Question

"Add attachment" button is not working in Adobe Reader after editing the form in Adobe Livecycle but it works fine in Adobe Acrobat Pro?

OS: Windows 8.1 Enterprise

Product: Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES4

Product Version: 11.0.0.20130303.1.892433

File version: 1100.3062.1.0

Copyright year: 2003-2012

I added a button to allow end user to upload file to their PDF document. The add attachment button is only working on Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. When, the user tried to upload or even click on the button using Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.20 nothing is happening; the button does not work.

I tried to save it in Adobe Acrobat by following these steps:

File --> Save as Other --> Reader Extended PDF --> 3 choices: 1. Enable adding text… | 2. Enable Commenting and Measuring  | 3. Enable More tools

I tried to save as and I picked all three choices and tried to test the form again using Adobe Reader XI version 11.0.20 is still won’t allow me to upload file when I click on the attachment button.

I am looking forward for your assistance and help on this one.

Thank you,

You must add form rights with LiveCycle Reader Extensions.

I don't know. Look at the documentation of this server product.
