Hello,I am slowly using my patience - i have now reset my computer 3 times including a complete fresh install of Windows 10 Pro and the Adobe apps (Premiere and Media Encoder)Alas I cannot get rid of the problem - whenever I try to import a 4K video to encode, AME crashes.Finally after the last fresh install (AME 13.0.2 (Build 39)) I see an error message from Visual C++ Runtime - Error R6025Now after the first crash since install, AME just crashes without error messages.Anyone has an idea how to get rid of this? It is driving me insane and costing me time and money.Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to control colour space in media encoder?In AE you can set profiles in 'Output Module Settings' in the 'Colour Management Tab'Is there a similar option in AME? So far as I can read online it defaults to Rec. 709 and thats it.

Hello everyone!I have got some serious question about diferences between After Effects Render queue settings and AME. In After Effects i can set the sequence prefix easily in the settings there but i cannot transfer my output module preset from After Effects to AME, it seems that there isnt those options...Is it right? Is it alright?I use CC 2019 all is up to date

So I was given .MOV files to edit, which are the ancient file type codecs that Premiere wont let me use. So Ive been trying to open them in Media Encoder and export into H.264, It WORKS, however each time I export it within the first 20 seconds the video skips and then the audio de syncs during playback.Its not my media player, Its definitely happening within Media Encoder during the export and no matter what I try, .MOV to H,264 conversion is glitching out and the files  are un usable.Do we know why this is happening or how I can get around it?File type ..MOV. 1080p 23.976 fps.

Hello, I render videos in two machines: one uses up to 90% of CPU resources, the other only up to 20%. The latter renders same files way slower, even though it has more RAM 32 (versus 16 in the other pc) and both have similar intel quad core processors. What could be the reason behind this?

I've been trying to find a clear answer about rendering out of After Effects and Premiere without pixelation. What seems to be happening is that certain elements in my comps/sequences are rendered at a much lower resolution than other elements. So I get a clear graphic on top of a highly pixelated one. I'm rendering everything at maximum render quality using CUDA. I tried purging the cache.What I imagine is happening is that because my original comp/sequence is 4k and my render resolution is 720p, at some point AE or Premiere or Media Encoder says "Hey, we're scaling everything down, so let's render all the elements at half the resolution no matter what their scale is." So the 4k footage looks ok while the 720p graphics look like a pile of potatoes.What can I do to have everything rendered at its full resolution?

I have a file that is 45:00 long and GPU intensive. I am scaling down 2 inputs - 1 is 4k and 1 is 1080p60 - and keyframing the 4k footage to fill in a couple of 'PIP' alpha windows on a plain black overlay graphic. Media Encoder on the Bootcamp side of my mac thinks it can get the encode done in an hour but when I queue up the same file on the mac side it estimates that it will take just over 2 hours. What could be causing the app on the mac os side to be struggling?Specs:Processor - 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7Memory - 12 GB 2400 MHz DDR4GPU - Radeon Pro Vega 16 4080 MB, Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MBAME version (on both mac os and bootcamp): 13.0.2

Hey there!I've recently updated my Media Encoder to version 13.0.2 and now I can't import FLV files into it. I made the mistake of saving my recordings as FLV files and would like to convert them to MP4s. All the available sources online say that I can use Media Encoder for this conversion, however, when I import the files a "File Import Failure" box pops up with an error message that reads "The source compression type is not supported". I would really like to edit these files in premiere pro and would first like to compress and convert them in media encoder. Is there any way around this? Please let me know.Cheers!

Hello Everyone,I'm starting to create a youtube channel about drum and bass univers. Mood - YouTube I did some mix and created 30 videos to animate my mix with some effects. After 2 months, i still cant find the way to export my video fastly. Here is the mac that i use : For a video of 30mn, the time left is 40 hours .. I tried H264 Youtube HD codec and Prores 422 I cant use that mac all the time, so i have to find a solution soon ..I really hope that someone can help me.Thank you,Thomas

HiI just exported a 2-hour video using Adobe media encoder, there was no error while the renderingbut when I play the video the last 20 mins are not working and take me back to the begging of the videoRegards!

