I'm proofreading a web page that has some hyperlinked text. I printed the web page in the Chrome browser and picked the option to "save to PDF" so it is not protected. It is saved as a local file on my laptop and I launched Acrobat Reader PC to open it. If there's a misspelled word in the text (the URL is fine), I'm unable to highlight just the misspelled word. I have to begin the selection before/after the hyperlinked text, which means it could be an entire sentence or paragraph gets highlighted. I'm able to highlight non-hyperlinked text just fine. How do I highlight just the text I need? Acrobat Reader DC, Windows 10

I am having trouble adding handwritten comments in pdf files using a pen. Specifically, I just can't draw dots - eg. on top of the letter i, at the end of a sentence or to write trailing dots... There seems to be a minimum distance that the pen has to travel over the surface until the movement is registered as a stroke. As a result, I can only draw short lines but no dots, which is incredibly annoying. Is there any way to disable this behavior? Any suggestions would be really appreciated! What I looked into so far:I checked the settings menu, but couldn't find anything.I noticed that the minimum distance is much shorter if I use the mouse cursor instead of the pen. There seems to be a hidden setting that controlls the minimum distance until drawing begins. Though, I would rather draw a point by simply touching the screen without having to move the pen at all.It seems to be unrelated to the issue with the smoothing algorithm that is discussed here: https://community.adobe

I have a MAC and when I save the file all the text dissapears, the only thing left is the underlines.  I would like to recover it because I wrote a lot of informartion there in comments that I need.Thanks.

Is there a way to automate (e.g. make use of a scirpt) the adding of a Trusted Identity (CA Certificate) into the Trusted Certificates list, in the Digital ID and Trust Certificates Settings of Adobe Acrobate Reader DC, for large scale enterprises as you would when adding CA certificate files to a machines local certificate store? The goal would be for Adobe Reader to validate sigantures of an internal "private" CA without enterprise users needing to manually trust the CA when the CA is not part of AATL.

Hi all,open a .pdf file from Lotus Notes (Version 8.5.3) inside EMail in Edit Mode.If I sign a document, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC asks for location where to save the signed file. This is ok, but everytime Acrobat Reader opens the location "Documents" of the user path. In the past it opens automatically the path where the "basic" file is located (in this case normally: C:\Users\"username"\AppData\Local\Temp...) and the user only need was to click on "Save". It was then automatically saved in Lotus Notes EMail, too. Is there any way to change it back?It is more than annoying if I have a few documents to sign and answering or forwarding the email. In the past it was easy to go but now I have to attach each signed document new to the email. I already turned off the protected mode from settings and tested some another settings. The same result. Acrobat Reader DC shows after signing my user profile "Documents" folder as default save location. Please help.😉 Thank yo

Dynamic PDF was created with LiveCycle ES4. After that safe it, with Acrobat Acrobat DC Pro (2015) as "PDF with extended reader functions" - "Activate additional tools ...". So far so gut... With all PCs I can open the PDF document and dynamically edit the text fields, but not with my PC  I deleted and reinstalled Arcrobat Reader DC, made all repairs ... but without success.  'Where can the problem be? Thx in advance for any help. Nikolaos.

Good morning! We're facing a strange issue.About 2 weeks ago Acrobat Reader DC auto updated to version 21.001.20142No problem so far, only with 2 of our users (it's on terminal server) reader keeps hanging after a few seconds of scrolling in te documentI've already tried reinstalling this version, no helpChecked compatibility on adobe site, that tells me version 19.008.20071 should be working witch it does but auto update keeps reactivating and updating to version 21...Searched this site but found some similar problems years ago but dit not find a working solution for me. Since it's working with most of the users I don't think the problem is version related but can not find any issues on their profiles. Anyone any idea on what could be causing this? Setup:Windows server 2012 R2 terminal server with 17 users logged in RDSAdobe versions see above

