I have a PDF order form in which there are a few calculations happening at the same time and I've run into a road block about how to handle it using Javascript. I've attached a picture of the part of the form that I'm hoping to have calculated. I was able to calculate the "Pre-Total" field named "Sub_Total". But then the next field "Min_Handling" would only be calculated to add $2.50 if the Sub_Total field is less than $15. Otherwise, the value should be zero. The next field for UPS Shipping would be based upon the amount in the Pre-Total field and would be three different flat rates based upon the shipping charge rates displayed. The "SUBTOTAL" field would be the values of "Sub_Total" + "Min_Handling" + "UPS Shipping". The next field "PA_Sales_Tax" would be calculated at 6% of the SUBTOTAL field ONLY if the shipping or billing "State" field is PA (Pennsylvania), otherwise the value would be zero. Then the "ORDER_TOTAL" field would be the sum of all the fields from Pre-Total down. Ther

I have a line item order form I'm working on. There are seven lines in which the user can entered their quantity/unit cost/etc. I've set everything up to calculate the total cost for each line (last column on the form), and then these total costs are summed as the sub total at the bottom of the form. This works beautifully. The problem is I think I need a custom code to sum the sub total at the bottom of the form EXCEPT when there is only one total cost value on the form in which case the sub total field should just grab that with no calculation. I hope this makes sense? Thanks for any help you have!
I have set up a form, and I have used javascript in other pdf forms for the date field, with no problem. In this pdf form, the date is broken out as " of the ___ day of _(Month)__, 20 __. I set up a custom date format for each field.Day - custom format "dd"Month - custom format "mmmm"Year - custom format "yy"On the Page Properties Actions, I have set up to "Run a JavaScript":var f=this.getField("Day");f.value=util.printd("dd", new Date());var g=this.getField("Month");g.value=util.printd("mmmm", new Date());var h=this.getField("Year"); h.value=util.printd("yyyy", new date());I keep getting an error message though "Invalid date/time: please ensure that the date/time exists. Field [Month] should match format mmmm"I'm not sure why I keep getting the error message. Can anyone help?

Exactly what the title said. I am trying to OCR hundreds of pdfs which contain both bookmarks and footers, which are causing the OCR to not run on the rest of the page because this page already "contains renderable text". I need to be able to overwrite the existing "renderable text" with a fresh OCR which captures the whole page. Online I see a lot of direction to convert to a TIF or print to PDF and try again, but this will not work as I need to preserve the bookmarks in the document. Help! Thanks!

Hi! Can someone help me with JavaScript for a print button on a fillable pdf please? I am not a coder so I just need the script to add to the pdf. I created a form that can be opened from a website. Once open, I have a buttons to email the form, reset the form and print the form. The email and reset buttons work great, but the functionality to print it is not in Adobe Pro DC. I have to add JavaScript in the properties. I just need a simple code to open the print dialog box. Thank you in advance for your help!
I have a pdf, which I opened in Adobe Reader DC by double-clicking the file.I added a sticky note and then attempted to save the file. The save icon, File -> Save, and ctrl-s all prompt me to save the pdf as a new file, as if I had chosen "Save As" rather than "Save."I can overwrite the existing file just fine, but it has to prompt me to ask if I'm sure I really want to.What gives?
Hi I just signed up for the free Acrobat DC trial and downloaded the desktop version but when I tried to use it I got a message that my trial had expired. It looks like someone else previously had a trial version on the same PC. Could that be why it thought my trial had expired? How to get it to work for my trial period?
HiI would like to know if there is a java script code for all these "Discard User Data" options? I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro X 10.1.16 on Windows 7.Thanks.
I am creating a form in Adobe Acrobat and I need to average a column of numbers. The problem is, not all rows of that column will always have a numeric value but the basic calculation function includes the row in the average anyway. Here is a simplified version of my table:CriteriaRating1.131.241.31.421.53The average of the four rows that contain a value is 3. But the calculate field function counts row 1.3 as a zero, even though no zero is present and generates an average value of 2.4. I don't know Javascript very well. Is there a custom calculation script that can help me with this?
basically, i just wanted to put a smiley on a document with some arrows. i had to go through edit then add picture then the whole background document disappeared. then i deleted the page then reinserted the page then added the picture first and the arrows second, because the "arrange" menu items were not working before. you have to go to "edit" to add a picture and then the document does a whole OCR thing automatically -- and now even Acrobat is hanging with a dialog box that reads: Content Preparation Processyou have to go to "comment" to add an arrow, but the arrows are only available from an icon with a drop-down menubasically -- you have to hunt and peck and now the app is hanging and i am working with a 4 page scanned document i wanted to put a smiley onto with some arrows. geeze -- what is going on? i used to love Acrobat, it was like the surgical scalpel you could use to process and print documents and take care of a good number of deliverability issues, etc. i am working on a b

Hello,I am having a problem with searching through comments in highlight annotation.Problem behavior is somewhat strange.First time when it searches through the comments, it does it successfully. When I search second time and scroll a document little bit then Acrobat crashes. When I try to debug, at some point, it gives me error that Acrobat.pdb is not loaded and hence I can not debug it further.I want to debug it further (in Acrobat.dll) because I think I can get some clue for crash. How can I load this Acrobat.pdb and debug in Acrobat.dll? Here is my code to search though the comments:ASText searchKey = ASTextNew();searchKey = ASTextFromUnicode((ASUTF16Val*)reqText, kUTF16HostEndian);SearchQueryDataRec srcQuery;memset(&srcQuery, 0, sizeof(SearchQueryDataRec));srcQuery.size = sizeof(SearchQueryDataRec);srcQuery.query = searchKey;srcQuery.type = kSearchActiveDoc;//Search through comments of Highlight annotationsrcQuery.scope = kSearchDocumentText | kSearchMarkup;srcQuery.path = NULL;sr
