One of the main features sets that attracted me to the Captivate Prime Platform was the Embeddable Fluidic Player listed under the features set on the Captivate Prime website.It would allow our existing platform continue to manage our memberships through the api as well as our own course catalog (bypassing the captivate prime offering). Allowing us to better maintain our 'look and feel'.Unfortunately I cannot find any support documents that guide me through the process of actually doing this. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this feature?
Hi, It is very important to know if there is a way to set up Cap Prime so users have to pay to access courses. If this is not possible, I will have to use a different LMS. Thanks for your help. Tricia

Is it possible to host a Robohelp Responsive HTLM5 help system within Captive Prime? We currently host it on our own server, which is not working well for various reasons. We are also looking for an LMS and would like to avoid having to purchase both Robohelp Server 10 and a separate LMS.
Hi, I am publishing from CP 2017 and have set the TOC to "only visit viewed slides" which in every other instance (published in another LMS) means that you can not jump to slides that you haven´t viewed yet. But it seems that in Prime this is not the case.Also you can jump to any part in the module using the playbar that is switched off by default in CP 2017. We don´t want that!By the way, why are the CC so small in CP prime?Is it all my fault?Thanks for any tips!
Hello,I have around 60 learners, all from different European countries, I have heard from some learners that their default language is set to German, even though they are based in the UK. As the admin the prime cloud is registered to, I am based in Germany. Whenever I change language settings it only applies to me. Is there a way I can set the default language to English so that is what everybody sees as default?
In the July 2016 update I see the provision for using either Adobe ID or Captivate Prime ID as login method. When you select Captivate Prime ID as login method and set up an external, selfregistrant user group and use the provided link, it brings the user to an Adobe ID login. How do I avoid forcing my learners to setup Adobe IDs? It seems really self-serving of Adobe to require their customers to force feed their learners into the Adobe marketing machine. Precisely what is the difference between Adobe ID and Captivate Prime ID and how do you implement a NON-Adobe ID login procedure? Adobe Connect Pro doesn't have this issue, so you'd think it is possible?
Is it me, or is there virtually no moderation or Adobe staff attention to this forum? I am asking my question from three weeks ago again:In the newest update to Prime, there is provision for a Captivate ID login method. When you select it, and create an external user group, the users still get the same Adobe ID sign up form. What IS the Captivate Prime ID and how does it differ from Adobe ID?I really want to provide Prime accounts to learners for self-registration, but I don't want to force them to get Adobe IDs. Please explain how this can be accomplished - SSO is not an option, because the learners are all external. Thank you
I am using Captivate 2017, and I have been having some trouble with static fluid boxes. I am currently designing a training program with three fluid boxes (top-title, middle-content, bottom-button to go to next slide). Pretty simple. I placed one text caption in the middle fluid box. I made the middle fluid box a “static” fluid box, because it also contains some shapes that I would like to partially cover the text.An issue comes up when I try to preview the project. The text and shapes are placed exactly where I want them to be in edit mode, but when I preview the slide the text inside the text caption increases in size while the shapes stay where they are. This is a problem because I need the shapes to align in the exact right position over the text.Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I would appreciate any advice you have.Thank you!
What is the best way to correct a simple typo in a self-paced module?I have a quiz built in Captivate 9 with a typo. I've made the correction and updated the module in my content library. When I preview the content in the course that contains the module, the update doesn't appear.Is there a time delay that I don't know about or am I doing something wrong?Since I updated the most basic component of the content, I expected every course or certification that referred to the quiz would also be updated immediately.Please advise.
Perhaps this is not the best place to post this but hopefully one of two things will happen. Either the right folks can see it and provide a fix or the right folks can see it and tell me what I am doing wrong.I have been testing a module with Prime using the app on an iPad and discovered a couple things. 1. Rollover image functionality is as expected on a desktop in a browser but on the iPad it does not function correctly.On the iPad, when you do the rollover, the image comes up but when you release your finger it advances to the next slide. 2. I have also found that button functionality in the app is a bit sluggish in that you sometimes need to press buttons multiple times before they perform the desired function.
Hello, I have seen this thread before, but no answers. I have published a course in Captivate Prime, but navigation isn't possible, nor is the custom Table of Contents I created in Adobe Captivate 9 visible. Instead, there is a clickable Table of Contents in Prime that shows all slides that I had hidden in my custom table of contents. How do I keep my table of contents from Captivate, or how do i edit the Prime Table of Contents?I'll note that in all preview versions of captivate, the navigation bar and table of contents appear just fine.Thank you!

