Hi, All Looking for some feedback on a new build for work on RED 6k in Premiere & Resolve (see below). A second pair of eyes for any glaring oversights, comparable lower cost alternatives, potential bottlenecks or incompatibility issues would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone can suggest a monitor they personally use and prefer for less than $1500, that would also be greatly appreciated. Can i use a Acer notebook for video editing and rendering HD videos? Intel vore i5 with 8 GB RAM. Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Will it be slow with rendering?Thank you
I'm attempting to export video in Premiere Pro (22.5) and I'm running into an issue where I cannot use the hardware encoding, but I have no idea why. I'm trying to export in H.265 at 3840x2160, 24fps using CBR birate encoding with a target bitrate of 50mbps. Whenever I attempt this I'm told that my "system's hardware does not support hardware acceleration for the current settings." Is there a way to make it so my system is able to do this or am I just out of luck here? My computer's settings are iMac 2020, 3.8 GHz 8-Care Intel Core i7, 40GB of memory, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB graphics card. Thanks for any help you can give!!
Hello, Do monitors exist where I can plug in a USBC cable from my computer into the monitor and have it supply the monitor both power and data? This would be a second monitor for my Apple Studio, so I was hoping for a one cable solution to the second monitor. Thank you
So I recently got a new relatively good PC and ran a premiere pro pugetbench score on it and got some pretty lackluster results so was wondering if anyone had an idea how to make it better. Hi...I'm planning to create a VR module with a 360 camera. Any suggestions for brand of camera with good spesification?
A lot of people think a new Mac Pro will arrive later this year. As Premiere Pro users would you folks like to see Apple's latest desk top with an Alder Lake CPU or an M2 chip? Should it be smaller than the 2019 Mac Pro? Just curious about other people's thoughts.
Will Premiere Pro work well in Core i3-10th/11th gen? I currently use i5-7th and for normal 4K videos I'm satisfied, but now planning for an upgrade under budget. Please guide me
Hi all! I’m in the process of getting a PC built. I’ve been trawling the forums and Youtube and have come to deciding between 2 builds (attached). Any advice would be helpful! I’d say my usage would be 50% Premiere Pro, 25% Touchdesigner and 25% Blender. When it comes to Premiere, I create a lot of music videos which are usually very effects-laden. I regularly edit 4k footage but have already gotten used to a proxy workflow. I am trying to strike a balance between seamless real-time performance and improved render/export times. Keep in mind, I live in Vietnam, so some components are hard to come by or severely over-priced. Thanks in advance!
Two-and-a-half months ago, I upgraded the guts of my longtime main PC from a 4th-Generation Intel i7-4790K quad-core CPU to an AMD Ryzen R7 3800X CPU. I have since added a 500 GB Samsung 970 EVO Plus m.2 NVMe SSD to that PC, but remained saddled with a GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB card that I have had for almost three years. Today, I have just upgraded that - to a GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB card. Before I installed it, I moved the GTX 1060 to my spare miniITX PC that still has a 7th-Generation Intel i7-7700 CPU. I then ran the "Standard" preset of the Puget Systems' Premiere Pro benchmark on that PC with both a GTX 1050 Ti I had in there before and the GTX 1060. The GTX 1060 made only a slight improvement in the overall score over the GTX 1050 Ti with that quad-core CPU, with overall scores of between 340 and 352 with either of those GPUs. When I ran the Puget tests on my recently upgraded main PC (still with the GTX 1060), it scored a rather poor 518 using the "Standard" preset. A
I have a MacBookPro16 my company gave me so I could work remotely. I have a hobby of editing videos with Adobe Premiere Pro and recording songs with GarageBand, for which I have been using my MBP, but would prefer to use alternate hardware so my work & hobby are kept separate. — What hardware do you recommend? I would prefer something fast with a lot of storage (portability not important but a plus). Can you tell me the pros & cons of these options?: 1) MacStudio, 2) MacMini, 3) MacBookPro13, or 4) an external high-speed Thunderbolt-3 hard drive plugged into my MBP. How much RAM (gb) & hard drive (tb) storage do I need? Thanks.
