Are photos of marinas to be classified as editorial?

Hello,

I have many photos of marinas.  I have two quetions.

 

1)  I know to remove any visible logos; however, many boat names are visible.  Is it necessary to remove the names of the boats prior to submission?  

 

2)  Can I submit the photos "as is" if they are submitted for Editorial Use?

You need to edit out the boat names too. And no, you can’t submit editorial pictures, except if you have had a certain number of sales.

Have you been invited to submit as editorial? It is not an option for most. Do you have IP release for each boat?
