Problemas abriendo PDF - solicita contraseña

He descargado un documento de una fuente confiable pmi.org , cuando intento abrir con adobe me solicita contraseña; sin embargo , el pmi no genera contraseña a sus documentos, pedí ayuda con ellos y me comentaron que el problema lo genera adobe. Por favor su soporte con este inconveniente, he intentado abrir el PDF con otros lectores de PDF sin problemas.

Si el PDF te pide una contraseña al abrirlo, primero comprobaría si el archivo está realmente protegido o si se dañó durante la descarga. Si el documento proviene de otra persona, es posible que tenga una contraseña de apertura configurada y necesitarás pedirla al remitente. Si antes se abría sin problemas y ahora solicita una contraseña, prueba a descargar una copia nueva del archivo y asegúrate de que Acrobat esté actualizado. ¿El problema ocurre con ese PDF únicamente o con todos los archivos PDF que intentas abrir?
