Hallo When trying to check the signature which was assigned via ADS on my pdf document,I receive the error: internal cryptographic bibliothek failure - failure code 0x2727In our ADS connection everything looks good and the encryptioning also shows no fialures (log is fine).We are using SHA384 algorithm, so it should work.Can you please help me? The texts in the documnet properties dialog box starts getting distorted when I start switching to different tabs in the same dialog box (ex: Description, Security, Custom etc) Using Continuous Version: 21.001.20155 Have attached a  sample for better understanding for the issue, Please let me know the cause and a possible solution to resolve this. Thanks

We've got a strange issue with one of our users. He pointed out he couldnt launch Adobe Reader sometimes and we could reproduce it by inserting a signature and fully closing Acrobat.When you try to launch Adobe Reader in the next 30 or so seconds it won't launch.I checked the running processes and it seems that Adobe Reader has some difficulty closing (only when using the signature function).This wasn't the case before and when trying to reproduce it on my own PC i had no issues. It doesn't give an error code 99% of the time, but i did once get the following error:"Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server." I've tried the following things to fix it:- repair installation- Tried variations of advanced security settings (turning everything off, certain things off or on and all on)- Removed Adobe Reader and installed the newest version- Removed the newest version of Adobe Reader with the cleanup tool (Adobe AcroCleaner) and installed an older version (2019)- tried ever

When opening multiple PDFs, we would like them to open in one window/instance of Adobe and then just have multiple tabs for each PDF that is open. Is there a setting or a fix to make this happen?

Greetings.  I inherited ownership of Adobe Reader in my organization, and it's my role to maintain the updates and deploy as needed.  We use the 2017 and 2020 Classic track, as DC is not allowed here by our ITSEC team. Historically it was done by using the customization wizard, by opening the MSI, setting the properties we want, and then also generating a Transforms file.  I'm not sure if we still need the Transforms file though.   Current command used : [msiexec  \\Path\AcroRead.msi\DISABLE_ARM_SERVICE_INSTALL=1 TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" /qb /norestart] The main things we modify are accepting the EULA, removing the Desktop icon, preventing any type of auto-update(which doesn't always work), blocking upsell and anything related to cloud storage.  We do not want Protected Mode turned on for any use, local file or browser click, no enhanced protection, etc.  These setting block printing and other functions used by some fair

I am an Apple user and currently I'm using the latest version of Adobe Reader DC as well as the latest operating system Mac OS 11.4. I depend on extracting texts from PDF files in both French and German. So far, this has always worked perfectly. Recently, however, Adobe seems to have a problem with copying special symbols. Other Mac users in our company have the same issue (since about 2 weeks). Instead of a special symbol, only a space is inserted. What can we do? I have already contacted various computer scientists who have gone through everything. They told me all it seems to be a problem that comes along with the latest update from Adobe DC.

Al necesitar firmar un pdf con certificado digital, en un mac con adobe, sigo todos los pasos necesario y al llegar al final bloqueo el documento y lo guardo con ottro nombre, al abrirlo esta correctamente firmado  pero se puede eliminar la firma del documento sin problemas. Alguien podria indicarme cual es el motivo de este error. Gracias 

Hi, this has been covered before, but I wonder if there have been new fixes since last raised on this community 2 years ago.   I previously had Acrobat Reader DC Pro installed from a free trial in error - meant to install the standard free version. I have not paid for a license and it has been working fine ever since albeit with limited features of the free version. I don't require the full features. Due to a particular document causing issues I uninstalled the Pro, and since then I cannot install the free version. Every time it tells me I have a newer version installed - now I do not have any copy installed!   I have run the Adobe Cleaner, run CC Cleaner on the registry, and tried the direct install option - nothing seems to make any difference. I'm wondering if I paid for a full copy whether I would have this issue....   Any suggestions gratefully received.

Spelling Dictionaries for Acrobat Reader used to be easy to find and install.Now I can't even find them on Adobe's website.Can anyone help?ThanksTM

Hi. One one document signed with Global Sign DSS, the certificate is suddenly corrupted. What could be the reason. it shows a red cross on the signatureSummary showsthis signature is invalid because there are errors in formatting or information contained in the signature Signature contains incorrect, unrecognized, corrupted or suspicious dataSigndict/Contents illegal data  Can you suggest how to recover the certficate. this document was signed in June 2020. File is attached for investigation. 

I just paid for the program.  It doesn't download or work.  There is no help available.  Going to call credit card company to cancel.

OS : Windows 10 64bit.Install adobe reader dc, uninstall adobe reader.Try to reinstall adober reader dc,got the below error screen  The words are in traditional Chinese _ the message says something like installation program detected your pc have installed products that have more functions. Install will be ended Already try the AdobeAcroCleaner_DC2021 to remove all adobe products but no success. Deleted all files named adobe . no success. Try the offline installation and the online one, same problem.Any suggestions on how to fully uninstall adobe reader dc  ?

When I have multiple PDFs open for longer than 30 minutes, all of a sudden I get an alert that I cannot view them any longer. Yes, I can trouble shoot and individually sanitize the documents or reduce each file's size by compressing the PDF, but I should not have to. This would take me alot of time for when I have many documents open. And it doesn't just happen with certain formats, it is whenever I have many documents open in Acrobat. Hi, my name is Hans. I use adobe reader in my MAC OS.Hundreds of files pass through me a day, which I need to make textual notes or comments. However I would like these annotations to become fixed as when I save the file, without me needing to export the pdf, because when I export, I go through another infinity of folders on the network to replace the exported file with the original.Is there any command to make the added text an image or have it fixed after I access the files tab and save my pdf? Thank you for now!

I am trying to install a fresh Acrobat Reader DC on my Win 10 home (x64).I have been through the cycle 3 times, always ending in a 'failed insall', with no particular error message.I downloaded the program from the official page <https://get.adobe.com/reader/> . The download is successfull. When I run the .exe file, progress proceeds normally ...downloading...installing.... Somewhere areounf the 61% mark, the process stops. The message says 'installation complete', however when I click on 'FINISH' button, I am redirected to a page which says the installation was not completed.What should I try next?  Background:I had been having problem un-installing the previous version. Uninstallation was being blocked because of ' unable to uninstall patch'. I believe this was due to the corrumption of the original .msi installer.  I finally forced uninstall using RevoUninstaller.

Goodday I have a PDF document with a digital signature field. When I try to click on the field to sign it, I create or select a signature and then a pop up box appears to say : Found an unexpected operator in the display listThen I click OK to dismiss the box and the following error pops upUnknown errorSupport Information: CGetSigningParams-4001I have tried disabling the modern user interface for signing and Digital ID configuration in the settings, and I have tried reinstalling Adobe. Does any one have any answers or suggestions as to what error 4001 indicates and how it can be resolved. 

Adobe Reader Asian Language Pack used to be available from https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows but this site is not longer active. Anyone know the new location?