Took 45 minutes to start the download, install app and finally open a PDF file.  What a HUGE waste of time and resources. I didn't want to reinvent my life or launch a space shuttle. I am eager to explain to anyone that will listen the useless app the tries to help me. I thought Dropbox was bad. What's up with you vendors that have a good idea. Then the megalomaniacs take over wanting to capture as much computer space and services possible. I do not want you to monetize me, in fact, I don't want anyone to monetize me! There is a problem in my Adobe Reader DC. I've just re-installed it again today. What happen is when I click the page, it turns black while the text or other images turn into glitch. I don't know why it happens and it shouldn't happen because we've just bought the new laptop few days ago. Please respond, needs some help for this.

When you select this option in Adobe Reader DC nothing happens.  How do you make it work?

Just recently the configuration error 0x8007007e appears if I want to print a PDF file from my hard drive.The printing of word documents and JPEG"S works normal.I have Windows 10 Home and Acrobat Reader DC.Any suggestions ?

One Adobe reader has share options and shared files on home screen, the other doesn't (see screenshots).1. M1, 2020, Big Sur 11.0.1, Adobe Version 2021.001.20135 (has share options and home screen shared files)2. Air 13-inch, 2017, Big Sur 11.2.1, Adobe Version 2021.001.20135 (doesn't have share options)I know its different language but you get the picture.Any clues? Am I doing something wrong?Both are clean install.

I have tried several options but failed to open my PDF file with all versions I have tried. Other versions either say it is not the right format or that  but  it is corrupted PDF Reader 3.26.3 which works on Android mobile devices was able to open it. All my clients who visit my website complian about this problem, so I request that they download PDF Reader 3.26.3  ajdbuse for that purpose which makes the process cumbersome for those who already have other versions of PDF readers. What would you recommend as a way out especially seeing that most clients use desktop applications for this purpose and I can't find an equivalent of this working Android version in the desktop windows Operating System. Ibhave attached a file I used for the above explanations. It opens with PDF Reader  Version 3.26.3 but fails with other versions.

I'm able to open certain set of pdfs in all the softwares without error. It works even in previous versions of Acrobat reader. However, in Acrobat reader 21.001.20135, I'm getting the below error. (There was an error processing a page. There was a problem reading this document (109)). 

I have a customer that is using Acrobat Reader DC and whenever they open a fillable form in Reader, their document will display the attached image; it is normal prior to attempting to fill it out.  The document behaves normally when you open it in a browser (Chrome in this case) and it does this for all fillable forms. I have uninstalled Reader, run the AcroCleaner 64 bit tool, and reinstalled with the latest Reader DC installer, but the behavior is persisting.  I was wondering if anyone has run across this issue before as I am not sure what to call it to do a search.

Every time I try to open a .pdf I get the following:  Every time.  It won't even open using the desktop or start menu link. Uninstalling & reinstalling makes no difference.  

Hello, We're experiencing severe performance issues in SAP Tools when loading PDF documents since we moved from Acrobat Reader v2017 (classic track) to v2020 (classic track). I noticed you released a patch addressing this issue for the continuous track (DC versions): https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuousnovember2020qfe.html#dccontinuousnovtwentytwentyqfe  When will this be done for the classic track?  Or is there another way of fixing this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have created a form in MS office then convered it to a writable form in Adobe Acrobat DC(2).the free text box expands as much as the user requires and all thier text viewable on screen.  But when printing the hard copy for the reciepent it only displays the top seciont of text that fits into the preset box height and width. How do I print this so all the text is displayed and printed?thanks

This app has terrible functionality and predatroy subscription model, with "Cacellation Fee".   I reccomend to NEVER EVER support Adobe in their unethical credit card cahrging business model.   This company should be made famous for the dihinsty and traps in the billiing cycles, they dont care aty all about the customers, except to extract MAXIMUM dollars from your account.  NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT.    I will NEVER purchase another Adobe product in my life, my business wil use other programs.  A classic example of ripping off clietns with predatory charge plans.
