Premiere Elements

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. I'm trying to use a Text named "06FormalGeneralListRight" I DID figure out how to change the texts but I can NOT figure out how to work with the background. I right and left clicked all over that graphic trying to get the Background field to open up. I don't want that red crap. I want green or brown or something else. Oh and I can't get the "media offline" deleted either. If you know or know of a video I can watch, please share. I'm lost. 😞Please someone help... I know it's me.  gail 

Premiere Elements 2023 was crashing again and again with rendering and with exporting, so I made a new instalation (number five). After downloading I decided to stay in the trialversion this time. To my big surprise everything worked just fine in the trial! But offcourse with a watermark in the exported movie...But than again... After putting the (legal) code in that I got by purchase the crashing started all over!Strange thing is that my previous version is working ok, and never had any problems.It's a shame that there isn't a way to contact a specialist from adobe.

suite à téléchargement de la version 2023 par 'mise à niveau' d'une version précédente, de très nombreux bugs. Je ne peux modifier les 'préférences' de meon projet ? Je peux ajouter un fichier musical venant de ma bibli mais lecture désastreuse, coupée, inaudible etc.. Mêmes effets si je choisi de télécharger 'music' du logiciel quant à la touche 'aide' elle arrive sur une page 'er'roe' ?Bref la cata !Je suis sous windows 11 j'ai fait un 'chat' avec Sabrina qui n'a pu résoudre mes problèmes et j'attend le mail promis.... pour tenter de résoudreSi quelqu'un quelle que part ....

Hallo zusammen!Ich habe Adobe Premiere Elements erst seit kurzem und möchte meine Videos aus dem Urlaub gerne zu einem Film schneiden. Hierzu habe ich zu jeder Stadt einen Titel eingetragen.Bsp.1. Titel Stockholm2. Titel Oslo3. Titel Kopenhagen Als ich das ganze kontrolliert habe, habe ich festgestellt, dass bei allen Titeln dasselbe stande (überschrieben wurde).Nun stand bei Titel 1, 2 und 3 überall Kopenhagen. Als habe ich zu allen 3 eine Vorlage erstellt und möchte nun eine Bewegungstitel-Vorlage die ich erstellt habe bearbeiten bzw. löschen. Ich finde hierzu leider keine Information wie das gehen soll...Ich hoffe, dass mir hier jemand helfen kann...Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Hi, I was offered this trial version by Adobe but so far I am not happy at all, also because the Costumer servic is rubbish so I am ever closer to the 30 days limit and haven't so far been able to really test it! Not sure at all I trust this company anymore! I use it on a Mac Pro Catalina. - If I select a clip it still jumps to video 1, which I was hoping it wouldn't! Is there are away to prevent it? I am forever trying to go back to the clip I am working onand if I forget then video 1 gets changed whithout me noticing it! - A huge problem is that although I have downloaded the recorded sound (I am making a video clip), and the clips I can sync them because the sound of each clip does not download automatically, which is did before. A big black band on the face does will not help the sync either. They give one 30 days to try it out, but then one should be able to work on a real video, and not waste one's time!- When you apply an effect the window seeems to immediatly close, w

Hello, Just installed Premiere Elements 2023 and activated it.  The application now crashes every attempt I make at launching.   I have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling as well as running as admin however it appears to crash when loading importer quicktime.  Any thoughts on the root cause? I have a log labled ".crash" however no method of reading it. 

During playing an edited videoclip in Premiere elements 2020 I see that the clip does not always  play smoothly.As soon as the clip start stto stuttert then I have a look in the Taskmanager of Windows 10 (64 bits) and observe the CPU performance  and Processes table. Firstly I see no problem in the performance graph of the cpu ( i7-3770K @ 3,5 GHz)  when it is running at about 60-70% capacity (mainly due to PRE 2020 but a bit later it is 100% and see that the Adobe Autocreations 2020 proces  takes the rest of the capacity. If the clip has ended with playing then it takes about 10-30% before the Autocreations stops asking such an enormous amount of capacity.Is the Adobe Autocreations 2020 necessary at any time?When I press the Render button, nothing happen. There was nothing to render at that moment.What can I do to avoid that the videoclip is not playing smoothly.

Hi, we have just downloaded the 2023 trial version into a Windows 10 computer, as it wouldn't download on our Mac Catalina anymore (sad that everything evolves so rapidly that even good machines become obsolete!). But we came across a problem, which we didn't have with the 2018 version, but also found on the 2022 trial version, which is: it won't download the sound in MTS, only in MP4, making us convert all the files, which is a bother. Is there anyone who knows why this is? How come newer versions in some respects are worse than the older ones? And it is almost impossible to contact the customer service, so this is costing me a lot of time. If the 2018 version was nott so bad, we would have just gone on using it, but it was dire, so many problems.....    Sadly enough the two newer versions seem to have less transitions and less effects than the 2018 version, something I am not at all happy about! Not sure whether I will buy one of these or whether will just look elsewhere! W

Everytime I render my video or try to say, the program freezes. Any ideas to help me out?