I have an interesting puzzle.I have created some recorded narration for some slides and have them auto play upon entering the slide.They always play but will stop randomly.One time it may play all the way through, other times it may stop within the first sentence, and sometimes it may stop elsewhere in the middle. The narrations are only about 30 seconds on average but there does not seem to be any rhyme or reason to when they stop. As such, I am struggling to narrow down the issue.I am using Captivate 9.02.437 and Captivate Prime.I have not noticed the issue using a browser preview or by launching my published file - only via Prime and the Prime App on iPad.Has anyone else seen this and know of a fix/workaround?
I am just starting to use captivate prime for educating our internal employees.One of the users failed one of the courses of the certification course, and I would like to re enroll them without needing to delete them as a user. I don't want to give the users infinite attempts at passing, but I would like the ability to re enroll them at my discretion. Is there a way to do this?Thanks,Chris
I guess this is someone in between captivate (authoring tool) und prime (lms). So let's try it also here ...A learning-application build with captivate. It's use has to be limited regardless if used on different browsers on different computers or in an LMS or not. Export in HTML5 or SCORM.Scenario 1: Users enter their name (or are set via LMS) when starting the learn-application. Every user gets a personal certificate with his name at the end. The application has to work only with a given number of named users. For example 20 persons with 20 different names can use it; if person 21 tries, it has to break up.Scenario 2: Just count any access of the application. Means if a unique user start it 5 times (and get only 1 certificate) this counts as 5, if another one gets his certificate at first time this counts 1. When a given number of access is reached the application shows a message and breaks up (or even not start at all).I look forward to ideas to this.
Hi,We have a couple of users in the business who had their usernames for the Captivate Prime eLearning portal changed by mistake. Since this has happened, when they login with the new username all their history about courses they have completed, any reports they would have saved etc seems to be lost.Is there a way to recover that information please?Kind regards,Amit
When I add a new External Group, I need to assign that group to a learning program. The new group is not on the list when I choose to 'Enroll' on the Learning Program. When the 1st user registers, they have NO content to start the program. Waiting for the 1st user to register, then go back into administration to assign the group is backwards and not time efficient??? Is there another way I can set this up so I can assign courses to 'new' external groups. It does not need to be a Learning Program if there is another way to do it.Thanks
There was a API in V1 of Captive prime which was giving use modules within a course. In V2 Courses are called learning objects but we do not see any API to get the modules inside of that course. Please let us know if we are missing something.https://captivateprime.adobe.com/docs/primeapi/v2/Also, the notes against a course is also not being returned by the V2 version API.
Under Reporting and Learner Transcripts I begin typing a name and in some instances the same User's name is listed twice. I selected the top name first and opened the transcript. The I selected the bottom name. As you can see two different transcripts were produced. Why wouldn't these be combined by the software?
Is there anyway to lock in landscape mode as the only viewing option and not allow vertical when a learner is on their phone using the Captivate Prime app and viewing a course? Would appreciate the help if anyone has any insight on this issue. Thanks!
There once was a time I could call Prime Support or Chat with Prime Support. No Longer???When I click on 'Help' and Contact, it brings me to the Adobe Support, Prime is a 'Less Common Option' and after selecting it, the only choice I get is 'Adobe Captivate Prime Help' webpage. At the bottom, If I click on 'Contact Us' (it says REAL HELP FROM REAL PEOPLE under that), it sends me right back to the Adobe Support page to then the loop starts all over again.Anyone have a link to 'Chat' or, worst case, a phone number for Captivate Prime Support?
Is there anyway to change, manually the certification status of a learner. I made a mistake in setting up my learning plan and assigned the course instead of the certification. A learner took the course, but I need to get his completion information into Certification. I am a new user of Prime and have not yet had the integration portion activate by Adobe. I am wondering if using integration I can export out of the course and import into the certification
I have been having issues with Chrome and the SWF content. so I decided I would publish in html5 only using Captivate 2017. I have discovered a huge weakness in the Captivate Prime fluidic player. My clients content is regulatory based. I am required to have the published module set up to prevent learners from fast forwarding or skipping slides. Due to the poor design of the fluidic player the play bar is always available and can be used to skip slides or fast forward to the end of the presentation. Is anyone else in the same boat? I know using the skin editor I can control the navigation, but that is all flash driven. I want to eliminate flash from all my training modules and as it stands now, that is impossible.
