Adjusting text size & holding in position ?

Between certain videos I cannot apply a transition on the cut. In the attached video there are abnormalities when trying to apply a transition that dont happen with other clips.I could only apply transition to second clip while holding ctrl. I could not apply a center transition, even though each clip had sufficient duration and were connected (The clips snapped to eachother when moved, and thus were connected).I've seen a similar post about this but with premiere pro, and it was solved by using the effects panel, but it appears that elements lacks the panel.How can I fix this?

This should be an easy one to answer. I'm a new Premiere user but I've been creating videos since about 2007 or so. I have installed Premiere Elements 2022. When I first opened the Expert tab there was a panel in the lower left corner that held what appeared to be backgrounds of some sort. They were squares of random designs. Anxious to dig into Premier I closed it, thinking it would be easy enough to open again. I've searched the menus and the community here; no luck.  I don't even know what its purpose was, possibly adding background to a clip.  Any idea where the button is to restore it?  What is its purpose?Thanks

I am using Premier Elements 9 on Windows 10 - and getting the following error while loading a .m2ts file:      This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed.   So I attempted to download Premiere Elements 9.0.1 Updater, but received the following message:      There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.   Could anyone offer advice please?   [Mod: Move to the Premiere Elements forum]

or is just a limited version of Premiere Pro ? for example how to clip a vid? what are the steps?1. 2.3. on twitch youpress clip button > dragdrop slider to start end points > clip 3 stepswhat are steps to clip with this?please list stepslooking for the easiest simplest video editor if this doesnt do this, please let me know if anything else does

Hello...  I am using Premiere Elements 12 (I know... old) but I am trying to create some shape and logo transitions in it so I can export as an idividual file (small vid clips) with a transparent background and use on other projects.  Is that possible in Premiere Elements?  If so what export settings should be used?  I can't seem to figure it out.  I know I can add a green screen in the background and then key it out on the other project but I was hoping to avoid the extra step.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks!

Hello, I’m using Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and seeking solution to two matters: When adding media clips (numbered JPEGs) to the project at the video segment, the clips load but not in number order.  Seeking a recommended solution to have the clips load in number order and a way to edit for the number sequence.Seeking guidance on how to edit the clip duration from the standard 5 seconds to either 4 or 3 to seconds.  Looking to change the clip duration in batch (entire project) verses a few clips at a time. Thank you in advance, Louis.   

Using Premiere Elements 12 to capture video from USB input, 'capture from webcam' selected.  It works fine but only for one to one and a half minutes.  After that, the video continues to play in the capture window, but nothing is captured.   This happens no matter where in the tape I begin so it doesn't appear to have anything to do with the source material.  Is there a timeout setting or something similar that I don't know about?  My setup consists of a Sony TR-7000 camcorder, an AV-to-HDMI converter and an HDMI-to-USB capture device all leading into a USB port on a pretty fast computer. I'd be grateful for any help you could offer. Dennis 

Hi, I just purchased Premiere and Photoshop Elements 2022 PC from Very.co.uk in the Black Friday sale. The adobe site accepted the acctivation code, but when I download the software from the link, I'm sent the Mac DMG files.How do I get the link to the correct downloads? Regards, Simon

I recently upgraded to Premiere Elements 2022. While playing a clip of any length, my iMac Pro crashes. On reboot, the crash report normally says No MacOS data available. On rare occasions, I do get a crash report that lists Elements.app as what was being loaded. Fortunately, there is a workaround. Through Enter Time Machine, I was able to go back a month in my Applications folder, locate Premiere Elements 2021 and reinstall. This is working fine, thank goodness. I did find one Diagnostic report but cannot attach it so I copied and pasted it into a .rtf file. Any suggestions?

Hi, folks Brand new to video editing with P.E.A couple of newbie questions: 1) How do I alter the duration of the title (make it shorter)?2) How do I change the opacity of the title so that it is see-through? (I did it once by accident and remember how I did it!)

