Good day,Whenever I select an Adobe PDF file (not actually opening it) or if I actuall do open it, I always get this delaying error display: "The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x0041240b". If it displays the error if you click Cancel, or Ok, it closes the PDF, and you need to reopen it, at which the second attempt it does not display the error message. Anyone have an idea what may be causing this?OS: Windows XP SP2Adobe Reader Version: 11.0.0.6 (be advised that this problem has be persistent in many versions since V10.00)

Hi all, Can someone maybe help me. I have added a button to a form to send the PDF to an email address. Everything works as well. But I would like to customize the text of the email. Is that somehow possible. Thank You in advance and best regards,Thomas  

Hoping someone/anyone can shed some light on this for me... I have a requirement to deploy Adobe Reader version 11.0.21 at work, we need to use this version because our current HR system only allows certainly management functionality to work on this version. Anything newer and it falls over.  I know that version 11.0.21 wasn't availalbe as an install so im trying to install Adobe Reader 11.0 and on the command line have it install the patch at the same time. I can't get this to work, i've tried to run the following examples:msiexec /a acroread.msi /p AdbeRdrUpd11021_MUI.mspmsiexec.exe /i "%~dp0AcroRead.msi" PATCH="%~dp0AdbeRdrUpd11021_MUI.msp" Does anyone have any ideas? 

Bonjour,   Depuis quelques mois je suis dans une impasse... Quand j'ouvre un formulaire (notamment des CERFA) ce message (en titre) s'affiche (2 fois) avant l'ouverture du fichier. Une fois ouvert, je ne peux pas remplir les cases du formulaire (sauf celles avec des chiffres, type date de naissance). Les rares fois où cela fonctionne c'est quand j'ouvre un autre fichier pdf avant (autre qu'un formulaire) que je le laisse ouvert et qu'ensuite j'ouvre un CERFA.   L'alternance que j'ai trouvé c'est d'ouvrir le formulaire via mon interface internet mais je trouve cela moins pratique que par adobe acrobat reader (j'ai la version gratuite). J'ai desinstallé et réinstallé le logiciel, mais ça fonctionne que temporairement !   Si vous avez des solutions je suis preneuse, Par avance merci !

Is there a simple way to locate the product serial number for the software currently installed on my computer? IT installed the upgrade to Pro 2020 onto my desktop when I moved to my new office.  I'd like to register the software as I did with the previous Acrobat Professional 17 software so I can activate it on my laptop for remote working.  It would be great if I could do this without having to bug our overworked IT department, but the software seems determined to make this unnecessarily difficult to impossible so far.

Hello, i am sorry if this question has been asked 1 million times alreadyBut i am currently using the adope reader dc (free) and i want to change the default icon to show the first page of the pdf.Because  currently have a folder with cookbooks that all have very similar names, so sort and search by name is pretty hard for me.When i googled this problem, the only solution i found was on windows 7 and didnt work anymore, but for example if you send pdf per whatsapp they just show the first page by default, is it possible to do this in windows 10 too?Many thanks

Hello.We have a problem with the version of Adobe reader (2021.011.20039) we use now together with our businesssystem. We use it to read invoices amongst other things. our businesssystem is old and no more updates to it. and adobe constantly updates. so what is the oldest version we can run on a windows 2016 server?and where can I download it?

I am unable to close Adobe Reader and this has created problems in shutting down my computer. Also, I can't open pdfs neither uninstall the app and reinstall it. Hope to get genuine help on this matter.

I recently updated my Toshiba laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and now my Adobe Reader refuses to open and I have lost all my files!! I Uninstaller it and reinstalled but it keeps saying that it needs some sort of update for it to work. I have no idea what I need to do!

Hallo Community,ich habe mir mit LibreOffice (Version 7.0.6.2) ein Formular gebastelt, dass anschließend als PDF-Formular exportiert wird.So weit, so gut. Verwendet wird diese Formular bei tschechischen Kunden, deren Kundendaten bereits in einer postgres-Tabelle gespeichert sind (z. B. : Pěščřžýáíéú Sědlák) und beim (programmseitigen) Öffnen des Formulars (z. B. mit Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.011.20039 oder Microsoft Edge-Browser) bereits eingetragen wird (wahrscheinlich über ein fdf-File). Und jetzt wird's spannend! Hier wird der Name nämlich zuerst einmal ganz anderes angezeigt: Pšáíéú Sdlák. Erst wenn man in das Feld zum Editieren klickt, dann erscheint der korrekte Name (und bleibt dann anschließend auch so)!?!?Nun bin ich ziemlich ratlos, was dafür der genaue Grund ist, und wie sichergestellt werden kann, dass der Name gleich nach dem Öffnen korrekt angezeigt wird.Verwendet wird aktuell einfach die Schriftart Arial (Standard). Übrigens: JavaScript ist

Immer wieder kommt es vor, dass ich beim Öffnen einer normalen PDF im Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2019.012.20040) die Fehlermeldung "Nicht genügend Speicher." erhalte, obwohl ich ausreichen RAM zur Verfügung habe. Wenn ich das PDF hingegen mit dem Acrobat Pro DC öffne funktioniert es.Woran kann das liegen?

Hi,I just upgaded Adobe Acrobat to the current version, 9.3.2 organization-wide about a week ago. Since then, a handful of people (4 users out of 40) are having an issue where they cannot save PDF documents to a network drive. They get the following error:"The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk."However, they can save the file locally and drag it over to the desired network share.Can anyone tell me what this is about? I've searched online but haven't found anything useful. It doesn't make sense that most computers are able to save to a network share and others aren't - any help is appreciated!Thanks

Pop-up windows appear every time you run a program.If you update and reboot, it's the same thing. How do you fix it?

 I'm having a problem with Acrobat DC Reader Version: 22.1.20085.0  cannot open new PDF files until I close the current PDF, and it also won't let me save the PDF. I also notice that there are horizontal black lines on the PDF document, but they or not present if I print the PDF document. I have tried to repair the installation and uninstall  reinstall Acrobat DC, but the problem comes back I'm using Windows 10 Pro Any Help would be Appreciated  

I want to enable & validate both English & Arabic characters in PDF FORM fields using Adobe JavaScript. i am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Validations (mandatoryspecial character/Alphanumeric Speical Character etc) etc are required. Also we need to set Arabic Characters  as encoded mode in barcode field as well.

Does Adobe Reader have a Classic Track anymore?    Specifically, is there a base installer for Adobe Reader Classic Track 64bit for Windows?  If so, where can it be downloaded for corporate distribution?   I have already applied and received the location for Adobe Reader DC (Continuous Track) 64bit, but cannot find anything for Classic Track.

I want to use Adobe Acrobat DC free trial version. I found 7 day free tiral version of the same but on clicking Start Free Trial Button I am being asked the payment details. 

i am not able to use adobe acrobat reader dc as it does't shows any option in tools option beside the home option, in home also some options are not displayed properly, and when i click on perefernces it appears on large font size or sometimes it shows blank, reader freezes when i click on close button of it. i tried uninstalling more than 20 times, i tried uninstalling with adobe acrobat cleaner and re-intalling but it didn't worked. i am attaching images. kindly reply.
