I got a new work laptop with Windows 11 Pro Installed.

I downloaded and installed Acrobat Reader DC Version 2022.001.20085 | 64-bit

When trying to Sign In 2 Blank sign in Windows Pops up, saying not responding.

Then the windows both close and Acrobat Reader Crashes.

Downloaded and reinstalled Acrobat Reader again.

Tried the Repair Function twice.

Tried Chatting to support with no solution. Please can anybody help as I am unable to sign into my account to use my digital signature...

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

This issue is already reported to our engineering team for fix.  We will share the update as soon as we get any news from them.

As a workaround, please try to remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer once, and reinstall the 32-bit version of the application using the link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

To stop the Acrobat Reader DC 32-bit application from automatically upgrading to the 64-bit version, create the following registry key before the first launch of the application as described in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/about-acrobat-reader-dc-migration-to-64-bit.html and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal

Amal,

Thank you for the assistance. The solution worked like a charm and I did not have to create a registry key.

Just out of curiosity, could you let me know when the 64bit version is fixed so I can reinstall that one again?

Or is there not a big difference between the two?

Regards

Amal,

Sorry, but I saw I was a bit premature, My Acrobat Reader was automatically upgraded to 64 bit... So I'll have to restart the process again with the registry key.