Hey Folks. I don't get it... I try to output a 5.1 mix via HDMI (Multichannel PCM) from my MacOS Premiere timeline. In my world timeline track 1 mono should be channel 1 on my HDMI stream, track 2 mono on channel 2, ... Like editing to tape via SDI in olt times. But how!?There are so many settings: audio preferences, audio hardware preferences, timeline track settings, 5.1 channel assgnment, multitrack and so on. The Decklink HDMI output is connected to my AVR.Any ideas? Resolve works fine with the same hardware setup btw. But now I need it for Premiere. So, my questions:How to setup preferencesHow to setup timelineHow to setup track mixerThanks a lot!

Hi there, I have a problem in Premiere 2022. When i add Cross dissolve to clips, sometimes it will act like a dip to black. There was someone that had the same problem from 2017 in this community but the solution that worked on her and the others didn't work for me. Tried turning off 'Composite in Linear Color' in Sequence Settings and it didn't work.
I'm still using the PC I built about 2 years ago, based on i9 9900K processor and ASUS 390A Motherboard.Quick spec of machine :CPU is overclocked and locked to 5GHz on all 8 cores - water cooledSamsung EVO NvME drivesRTX 2070 Super GPU64GB DDR4 3200Mhz Corsair Vengeance MemorySo - in general now I am editing in 4K 50fps most of the time and this machine is working well.No need at all for proxies. An area I want to speed up is rendering though. The slow bit is when the timeline gets to some types of MOGRTs.I am asking a lot from the machne as I am using a hybrid Pro-Res master generation approach where all Previews are rendered in Pro Res so I can generate a fast Pro-Res master afterwards, using the previews during export.Looking at the Task monitor during rendering in Windows 64 bit - the CPU is only at approx 47 to 49% and the GPU idling along at 19%.No other major tasks appear to be running. Cache cleaned regularly and Cache sits on a separate fast SATA drive away from system dri
Hello I want to buy a laptop for adobe Premiere Pro. I have a two options and I need to make a decision. This one or 2) i5 8th generation 12 gb Ram and 500gb harddrive Hp ? Which one would you recommend for videos? Not sure if the camera I have matters but I have a Canon EOS R.
Hello i recently build my new pc with ryzen 3700, asus tuf b550 and 32gb ram. I had a gtx 760 card till yesterday, with some limitations but i could use it. Today i finally got the 1070..and it is worste! The video (form xt3, 4k, h265) don't play at all, they are just freezed.I installed the latest STUDIO driver of the 1070any idea?thanks
HiI am mostly editing HD and 4K footage - SONY, PANASONIC, RED etc. I do the grading in Premiere PRO, sometimes use After Effects. If i buy the cpu ryzen threaddeeper pro 5995wx with 64 core and 128 thread, now, does premiere pro uses all 64 cores of this cpu, and will the rendering be faster than using 12900ks? Thanks for your reply
I need a low-profile video card for a Dell 7010 i7 computer. I know that it is not a great computer to use, but it is all I have. Does anyone know what boards I can use with Adobe Premiere Pro 2017. I'm not making movies, just 30-second videos. Time rendering is not a problem for me. I would like to find something around $200 (even a used card). I found a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Low Profile 4gb Video card for $163 on NewEgg. Would that work, or is there something better for the money? I have 16gb worth of ram on the computer and it is an i7 processor. Any help would really be appreciated. I'm on a very tight budget. I may be able to go a little extra, maybe $250-300. But it needs to be a low-profile board that will fit the computer. Thanks so much for any help. I'm new to this.
We are buying some new computers and wondering if the M1 chips are worth the price and also if there are significant speed increases between the "max" to the "ultra versions
I use Premier Pro a lot, but only have a laptop. Considering buying a monitor to omprove the experience. Can anyone advise me on a spec (or even a specific model available in the UK) which would be good for this. Constraints are that my budget is NOT unlimited, and that I will from time to time need to move the monitor between rooms, so weight is a factor.Any advice gratefully received, thanks
