I am trying to open a document from a government website but can’t. It asks for Adobe Reader 8 or higher and i have just downloaded it from the Apps store.

    1. Do NOT get Reader from the Microsoft App store. That's not Acrobat Reader, it's a different and obsolete product called Acrobat Reader Touch, which can't open these files. Go to http://get.adobe.com/reader . It's a pity this old software is still out there, but it's needed by people with some old versions of Windows RT.

    2. You get this message if you try to open some forms in a web  browser. If you see the message, download the current file to your desktop, then open the download in Reader. Let us know if you need help with that, telling us your system and browser.
