Premiere Elements

I'm having a heck of a time getting time remapping to work smoothly.When I click on a clip > tools > time remapping, it's really hard to find the CTI along my clip within the time remapping view. When I zoom in or out, the clip disappears but the CTI doesn't show up anywhere. As far as I can tell, there's no way to scroll along a clip and look for it within time remapping. When I am able to find the CTI, I am not able to drag it to select more than a few seconds out (even if my clip is much longer).I'm an Elements novice so maybe I'm totally missing something?Thanks!

In Elements 11, is there a way to alter a clip.....so all but a selective color, is left black and white?  Ive looked in FX section,  at various color options but don't see how to do this particular thing.

I have a few small videos which I have created and wish to burn to DVD for TV viewing.My problem is that I can only find a way to burn one and once I have burned it to disc I cannot burn any others, The files are very small and I could fit quite a few onto a disc if it is possible.

This has not happened to me previously in all the time I've been using Premiere Elements 14.With my current project, although I have matched the project and export settings (both 720 x 480), the mp4 file I end up with has all the crops in the wrong place. The project renders correctly in the monitor...and the output preview looks perfect. But the crops in the finished product are very far off. Can anyone troubleshoot this for me?While I expect the problem is some setting, I worry that it could be an Adobe flaw similar to what affected me some months back in Photoshop Elements. That program was suddenly not working correctly - but the reason turned out to be the release of a new version of the software...which automatically screwed up the version I had! Adobe tech support fixed the problem by having me change the name of a file deep in the program!!! How was I supposed to figure that out? So now I'm wondering whether, now that there is an Elements 15, the same kind of thing has happened

Hi , my name is Simon I'm trying to slow down (slowmotion) a clip but i need the sound to slow down too.When i use the time remapping tool it only does the image in slow motion , not the sound.Is there any way to do both together sound and image ?thanks

Hi everyone, Has anyone had, or know a fix to this very strange issue?We have got Premiere Elements 14 deployed onto our Media Suite classroom computers.  They are all windows 10, i7CPU, 16GB RAM ssd, but recently our students have found that if they make changes to a project in Premiere Elements then the changes are not saved, even though it says it has saved.  The file does not get a modified at timestamp update either.As it seems that even though we paid a fortune for this software, we dont get support from Adobe?! which seems nuts, would any of you have any insight into this as I really have no idea and our staff and students are getting understandably stressed.

(PrE 10) Trouble uploading to YouTube.  Stuck at "Categories" in the YouTube Upload window.  Does not display dropdown list....and "Cannot connect to YouTube" errorI suspect the CAUSE of absence of the dropdown list is at the root of my problem.I have successfully uploaded many videos, and occasionally still do.  Sometimes the dropdown list displays after I restart the computer, but not always, and may be irrelevant.

I am using Premier on a Mac desktop.  When I am adding text (which is all I do in the program really) it will suddenly stop  responding.  sometimes I will let it sit and see if it will come back but it doesn't.  Sometimes it completely loses the video that was there, keeping the audio and the text boxes that I added.  I am forced to use "force Quit" every time.  Then I reopen and it is there and fine.  Later it happens again.  Why is this happening and what can I do?

Hi.Is it possible to overlay a Motion Title over a video clip so that the two elements play simultaneously?Every time I drop a Motion Title on to my video timeline, PE15 splits the video asset and inserts the Motion Title in between the two sections it has now created.I then have a bit of video, which stops abruptly to switch to the Motion Title I've created, before it cuts back to the video and continues playback. Obviously, I want the Motion Title to play over the top of the video, simultaneously. I can get this working with the Classic Titles, i.e. the simple text choices. The Motion Titles are much nicer, though, so I'd prefer to use them.I've tried dropping the Motion Title on to the same video track as the video clip; dropping the Motion Title on to a separate video track; and dropping the Motion Title into the video clip in the monitor preview window. I get the same result any way I try it - PE15 splits my video and inserts the Motion Title in between the two freshly chopped vid