Why would you guys take away the earthquake effect in the 2023 version. Does element use plugins at all or is camera shaking in videos so 2021?

Why does my new copy of Premiere Elements 2023 not have options for transitions?  There's a "more" button, but only has left, right or centre.  No options to reverse transition, ie.) curtains, barn door, etc.Using Win 10 PC.  Everything else is fine.How does one reverse a "barn door" transition?

Dear community,I have a little issue with the play cursor in the timeline. In Premiere Elements 11, when the cursor is playing, I can click the begin of the current clip to trim, and the play stops automatically.A few days ago I upgraded to the version 13 (also not the latest - I know....). Here, when I try to trim while playing, my mouse movement scrubbs instead of trimming. Meaning I first need to stop playing, then I can trim. Is this normal behaviour in the newer programm versions or is it a bug? Is it possible to deactivate it and return to the previous behaviour?Regards, Rick

Premiere Elements 2022 lässt sich nicht mehr öffnen "wurde unerwartet beendet", auch eine erneute Installation half nichts. Photoshop Elements funktioniert noch. Fehlerbericht wurde generiert, hilft mir aber nicht weiter. Hat jemand eine Lösung?

How do I reverse a transition in premiere elements?  My right/click doesn't do anything and I can't save a preset.  Why?  and where should I look?

How to I force Premiere Elements to NOT save my PE projects to OneDrive, and simply save them on my hard drive? Unfortunately, when I delete PE files on OneDrive in order to make more room, it also deletes them on my PC.

Hi there guys, So I'm trying to copy some transitions effects I have put onto 2 clips, onto a new 2 clips of the same length (it's just the same clip but better quality so I want to transfer the effects)So I select the 2 original clips, right click select copy, and then select the 2 other clips and right click select past effects and transitions, but it doesn't transfer the effects, it just doesn't work. why is this happening and how can I fix this? This seems like a bug to me as I'm doing everything right I think 

Where can I get help from someone to tutor me on how to use this program in the simplest sense?  All I want to do is make narrations with a single screen capture in the background and insert clips to comentate on.  I have months and months trying to find someon IRL or tutorials online and can find nothing that specific.  Everything is way too advanced for what I want to do, the tutorials within the program show me nothing on how to do this. 

I purchased Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 2020 on DVD and had them installed on our family PC until the PC died.  I am looking to buy a new laptop that will run these; however, I am concerned that they won't operate on Windows 11 which comes preinstalled on most of the machines I've been looking at.  Based on the comments I've seen on this site, they might run, they might not.   Would it be better to find a laptop that still has Windows 10 and stick with my 2020 discs, OR would it make more sense to get the Windows 11 and upgrade to Elements 22 which apparently is compatible?  And if so, will I be able to upgrade without a full-repurchase? 

Hi all does anyone know what has happened to the undo option in Edit? If I highlght a section by mistake I used to be able and undo it but now this option is not available

Hello,I downloaded Premiere Elements about a year ago and have been using it fairly regularly but I have gotten into some problems with rendering lately.When I try to render just about anything for export the progress bar will pause at a random point. This will make it unable to continue rendering and makes exporting something impossible. The estimated time to completion will continue to decline until it reaches the 5 second mark where it will freeze. If I try to cancel it, it will cancel but from there the timeline freezes. If I try to exit out of the timeline it will crash. The same thing happens if I try to render in the timeline. Additionally, when trying to play back videos in the timeline they will also stop at random, causing me to have to unpause them to continue playback. I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Premiere as well as lowering the rendering resolution. I meet the miniumum requirements for Premiere. I run Windows 11. I have an iRISxe graphics card

Following an edit, which of the Adobe Common folders can I safely delete ... or just the contained files relating to the project?

Please assist to demount my confusion! My projects are compiled and edited, always using copy images, screen clips etc so as to protect original files. I create a folder which also appears in Organiser. Is it OK to delete this folder and from HD without it deleting any originals filed in Pictures and linked in Organiser. It seems that if an edited image (based on copy not original) is deleted then the primary link in Organiser to the original Pictures file image is also removed?    

I have been using Premier Pro and now Premier Elements to edit GoPro footage for my YouTube channel and now all of a sudden I can no longer import any files produced by my camera.  I get the following error message despite not making any changes to the the format my camera is recording: "The Importer Reported a Generic Error"   Is anyone else running into this issue?  It's pretty dissapointing considering I have been using this software for the last 6 years or so for all of my video editing needs.  It seems I might need to find a new editing tool to use unfortunately.
