Hello I'm new here, maybe there was a recent update or something but as of a few days ago my Adobe Acrobat Reader DC now has the "Save file" icon in the upper left corner DISABLED. I can click the File drop down menu and click "Save As..." and it will save to my computer, but it will save it as a "file:///C:/Users/..." webpage and not a proper normal PDF doc. From that "file:///C:/Users/..." page I can then download and open the correct PDF without problem, but I just CAN'T SAVE it properly. It has also changed all my existing PDF documents to those "file:///C:/Users/..." pages I mentioned and my computer icons for all of these have changed from the normal Adobe PDF icon look to blank "white page" looking icons. Any help from the community on this?

I have a large pdf document, but would like to extract a select number of pages from whole file. How can I do this?

Hi I can't get my recorded sounds to work.When I want to attach a sound file that I record in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC through comments, attach file, record sound, it wont work. I click on record but when I click stop and play it nothing comes out of the speakers. I guess it's the built in microphone in my MacBook Air 2020 that wont work with Adobe  (if I go to Macs setting, anonymous and security, microphone I can't see Adobe Reader and can't check the box. If it's not the built in microphone, then it's the speakers that wont work with Adobe but that would be weird. Either way I have no idea how to solve it. The chat bot can't help and I tried to look in here and on Google. Here are my specs:MacBook Air (2020), version: Big Sur, 11.4 I hope you can help me. Kind regards,Jesper

I tried uninstalling, change between school and personal account and nothing works. "You do not have access to this service. Contact your IT administrator to gain access, or sign in with an Adobe ID." 

Good evening everybody,I would appreciate some guidance on the following:I am exporting an FDF from a "parametric" PDF file (parametric in the sense that a number of page templates are spawned or not, depending on user choices).Now, I found out (the hard way) that in order to transfer data from fields that appear on spawned pages, I need to import the FDF file twice. For the first import, I use importAnFDF() without parameters, so it launches an explorer window, which is perfect. As explained above, this first import ensures that the base file has the exact same structure with the file that generated the FDF, however a second import is required to actually transfer the data from fields in spawned pages (which makes some sense to me, although unclear if it is right or wrong...)Is there a way to retrieve the path of the imported FDF from the first import so that I can use it as a parameter to the second call to importAnFDF(FDFpath)? This would smooth-out the import process as it wou

When I open Adobe Reader DC, the top of the window is white and I can click in it and it clicks whatever is under the window.Thoughts?ETA: Windows 10, current version of DC

This started happening a day ago, when I click on the Document Cloud tab it keeps in a loading screen and never ends. I searched up for a solution and tried logging out, quit Acrobat, re-open it and re-log in but it doesn't seem to fix anything, then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it's the same thing. I don't really know what's wrong.

Beispielsweise würde ich gerne erst drei Wörter aus Zeile eins und dann drei Wörter aus Zeile zehn markieren, um diese dann gleichzeitig zu kopieren oder zu bearbeiten. Some of my documents do not show all the comments when opening. One specific document only shows 8 but there are over 80 comments. This is not computer specific because the document does the same on multiple different computers as well as different Adobe versions. 

I have both Adobe Acrobat PRO DC and Adobe Reader installed on my computer. I have Adobe Reader DC set as my default program for PDFs, but starting this morning when I double-click a PDF it is opening in PRO instead of reader. Help!

Table header fails in the accessibility check done by the Accessibility Checker tool (adobe.com) I am not sure this is correct as it says the update now spots the table header errors which it couldnt before- however i have correctly tagged the header cells (as outlined in the guidelines ) and it is still coming up? So I wondered what is going on? and why do we need to run this register key as it suggests on this page, if it is simply ' bypassing the error, and does not flag or fix the missing table header accessibility issue.' Surely we want to be able to identify the error? I cannot make sense of this. I wondered if anyone can anyone help me as I really want to know how to resolve this and make sure my documents are accessible?