I have multiple audio tracks that I am editing in sync to one video track. All of the audio is in sync, it is just when cutting the video it is a struggle to keep everything thing in that synchronised state. There is a "link audio and video tool" which I would use, but it only works with one video and one audio track. There is also a group tool, which does group multiple tracks together, but when you cut the track it remains one big group instead of becoming 2 separate groups as it is with the link tool.Is there any way to have the number of tracks selected as when using the group tool, but also have the functionality of the link tool?

I'm trying to export a 10 gig video to a mp4 so I can upload to YouTube. Seems to be hung at 98% complete. Afraid if I cancel I will have to start again. It's already been about 1 he. Any suggestions 

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 and Premiere Elements 2019.  When I try to edit a clip in premiere, Photoshop elements is not a option.  It wants to install a trial version. ThanksGeorge

Instead of a login page, I receive a message that my operating system or the web browser is not the latest version. It is not true. The problem is only with Premiere Elements 2019 installation. When I try to install Elements 2021, it is without any problem and installation is complete. The issue is in the initiation .exe file for Premiere Elements 2019. Any advice?

I purchased Adobe Premier Elements 2022 for Dell with my new PC. When I open the program, I see a button entitled "Photo Editor". Click on that button opens a sub-window that says "Try Photoshop Elements for Free" with 2 choices, either "install from DVD" or "Download trial" Contacted Dell support and they said that they don't support Adobe software. Can't get an answer from Abode via their computerize support.What the heck did I pay $99.00 for????? Got any suggestions? Thanks for your support.

Hi,  I've just purchased Premiere Elements 2022 and learning the basics already. However there's one thing for now that I cant seem to find.In " Whats New"  it says you should be able to create and crop movies in a social media size 16:9.However I cant find it anywhere...I've tried to make a new project with Project Preset - Portrait. If I then add a video in landscape to my project assets, it seems it's still in landscape mode. I cant seem to crop it and frame it into a portrait size, only resize it but then it remains in landscape. Based on the tips I saw on this forum I thought I did it right. I've googled too and there i found something about the interpret footage, but no luck either.Based on the whats new, it should also be possible, but I can't seem to find how.Can anyone help me? When elements open up, a popup comes up showing you your previous work to import to Organizer, I closed that window, can I recover my work, or do I have to do all that work all over again

I'm new to Premeiere Elements and just started making family movies with the program.  Would I be able to make a video of about 2 hours length using 40 or 50 clips?  Is there stated capacity of this program?  I'm using it on Windows 10 with 16gb of ram if that matters. Thanks.   

Hello, I'm working on an editing project in Premiere Elements 8, and I got an error message: "Audio Filter missing: Internal Volume Stereo." Whatever the problem is, the file cannot be played. I saved an earlier draft of my project, so all is not lost. But I really would like to continue working on this one with the error message. Does anyone have any advice on how I can fix this?

Hi All, I use Premiere Elements 15.I have been trying to burn a blu-ray disc, or ISO file for a week without success. I have had success in the past with short projects, but this particular project is 1hour and 40 minutes long. I suspect that the length of the project may be the culprit, but why would that fail? Is the software only designed to build short projects? The timeline consists of gopro HD footage, canon HD footage, and some still images along with a music track. There are normal basic dissolve transistions, some slo-mo, a basic title,  rolling credits, and menu markers. No audio was used in menu creation. When burning to Blu-ray disc, there is a failure at disc burn after 98%. When trying to burn an ISO file the error occurs 3% into the burn process of the ISO. I cannot create either. I have tried turning hardware accelerator both on and off, with the same errors. I have tried removing menu markers, there are ZERO gaps in the timeline, no other programs a

Hi,I moved from version 2020 to 2022.Opening of my project in with Premiere Elements 2020 took less than 30 seconds.Opening the same project in with Premiere Elements 2022 takes about 5 minutes.I am sure I have proper hardware (processor , RAM, SSD). OS is Windows 10I would be happy if someone has an idea how to improve the loading performance.Thank you.