It's as simple - and incredibly frustrating - as the title suggests. Yesterday, I was editing a project, rendered the video, put the computer to sleep. Premiere Elements 15 had been fine throughout.Today, I come back to finish the project: PE15 simply WILL NOT start.I click the icon, the splash screen opens, then I can choose the name of my project, or open, or start new project and NOTHING happens.The blue wavy "stuff is happening, honest" bar washes back and forth under the splash screen after I make my selection, but ultimately leads to nothing. I can launch Organizer and see the video assets. Clicking edit in PE from here - same result as above.I can try to launch PE15 from my Applications window, from the Dock, from Launchpad, from Recent Items - anywhere on my Mac. I used my Adobe Premier 14 version to put together a short video and saved it as an MP4 file. I sent the file via dropbox to a friend who complained that the video does not fill the entire screen of his large screen TV. I saved the video as 1440X1080. HelloCan you advise which export settings to use in Premier Elements 9, prior to importing my video to Windows Move Maker, in order to be able to export it as an mp4 suitable for Udemy (which requires Video compression format H.264 on MPEG4, Frame rate 30FPS, Data/bit rate 3000bps, 16:9, 1280x720). Premier Elements 9 doesn't offer mp4 as an export option.Many thanks.

Using Elements Premiere 14, slash key does not slide all clips into view when pressed.  It worked when first installed program.  Have deleted and reinstalled program and still no results.  Same problem is showing up on computer lab where I teach.

Hi all,Just recently pulled out a copy of Premiere Elements 13 I had lying around and tried to use it to edit a video. Everything works smoothly...until I try to render. The moment it tries to do anything, it gives up with the message: "Error compiling movie: Unknown error".I've read through various other threads on this issue, but none of them quite match mine - this is a very short project (1 minute 30 seconds), I do have plenty of disk space, there's not much intermixing of weird file formats (MTS for camcorder video, AVI from After Effects for a single animation), and I did make the necessary sacrifices of Coke and pizza to the computer overlords. I've tried rendering tiny work areas, disabling auto-save...the works. No such luck. Hi,I have recently purchased Elements & Premiere Elements 15.Whilst trying to create an instant movie using my own music of 7 mins 24 secs I noticed that the length of film created is 14 mins 48 secs (i.e. double) and it used the same music twice.Any idea how I can resolve this?ThanksJaymin Vajir

I purchased a new CD (Photoshop/Premiere Elements 15) from Amazon and had no problem installing both on my laptop. Recently I had problems with my laptop so I did a Windows 10 reset. I re-installed both Photoshop and Premiere. The first one installed okay but when installing Premiere it says that my CD is counterfeit, so it would not perform the installation!

Hi Russell here,  am using a trial version of this software to evaluate. Seems to go fine until the end. It appears to go thru the process of burning the disc, says it has burnt the disc but there is nothing on the disc !! Tried both my disc drives now and get the same result. Am using win 7.

I am running windows 7 home premium 64 bit system and have upgraded my graphics card from 2gb GEFORCE GTX640 PCIE to 2gb GEFORCE GTX 750 Ti. Following this upgrade my premiere elements 11 application will not load. Any suggestions why this could be? Also failing all else should I reinstall the premiere elements application or is there a risk that could ruin links to previous movies I've created?RegardsTrevor

Hi, my friends and I recorded Xbox One gameplay through Elgato HD 60 S's.We recorded our Gameplay files and used the Live Commentary File Extraction which separates the commentary and gameplay from each other into separate files.The Gameplay file is a .mp4 which works on fine on Premiere. But the Live Commentary file is in .m4a format and I get an "Importer reported a generic error" message.I'm new to Adobe's product. Hello, So I'm doing an educational video project using video clips which contain both background audio and speech.I have added all the clips I needed in the assets, so when I double-click on a thumbnail to preview the clip, the speech is 100% audible, but when I go to add the clips to the timeline, all audio is audible perfectly, except speech is completely cutout. I haven't done anything that would remove them from my clips, so how is it doing this and how can I get the speech to work in my clips?Thanks in advance