El panel de navegación es EXTREMADAMENTE molesto e inútil, muy parecido al panel de herramientas. No deberían aparecer cuando uno abre un documento, espero que lo tomen como una sugerencia para próximas versiones de Adobe Reader.Mientras tanto, hay alguna forma de ocultar el panel de navegación de forma predeterminada? La opción de restaurar la última vista no funciona.

Thumbnail generation in home screen abysmally slowIf recent or starred files are displayed, acrobat generates thumbnails for these every time you relaunch it. Takes maybe 10 seconds to generate 1 thumnail. If there are several files - acrobat just freezes. Makes using the home screen completely impossible.  

Oct 2021, a new Reader install on a Windows 11 desktop. I expected a prompt in the installer for bloatware but there was none! However, it did tell me it was installing 'two' pieces of McAfee software. Very uncomfortable with that practice! I think the community would agree.

When I access Files | Adobe Creative Cloud I only see my library images but not documents but when I'm saving documents via Acrobat Pro I can see various documents I have saved onto the Cloud. Is there some way to organise the documents via a web page or app?Thanks

Hey all. I am looking for some help or a work around please. I am field based engineer and need to access PDF files saved in my document cloud. I get decent and stable 4G and sometimes 5G but it will not let me open anythinng from the dociments cloud. I have no issue when connected to WiFi but this is rare for me to be able to connect to in the field. I have tried twice speaking to Adobe but get little sense despite the product stpulating you can work from anywhere! I have been advised to take a PC or Mac out with me by support and not my phone and/or tablet. I do not see how this makes any diffrence. Is anyone else doing site visits found a soloution? I noted the same question was asked in here in 2018 but had no responses! Thanks in advance.

Estou tentando incluir minha assinatura no Adobe, para que eu não precise imprimir, assinar e digitalizar toda vez que eu receber um documento, porém o adobe trava completamente quando tento fazer isso.   Após clicar nessa opção, seleciono a opção "assine você mesmo", para incluir minha assinatura. Mas aí trata tudo!   O que posso fazer para conseguir incluir a assinatura?  Obrigado.

I work for a global company and I am looking to download an msi for Adobe Reader that I can edit to work with the language of the OS for each country.  Can someone direct me on where to find this or what I can do to set AdobeReader to open with the country language for that OS?

I keep getting this error message when trying to scroll down a PDF: There was an error processing a page.  An internal error occurred. Anybody know what's the cause & fix?Thanks, Lisa

Hello!We've got trouble with our pdf.If we run our Admin_guide.pdf from our installer, the Acrobat.exe process has been freezer. As a result, our users cannot read the document. But if we open the document as a file from Explorer or in Google Chrome, it'll be opened successfully.We use actual Acrobat Reader DC version (2021.007.20099) with default settings, but if we turn off Enable Protect mode, the document also opens from installer.We think that recommending to disable Protect mode to our users is a bad idea.The question is, what's the right method of solving this problem.

bonjour, j'ouvre un fichier pdf, ensuite je fais enregistrer sous, une fenetre s'ouvre et reste blanche, pas possible d'aller plus loin. vraiment un pb, car je ne peux plus modifier un pdf et enregistrer. j'ai essayé de voir avec le parefeu bitdefender mais je ne trouve rien. merci de votre aide svp car adobe acrobat reader DC est vraiment très bien et je l'utilise depuis des années. bien cordialement

It blows my mind that Adobe gets away with releasing such crap software. As a long time Creative suite user (mainly Premiere) I ditched Adobe for video work due to the constant crashing and zero useful support.Now, acrobat makes it almost impossible to just sign a document.Seriously, who are the software engineers at Adobe? I can find dozens of faults in each Adobe software package I use wihin minutes of use.I get the error message that"There was an error opening this document. Acrobat cannot open this file because a task is still active in Acrobat. Please return to Acrobat and end the task before opening this file." But it's not open anywhere!
