I have a checklist and each box requires my signature. Currently I have to click "sign" then place my initials for each box. I have 250 boxes to sign so I was wondering if I could click "sign", hold "shift", and place my initials in multiple locations.

Hello everyone, I have a question to which perhaps there is no answer. I have two fillable pdf files: these are documents for privacy and for delegation. In both fields that can be filled in are the same: personal data, residence etc ... When I work, each client must sign them both. To fill them in, I have to enter the same data twice in different documents. I was wondering is it possible to merge them and make sure that the data copied in one page is automatically reported in the other as well?

Hello, i have the following problem:when I save a PDF as .txt it has a different outcoming as when my colleague does it. (His has less paragraphs). What settings do we have to change, to get the same txt? Here are the examples:

Orignally started with adobe X. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with adobe XI. Even removed all registry entries. Any idea's?

Hi, I have a mail to button which has been applied on a PDF form.  When clicked, it is designed to email the completed form as an attachment through the mail account.This will attach and send through the IOS mail app; however, if you use Outlook for IOS only it says that there is no account setup and fails to run.Is there a workaround to have the mail link open in the 'default mail app' rather than always being directed to 'mail'Thanks in advanced Andrew

Hi everyone, I would like to make an adobe form on which my workes will be able to sign with their smart cards. At the moment, when they sign, anyone who sees the filled form, can see the worker's ID, which is a privacy issue. Is there a way that I can change the preferences of the original form (not that every worker would have to do it himself) so that I'll be able to see the name of the worker, but not his ID? thanx!

Everytime I open Adove Acrobat Reader DC a pop up takes over the screen. It wont allow me to close it, or to click continue or anything on the pop up. The only thing I can do is quit the application all together. Screenshot attached. I have un-installed and re-installed but it is still happening. Any help would be appreciated! 

Hello,my younger brother recently got a new laptop, the Acer Swift 3 SF314-41. In the attached files you can see the graphical error that he sees every time when opening a pdf. I updated all drivers to the newest version and tried reinstalling the drivers and adobe Acrobat, but nothing helps. The display always looks like a  graphical computing error, yet the text remains intact. For example i can still copy and paste it into word. Its displaying wrong colours in square tiles. I atteched some screenshots and pictures taken from my phone as reference.For comparison, the Foxit reader does display the pdfs without any issues.Does someone know what causes this display / graphic error on my brother’s laptop? A solution would be appreciated.Kind regards,Hasan

Hello,     I think other users of Reader DC that use JavaScript for saving autofill forms may be running into this and similar Javascript issues when their version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is updated from the 32-bit version to 64-bit version.     The problem is: We developed a number of fillable PDF forms about 5 years ago with Acrobat. JavaScript was developed that renamed form PDF objects with a new name, where the new name of the form object included information that was entered into the form (let's say some type of invoice number. We used a JavaScript "SaveAs" function to save the newly renamed form object to a specified directory, and also added JavaScript to add a menu item at a certain position (between the Save and SaveAs menu selections) within the Reader DC application to activate the JavaScript "SaveAs" from Reader DC (once the form was completed). We also saved the form with a JavaScript method to place the form in a "Read Only" state. 

Hi , I have recently updated os to Windows 11 and facing issues with Adobe reader.  Issue 1 - Reader is not showing images properly . All images are blurrred . Issue -2 - PDF Forms Editable PDFs are not showing properly I have attached screenshot reference for above issue. Please someone help me. 

Enabling embedded indexing in the registry editor used to be sufficient when searching large pdf documents without requiring the tool in the pro version to create a registry  This no longer seems to work after recent updates. has something changed?I'm working with 50k page documents and a simple search takes a VERY long time  https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/kb/enable-embedded-index-to-search-pdf.html 

Since the last update Reader won't plot to my HP Design Jet 500 plotter.  It's not the plotter - it works with everything else.  Any suggestions?  Can I just go back to the version that worked?

Hi, I've installed Adobe Reader DC 2021.007.20099 but found that my Win 10 running IE 11 don't see the captioned add-on, which is required to open some large PDF in a SharePoint 2016 site as suggested by Microsoft. Any help how to make the captioned add-on installed? Thanks.

Hi, From last 3 days i have been trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC reader, but i am unable to do so. At the end of the installation process it says that the newest version is already installed, but there is no version installed. I have even tried with Adobe cleaner, but nothing happens. Laptop: HPOS: Windows 8 64 bit.

I have had Adobe Reader on both my laptop and phone, and loved how they synced my saved files.  The latest update was installed on my laptop and when I opened it, I was shocked to find that there was nothing in my Cloud storage, and I can't sync with my phone.  There was no warning that this would happen, if there had been I would have backed up those files.  Is there any way to get them back?

We are currently using Internet Explorer (IE) with the add-on Adobe Acrobat Sharepoint OpenDocuments enabled - and SharePoint 2019. When Clicking on a PDF document in a library, it just opens in a browser. When using the same configuration in our SharePoint 2013 farm, when click on a PDF document in a library it respects the add-on and opens up the Adobe Acrobat client.  We have both SharePoint farms configured the same in accordance with the document - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/sharepoint.html#sa_src=web-messagingHowever there is no guidance yet for 2019.  Looking for some help in being able to provide the functionality of clicking on a PDF document in a SharePoint 2019 farm, and having the adobe client open (instead of opening in browser).  Appreciate any assistance.As stated above, we have made the SharePoint side configurations of the DOCICON.XML file

My computer did an update and now, the pdf files that were on my computer prior will not open, I get this message: there was an error opening this document.  the file can not be accessed by the system?? Does any one know how to correct this? I need my files to open. New files that I save as a pdf opens. Very strange

Hello, I have signed a PDF document with an electronic certificate, and when I open it again, the signature comes out corrupt. I have the latest version, I have already uninstalled I have installed it again and it remains the same. I am attaching the result of the signature when I open the document again. Thanks 

My Acrobat Reader DC uses more than 2 GB of memory, how can this be explained and fixed? I have 7 documents open, most are a couple 100K large, and one is 4 MB. So total about 5MB open.See screen shots.I have latest version: see screen shot. Any other info you require let me know. Thanks, Patrick

J'ai chargé un autre software pdf et j'ai voulu retiré abode. mais helas je n'arrive pas à le retirer complétement, j'ai éssayé toutes les possibilité. il est plus facile pour moi de me débarasser des microbes !  abode acrobat reader DC - Français Abode system Incorporated 30-07-21 impossible dans désinstallation de programme de le desinstaller, réparer et effacer j'ai  également essayer de le réinstaller complétemen rien à faire."la désinstallation du package correctif n'est pas prise en charge"J'ai essayé vos dépannages ils ne servent à rien.  

I am having a problem with reader DC. It is installed on 32-bit option ALTHOUGH I am using 64-bit windows and this makes the software work so slow as well as my PC. I reinstalled it but the the problem still. How can I fix this? Thanks

Dear community, I have a problem with Acrobat Reader DC. When I'm filling a form and typing letters in to text boxes, all letters seems fine, but when I start typing symbols like "ėųšęčą" it just ignores and nothing happens not even a space between letters. But when I open sticky note in the same document I can type those symbols. Other programs and internet is fine with these symbols aswell. I'm using Lithuanian language to access theses letters. Tried the same document with another computers and all letters works fine. Double checked all options and they are exactly the same, but one is typing these symbols and another is not.. I've tried to go to edit-preferences-general-untick use single-key accelerators to access tools, also tried to change font, nothing seems to work. Could you help me with that?