There seem to be various answers regarding this, like, it will if you send it a sequence from Premiere etc.  I am sending ME a composition from After Effects.  About 1 minute long, 5376x2688.  I'm encoding this to a ProRes 422 HQ at 25fps.  I can see my CPU at 100% but my Quadro P2000 is doing nothing.  Is this normal? Under what circumstances is the GPU used? I'm using CC 2019 version 13.0.2.Thanks!

Hi all,I noticed that all my renders from AE having issue with black bar on the top of the video (1 px) when rendering to JPEG 2000 MXF OP1a @ 1920x1080.If I change the frame rate from 30 to 29.97 the bar changes colour to Red... Is that a bug?edit:Added more infoThanks,Peter

Hello, i would like to know if there is a way to cut out the middle man when compiling in after effects and sending to media encoder.All i want to do is add audio to render with a jpeg sequence.

I am using PP CC 2018 and AME 2018. It will render MP4's fine but I get errors on all MOV renders.Footage is R3D files, AE comps and music bed. Trying to render a ProRes 422HQ 1920x1080 MOV. I've sent in a bug report, but wanted to post here as well to see if anyone else has had this issue...Used an Ingest preset to batch export some video files. The preset contains an output file destination along with a file renaming command, yet two of the files were exported to the default destination for Media Encoder and were not renamed. I run a small post production shop and we've been having consistent issues with Media Encoder 2018 causing crashes. We've been troubleshooting for weeks and have tried every other possible solution. Details below:OS: macOS 10.13.6 and 10.14.3Hardware: Mac Pro 2013 (various configurations), iMac ProSoftware: Adobe Media Encoder 2018, After Effects 2018, Premiere 2018, fully updatedMedia location: SMB Server over Gigabit LANSymptoms: Adobe Apps, Finder, web browsers completely lock up and become unresponsive. Computer must be hard-rebooted.Steps to reproduce: Open Media Encoder while using other applications. Exports are not necessary but seem to accelerate the process.Frequency: Varies. It will be fine for a full day, but once it starts happening it happens roughly every hour while Media Encoder is open.Tried so far:Ruled out the network entirely. Changed switches, changed wiring, changed computers, forced SMB2Clean installed both macOS 10.13.6 and 10.14.3.Clean installed Adobe CC apps.

Im not sure if its only me but Media Encoder is been rather slow when it comes to Gpu acelerated rendering. Usually when i check its my cpu doing most of the work while gpu is idleing and all. Im not sure if this is a proof but ill do more test. But what im sure rendering takes longer these days and i usually have my projects gpu acelerated

Hi, today i saw a couple of tutorials for Media Encoder Windows, that changed the settings of media encoder with a new file to force the cpu to work harder. Is there anything like this on mac?

Description I want to create a Media Encoder preset that includes a generic or custom Rec.709 LUT for proxy creation when ingesting to PP, but this applies to other situations, too.Here's what I want to do: I want to use the proxy-creation feature in PP, and burn in a log-to-rec709 LUT to the proxies. There are standard proxy-creation presets in PP (none of whi, as well as the ability to use AME's Add Preset button to create new custom presents. One or the features in the Add Presets dialog is a dropdown to apply a "Lumetri LUT/look" Several LUTs are listed, which appear to be a subset of what is available in Lumetri in PP. All of the available LUTs have a "SL" at the beginning. Missing LUTs include the Arri Alexa and Amira technical (input) LUTs designed to convert Arri log footage to Rec709.Problems:1. We're on Mac platform running CC 2019. We are delivering commercial spots for distribution. The digital distribution network demands files with H.264 video compression and AAC audio at a very specific bitrate of 192Kbps. When we transcode our ProRes masters using AME we're never able to achieve that precise AAC bitrate- the file always comes out at something like 189.3Kbps. We also tried a 320Kbps export and it came out around 317Kbps. Those bitrates are reported by analyzing using ffmpeg, and also Media Inspector on MacOS. I'm not sure what inspection software the network is using but they bounce the files, telling us that they don't match their specs. If I use Squeeze to compress the same files they come out perfect. Ignoring the issue of whether or not the network genuinely can't use anything other than exactly 128Kbps, is there a reason AME cannot get these bitrates perfect? Is there another tool I should be using for analysis? We've tried VBR and CBR to no avail.
