Pdf file resets back to cover page after closing file. Unable to save the last view
Pdf file resets back to cover page after closing file when previously the file would remain at last page visited.

As per the description given above, if I understand correctly you have not been able to view the last page of a multiple page pdf file when you open it next time? It takes you to the cover or first page of file?
There might be some changes in the application's setting. You may check the preferences settings suggested below-
- Open Acrobat Reader>Edit> Preferences> Document> Check "Restore Last view settings when opening file"
- Close Acrobat and reopen it.
It should now work as per your requirement.
