Hi,I've created a PDF doc with a 3D annotation. When I open it in Acrobat Reader (v. 18.009.20044), 3D rendering performance is very poor.  The Preferred Renderer is DirectX 9 in the Preferences but, in fact, I don't see any differences between Software and DirectX 9: rendering is very slow in both cases. BTW, I have only two options: DirectX 9 and Software, no OpenGL.On the other hand, when I open the same file in Acrobat Pro DC, 3D rendering is much faster with the DirectX 9 renderer. When I select Software renderer in Acrobat Pro, the performance is the same as hardware or software rendering performance in Acrobat Reader (slow).I've tested it on several PCs with different NVidia graphics cards (GeForce GTX 960, GeForce GTX 970, Quadro M2000M with the latest drivers, Windows 10) and got exactly the same result: Acrobat Pro is fast, Acrobat Reader is slow with respect to 3d rendering. Is it because Acrobat Reader does not support hardware acceleration?If it does, how can I enable

Hi,One of our colleagues at the office has the following problem when changing textboxes on a pdf file and saving the file. 1) A person makes a change to a pdf like splitting a text box into multiple text boxes.2) The person then saves the file using ctrl+s or the Save button.3) When the person opens the file again the changes are gone OR the changes are still there but...4) the changes are reverted back after a while. We're unsure what causes the problem, the file was in a shared sharepoint folder, but the problem still persists after moving the file out of sharepoint and into an unshared local folder on the pc. The person is running Windows 10 pro. Thanks.

The print properties box is no longer displaying correctly in Acrobat Reader DC. It was working fine until recently. All I can think of that may have messed it up is that I recently did a registry clean using CCleaner - I noticed the corruption sometime after that. I have performed the Help > Repair Installation; and I've rebooted, troubleshooted etc. Nothing has repaired the corruption to the way the printer properties displays (doesn't display like that in any other application).Screenshot attached. Any suggestions?

Hi all, Every time I open Adobe Acrobat Reader, it displays random images and I have to click the X to close it every.single.time. It is getting to be really annoying. I have the Creative Cloud Desktop install and am subscribed to Photoshop and Illustrator as well. Anyone can help me in turning it off? Adobe Reader Version 2021.007.20099, 64-bit. Thank you.Richard.

I was using adobe acrobat reader just fine until November of 2021 when I suddenly get this message of "Access Denied, you no longer have access to this service. Please contact Adobe Customer Support if you believe this is an error. Please follow this link." This message happens whenever I open up a pdf or the adobe acrobat reader in general. What access was denied? I never purchased any adobe products to begin with.I contacted the customer support, was told that this is a free product so they could not do anything about it other than suggest I reboot my computer, un-install and re-install the program. It did not work. I tried to click on "Please follow this link" which prompts me to a sign in box, I sign in, still gets denied. I also noticed on this program the name is "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" but when I go into control panel and search for it, it is called "Adobe Acrobat DC". Why is the name different?  Please help.

Trying to add a PDF from Adobe Reader to Gmail. When I click the mail button it opens Gmail correctly but there is no attachment in the mail body.

Since October 2021 update we get more and more users on Windows 10 Pro complaining about inability to open PDFs in Internet Explorer 11 that is used to access legacy web sites. Also, Adobe Reader DC shortcut icon changes its name to Adobe Acrobat DC and appears in programs list as Adobe Acrobat DC.This is a major issue for us as users do not have administrtor permission to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader to fix this, so the helpd desk gets flooded with this requests.I contacted Adobe support about this, and the response was that Adobe Reader is a free product, and although we pay for a number of Adobe Pro and Adobe Standard subscriptions, the only suggestion is to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader.When you try to uninstall you get a message that another Adobe install is running and you have to allow to revert the changes. But after completing that and getting Adobe Reader shortcut icon back, you are still unable to open PDFs in Internet Explorer, and still have to uninstall and

Hi, Our users are encountering the following problem:When they want to send a PDF through Adobe Reader DC (32-bit) version 2021.007.20099 , they normally click on the envelop icon located on the upper ribbon and it opens their email client (Outlook) they are now instead prompted to input an Adobe account credentials, is that feature not anymore available for free ?? Thank you very much in advance for your assistance 🙂 Olivier.

When trying to send email, share a file with others or share a link from toolbar, the panels are all blank. I attached pictures from the problem to this post. What could cause this problem?

I think this is technically a Microsoft issue but...  When I convert a PPT to an an Adobe iPDF using "Create and share Adobe PDF" button, the fonts are being replaced in the process. A suggested fix to the problem was to update the settings in the "preferences" menu of the "Acrobat" settings from the main PPT window. In attempting to do this, I am offered no actual settings or preferences. Just the message in the attached screen shot. Any idea why that is the case and how I can access the settings? Thanks!

I can't find the latest custom wizard tool to create mst file. I found this as the last one. If I try to use above version (0091) it gives me a file cannot be found error. Even though I re-installed , repaired the install many times. 

So I got a PDF document from store recently and was able to read it fine for a few months but all of a sudden when I open the document ever other page has white text rather than black which it didn't have previously. This makes it impossible to easily read with the white background. I'm wondering what caused this and how I can change it back. I know it's not a problem with the PDF itself because I got a new copy from the writer and he confirmed it worked. So I'm a bit at a loss. Does anyone have any tips? I don't have pro or any other editors but this shouldn't be that difficult. I've included a picture below to give and example of whats going on.   

Hi,I have some troubles for printing PDF, I don't know if it's related with Adobe Acrobat or my printer but someone can probably help me.I try to print a file in tiling mode, and the file show me 6 parts. Normally it's 6 sheets and that's it, but in my case my printer print in offset. Wich means I have my sheet number 1 and normally after it's 2 but in my case it's restarting with 1 and after 2 until reaching my sheet number 6 (For the scheme of the print : 1, 1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4-5, 1-2-3-4-5-6). There is 15 extra sheets before a correct print. How I'm suppose to solve that ? I hope that I was clear in my words.Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hi,I logged in several devices and I know there's a limit of 2.The problem is that each time I access Acrobat Reader I have to wait several time for the attached panel to open and do another login.Is there a way to manage your devices? the page here is empty: https://account.adobe.com/activated-devices

 I can't open a pdf file. It's a protected file and I'm trying to open this in the company. everyone except me can open it. it says it's not supported form of file or the file has been damaged. Is there a way to open this file?

Hi, I am creating an assessment form. Each assessment task has a selection of responses:  Met Standard, Above Standard & Below Standard. If you meet standard the score = 1, Above = 2 and Below = 0. I am using radio bottuns for selection. How do I assign a value to the selection of the radio button so I can add up the results across multiple assessment tasks?Thanks,Narelle

I received a pdf file that is upside down. Rotated and saved.  When I open the file, it is still upsided.  How to solve this problem?

I use Acrobat reader DC (version 2021.005.20058) on windows 10. I usually open many pdf files on the software. I would like to get all opened pdf file paths at once.  I know that I can get a file path in the document property window for a single file. But what I would like to do is that to get opened pdf file paths by a single operation,  some codes, or a plug-in, not to get the paths one by one.  Is there any way of this?Thank you in advance.   

I have a pdf which is a memories book - photos and text. I want to show it as a presentation and have it loop and restart. I have read about the instructions to "loop after last page" and not disable "auto flip" and choosing transition time. But the key question - how to get the presentation to proceed automatically without me manually turning the pages is not there. I am a iMac user and I have downloaded the Adobe Reader DC.
