How can I correct the background of my book cover I converted- the background was changed in the conversion?

Hi chipmanlane,

You landed in the Acrobat.com forum, but it's not clear what you converted from or to. Did you use ExportPDF to convert a PDF to another format, or use Acrobat or Adobe PDF Pack to convert a file to PDF?

Please fill in some of the blanks for me, and I'll help you get to the bottom of things.

I was converting an email of my book cover by Export PDF to word, but the background of the book converted incorrectly.

You can try disabling OCR as outlined in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (O... | Adobe Community

That may resolve the conversion issue. However, if the PDF doesn't already contain selectable/editable text, you won't be able to edit that text in the converted Word document.

Nevertheless, it's a good test. Please try disabling OCR, and let me know how that goes.
