Hi, My current laptop isn't capable of editing the things I want in premiere pro. For example: my computer keeps crashing when I try to export my project. This is why I want to buy a new macbook. I have been wanting a macbook for years, so I won't go for a windows computer.I am really impressed with the macbook pro M1 performances, but I heard the M1 macbooks don't really work that good with premiere pro. I know there is a beta version out now. I was very curious if it's worth it to buy a macbook M1 when I want to edit in premiere pro. And if it doesn't work perfect now with premiere pro, are there any chances that it will work really good in the near future? Just a side note: if I buy the macbook pro M1, I will buy the version with 16GB memory and 512GB SSD.Or is it saver to go with the macbook pro 16", with i7-processor, from 2019? I really hope that people have some advice for me.

Hi all, I can't find any note or information about GPU usage when using Mercury Transmit.Does someone can give me more infos on how Mercury Transmit works ?
Hey guys! I have a 2013 Macbook pro that I am using for premiere and animate. My computer is quite dated so whenever I edit 4k footage or try to animate in 4k I experience major lag or crashing. That being said, I'm looking for a new computer. I've been with Mac for some time now but I'm not sure if I should switch to building my own PC or get the latest IMac. I'm also unsure of what computer specs are needed to seamlessly work with 4k footage and animation files that wouldn't be an overkill. Please give me some opinions, spec recommendations! I'm a newb and need your brain juices.

Last month I built myself a computer based on the ASUS Prime Z490-P motherboardThis month I built one for my wife with the same motherboard... i9 for me i7 for her Both of us immediately noticed problems with our wireless mice... she has a Logitech trackball, I have tried two keyboard mouse combinations... one Logitech and one MicrosoftAll 3 wireless mice are VERY jerky... which I first thought was due to the new computers being so much faster than our old computers, that I tried to fix the problem by lowering our cursor speed from 10 down to 4 which helped "some" but did not fix the problemI had an old wired mouse in my spare parts box so I took the battery out of my wireless mouse and pluged the wired mouse into a USB port... problem solvedI Googled and found ZERO hits for "ASUS Prime Z490-P wireless mouse problem" so this is a real oddity... but at least my mouse is working now that I've removed the wireless mouse and went back to an old USB wired mouse

Premiere Pro runs better with GeForce rather than AMD Radon video cards. Are GeForce video cards made by for example MSI as good for Premiere Pro as are Nvidia video cards. Is it worth buying an MSI GeForce 3070 over a Nvidia GeForce 3070 depending on price alone?
Hey Pros. We are looking to upgrade our 2012 IMac(it's our secondary computer) to the new 2020 5K IMac. We have a Puget Systems PC as our main computer, but like to have a Apple on hand just in case.We thought of buying it with a :-10 core processor-Radeon Pro 5700 XT with 16GB of GDDR6 memory-2TB storage-adding 64GB memory(OWC btw) I cannot find any reviews with the computer running Premiere(only DaVinci and FCX). Please advise if this machine will work efficiently with Premiere and any specs on hardware would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Jim

Hello, I would like to buy a new Macbook Pro for my work. So I would like to know, whether I should waitfor the Macbook 16" with the M1X - CPU or should I buy a Macbook with an Intel i9 processor? I work with 4k material and use often after effects. So is there anyone with an recommendation? Do you work with an Macbook and have any experience with the M1 - Chip?Best Regards Max
Hi! I'm buying a mid-budget laptop to edit 15 to 20 minute 4k videos. No special or complex video efects. Just a chroma key and some text, transitions... Most 15'' laptops that range from $1100 to $1300 come with the Intel Core i7-10750H . I'm particularly interested in a msi Intel Core i7-10750H , 16Gb Ram, 1tb ssd an Nvidia 1660 ti 4gb. But I'm afraid that 6 cores could eventually fall short. I read somewere that 8 cores would be the minimum for good performance. What do you think? Should this be enough? I also saw an Asus that comes with a Ryzen 7 (this one is 8 CORE), 16Gb Ram, 1tb ssd an Nvidia 1660 ti 4gb. But I'm not impresses with a lot of reviews that complain about the fans loud noise. Thanks in advance for any help. Francis
In a recent Windows 10 update, I found this unchecked graphic settings section: Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics Settings Is this required to assist PPro and AE work better for GPU hardward acceleration? I pulled up a few blogs, and read that it might be a 'beta version' as they are still working out the kinks ? Thanks for you thoughts on this one, Letty my system Ryzen 7 , 32gb , gtx1050ti , bunch of SSDs, cuda and hardware accel enabled.

Hi, My motherboard has only one M.2 socket, and I'm thinking of putting one more SSD on my desktop. So it would be one M.2 SSD and one SATA III SSD. One for the OS and one for handling Premiere's cache files (the media files, for the moment, would continue on the HDD until I have the money for getting a third SATA III SSD. My question is, which SSD would fit bedt for handling the OS and which for the cache files? The faster M.2 or the slower SATA III? My specs:Intel i7 4770kGeforce 1060 Ti32gb ram Thanks!
