We have a very old application which creates PDF files to be signed by our users in Adobe Acrobat Reader.  We updated the application on Jan 9, 2023 to utilize the new Adobe CA, and 90% of our customers were able to continue using our application with no issue.  However, we do have some customers who receive the following error when they try to sign a document: This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The document has been changed since it was create and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document. We have confirmed the document did not change.  We can take the same document to another PC and sign the file without issue.  Customer's with the issue experience it with all files they attempt to sign from us.  Based primarily off the timing of the issue (it began the day the Root CA expired), it seems clear that this particular issue is related to the CA chang

Dear Community, We have been using Adobe LiveCycle Desigenr ES4 11.0.1.20130826.2.901444 to create Dynamic XML forms and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 to extend them so they can be edited and saved in Acrobat Reader.In Acrobat, File menu > Save as Other > Reader Extended PDF > Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save)... is used for this.Since January 7, 2023 we haven't been able to use this feature. Hi, My question is related to this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/acrobat/apsb23-01.html.What is the latest version number and download that doesn't have any vulnerabilities as stated in the article?  

The new update keeps prompting users for which email client they want to "send as attachment" with.  In our case the choices are Outlook or Webmail.  In previous versions users were able to choose Outlook and check a box to remember their choice.  The checkbox seems to have disappeared in the redesign.  Will this be addressed in a new release?  Is there any way around this?Thanks

Hello,I have a pdf with Table of Contents as the first page. But the same doesn't and there is no option to view the same in Navigation Pane, as well. I want the same to show also in the Navigation Pane.I only have Adobe Reader, is it possible with the same? If not any other resource barring Acrobat to achieve the same? Thanks,Anand

It was able to recognize the text, but when I copy it comes out as this:;!'l#!:~ - ~~-~fL~Fi'-ivYiJtM ~*4~-=f - ~B<J:Jc~B~i'-ivYl4~1iz;J'l#!:, *m•~ Any ideas on how to get it to work so that I can use google translate?Recognize text is a must as the text is originally image in the PDF. I have attached the PDF I'm talking about. Every time that I use the Help Menu in Photoshop on my Windows PC, it will not close when I click out of it. It is not frozen per se, because I can still use it to search for things, it just will not go away. Also, the home and top arrow icons are not highlighted after I complete a search.  The only way to get rid of the Help Menu is to completely close out of Photoshop and go back into it. I still want to be able to use it, as well as other pop-ups, so I do not want them all disabled. Thank you.

Suddenly I get an error message and cannot print from a pdf document that I printed from yesterday.Error messge:  "Can't open "/private/var/spool/cups/tmp/..."

Hello, Installation of Acrobad Reader that is retrieved via https://get.adobe.com/reader/ keeps failing on windows 10 - pro version 22H2 - 19045.2546.Installer indicates that already a newer version was installed. As shown below. I ussed Adobe cleaning tool ; reinstalled it but always the same result.  I updated C++ redistributions as adviced in some post but no improvement.I digged deeper an found from log  that the setup program return an error code. When starting the setup manual I got the error belowThe message says there are not enough rights (even running as admin) but the fact is that directory doesn't exists. Comment puis-je corriger le problème , je viens juste de prendre un abonnement en payant à chaque mois depuis décembre.Quand je veux sauvegarder un formulaire complété en PDF, impossible et on me répond Erreur 105 impossible de sauvegarder, sauvegarder dans un autre dossier. I try to sign my PDF documents, but I always have this error message (the author of this form has indicated the fields that you can fill in. Click on a field to start filling in the form.)

Hi,I tried to use the signing feature of Acrobat Reader DC, which told me that a signed read-only file will be created.Now it seems to be somewhere in the cloud. It was not saved locally, instead a link is provided.Where can I manage/delete some these files? CheersTony

Dear Adobe Support Team, Greetings, I would like to report one problem I witnessed with Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader. The screenshots are in the attachment. When I try to rename the file prior to the downloading process it does not allow me to name the file longer. After that, I just download the file as the system suggests and then change the name of the file, open it, highlight the text and close it. After I try to reopen it works. But when I copy&paste the file to another folder the error occurs. Also, another issue. If I saved the file with a short name in some folder and highlight the text and then try to name the file with a longer one, it does not allow me.

Wenn ich eine PDF Datei per Mail versendet möchte kommt immer das "Beim senden von Nachrichten ein Fehler aufgetreten ist" Ich habe den Adobe schon neu installiert, ebenso habe ich Updates gemacht. Ich habe Outlook als Standard Mail-Hinzugefügt, Regedit überprüft. Online Microsoft überprüfung gestartet.   Lieber Grüße Faical

In acrobat reader, a new "edit a pdf" option has appeared in right-click context box -- how to remove?  Since i never use this option, i don't want it in the box that appears when i have highklighted some text and want to highlight or underline it.  Is there any way to remove this new addition to that box?      Thank you so much for your help!

Hi, Acrobat Reader periodically opens over the top of all open applications. This occurs even when the application is not even open. I have observed this behaviour on multiple machines (all with Creative Cloud and at least one I think with Acrobat Pro installed). The app is stealing focus when it does this, and hanging around for an inordinately long length of time while it loads a bunch of previous PDFs or something. This is beyond infuriating for an application that I JUST use to read PDF files(!). I can't put up with this and will be uninstalling Acrobat Reader and switching to something else, unless somebody happens to know a solution to this issue? regardsDavid

I have a locked file that I need to upload to a website and want to save an unlocked version.  I can open the file and save it but everytime I save it, it is password protected. 

I got the premium membership by mistake and it activated itself after the free trial.it started one day. Can I block it and get a refund? if so how?

When I add text to a pdf file, it is invisible because the color of the text is white. I don't know how that happened & I see no capability to change the color back to black. Where is the field that allows me to change the color of text that I add to a pdf file???

Bjr, Je suis abonnée Acrobat Reader DC et depuis à priori (car je n'ai pas noté la date) la MAJ de Windows 10 en mai dernier, je ne peux travailler sur Acrobat Reader DC qu'en lançant le mode administrateur. Mon compte est désigné comme administrateur sur mon PC, mais lorsque je clique sur un document en PDF rien ne se passe, je dois aller sur l'icône du programme Acrobat, faire un clic droit et cliquer sur " ouvrir en mode administrateur"J'ai un peu de temps aujourd'hui pour tenter de le réparer mais j'ai besoin de votre aide. Comment faire pour solutionner ce problème et enfin pouvoir lire mes PDF comme je le faisais avant simplement en cliquant dessus.Merci à vous tous.Véronique

Since a bit more than a week, suddenly in Windows 10 Explorer preview, pdf's don't show up anymore.What can I do to get them displayed again?Many thanks in advance for your help.
