected my burner and why not Elements 15?Please be so kind and inform me what I have to do that I can burn a DVD without that I need to create ISO image.Gernot

How to change duration "(00;00;29;29" of background video or audio from the In points to 3 minutes +/- ?

When sending a program to external h/d  for back up only a portion is being transferred over. Where do I look for all the files in that program being copied over?I'm using Premier Elements 12 and an H.P. p/cThanks,Gil

I was checking on things taking up a lot of space on my iMac today and in documents found something that is named:PremiereElements_15_WWEFDJ.dmgThe kind is disk image, last accessed 1/1/17, and the size is 2.11 GB.I have the Adobe Creative Suite but I never use Elements, which I believe is a video editor. I don't even remember ever buying it. Could someone tell me what this is and if I can delete it?Thanks

HelloI want to create a video that just shows a single frame and plays music while that frame is shown.  I want to post it on youtube.  The picture size is 72 KB.  The music is  3.92 MB.  I drag the image so that it stretches out to match the duration of the music in adobe premiere elements.  When I export the size for online sd480 is 63 megabytes.  That's more than 15 times the size of the combined disk space of the picture and the music.  Isn't the adobe premiere elements software smart enough to know that it doesn't have to multiply the size of the picture so much if it is only using one picture?  The size of the exported video should not be more than 4 MB.  Is there a way to export the file so that it produces reasonably sized output?Sincerely,Gamaliel Isaac

In attempting to make hd dvd from mp4 file, the dvd says either not enough space or dvd not blank when I put new dvd in burner.  I can make non hd videos.  Any thoughts?

Hey everyone,Due to a wrong delivery of our software supplier, we've recieved a Photoshop elements license instead of a Premiere Elements license.We really have no purpose for Photoshop Elements, so we'd really like to switch licences. I'm trying out a trial version of Adobe Elements 15. Thank goodness there is a trial version. I tried linking just a few videos to see what would happen. These are mov files. There is no sound whatsoever. Yes, the clips have sound when played elsewhere.Isn't there a really simple fix or a simple answer, e.g. this product doesn't work with mov files? I don't have time for this. I found various help forums where people were directed to go to 3rd party software, delete caches, etc. I shouldn't have to do that. I JUST downloaded the trial software and tried it for the first time. In 2017 it should work "out of the box" for any common video format.Could someone please verify whether this software even works with mov files? If not, I will quickly go elsewhere and uninstall the trial Elements.[Inappropriate language removed by moderator.]

Windows 10, Premiere Elements 14. My objective is to create a forty minute project of stills accompanied with background music and a few effects that can be viewed on most dvd players.I have been unable to export my project to a MPEG format from the .ISO.  Selecting the correct params prior to creating the file and executing the procedure results in a .VOB format every time.  I have removed VLM from the programs and the registry but the result is always a VOB disk.  I have checked the setup and preferences and there is no reference to this format.  The VOB format executes on the dvd player although it is jumpy and fuzzy.  The dvd player is a generic GPX D200B.  I have been able to create .M2TS and .AVCH output which are not recognized by the low end machine.  The output discs are Sony DVD-RW.Attempting to create the .MPEG directly on the disc instead of an image file reports "invalid name".  This topic has been widely discussed on the forum.Has a
