Questions

I'm creating a group with 3 elements: a background panel, a vertical bar and text element.I group all 3 together and set the vertical bar to have responsive resize - manual. I fix the width and anchor the top, left and bottom points. When I resize the background panel, the sidebar panel resize as well. Now I activate the auto padding and leave the automatic values. As I type in the text and break the line, the background panel will grow its height because the text.  Althought, shouldn't the sidebar follow background panel's height too?

When exporting iOS designs. If I select "designed at" options as 3x, then 3x image size has to be 1125x2436 ( 375x3, 812x3) right?but the 3x image I got, was 375 x 812px. How to I get x3 pixels?  

Hi everyone, I have been trying to create this menu for many hours. But I can't do it rightI need your helpI actually want to have a menu that pops up when the mouse hovers over the bag icon but not when the mouse is over the "connect" button which is near the bag button.I tried to make the menu and the bag button in the same component; the result is that when I try to reduce the size of the component in its default statistic, it moves and doesn't change its size; even when I only select things in the component (I mean when I don't select directly the component but things in it)I hope you understood my explanations. 

I set up a topbar navigation menu with default states (white text links) and hover states (white changes to blue text links PLUS a dropdown menu of subnav links appears on hover).   In the Master component, I added tap interactions to the subnav links in the dropdown menu that appears upon hover.  The sub nav tap links in the dropdown menus work properly when I hover and tap on the MASTER within the prototype. However, when I copy and paste the master onto another page, the hover still works but the linked taps in the dropdown menu that worked on the master component no longer work on the instance. Even when I try to rewire the tap links in the dropdown menu manually within the instance, the links still won't work.   Bottom line, prototype tap links don't appear to work when they sit within the hover state of instances.  Is this a known issue or is there a work around please?  I've spent a lot of hours on this already and can't get it to work.

Here is the issue I am facing with the component. - I created a tab component which has the repeat grid in it.- After I created multiple tab states, I edited the content inside the repeat grid for those respective tab states.- When I go back to the default state and edit the content inside the repeat grid, all other component states edits are gone or reset to what is there in the default states repeat grid. This is so frustrating as I lost all the painstaking work done in the rest of the states of the tab component. This happens only for the default states' edit, If I do the same kind of edit in the repeat grid under the rest of the Tab component's states, those edits does not reset or override the rest of the component states' repeat grid contents.  Kindly help. Hello there,it seems I have a huge problem. I want to manage the spacing between several text frames in XD. I don't want to use the distance functions, but rather enter the distances in numbers, as with sketch. I just don't find this possibility anywhere. Am I missing something? Can someone help me? Hi everyone.  So i've been using Adobe XD for a while now and it is always the same questionning. I know i still have a lot to figure out and i can't wait to improve how i use the software. So here the situation:. when i'm done with my project (on every devices) and i want my dev to start building it,  what is the best way to export the wireframes with the grid i have created?Do i need to install a plug-in. Do i need to start working on a Boothstrap grid downloaded on the web? I need help here to be more efficient with my dev. What are my options.

Hello Community, since I am used to the alignment in Adobe Illustrator, I often used the function to align sth. to a key object, so that this object remains its place and the others use it as a kind of reference point by clicking on that obect after selecting everything that needs to be aligned. So in Adobe XD it seems very random to me. When I select two objects and press center they are often centered on the whole artboard instead of what is higher in the layer stack being centered on the lower one. So they move both and I have to revert the step and try to work by manually editing the pixel positions. So far I did not found any rule or how to tell XD when I need artboard centering and when one object should center on an other. And if so, how to tell it, which object should use which one as key object? Thank you very much for your help and have an amazing day! 

I'm currently prototyping an app, and I have previously used Hover States when prototyping websites so when a button is hovered over it changes colour/becomes duller before clicking on it. After a lot of experimenting and Googling I can't figure out a way to add this same feature for a touch screen device, seeing how you can't really hover over them. Basically what I am trying to achieve is for a button to change colour right as you tap it, before releasing it, and then after you release it will take you to another page, have an overlay feature etc. Thanks in advanced!

I updated XD to the latest version and after that one of my files crashes every time I move an artboard or try to create a new one. It only seems to happen with one file so far, the others seem fine. I updated my operating system, but that did not fix the issue.

After updating to 33.1.12 all of my locally installed (non-system) fonts are missing. I'm also using FontBase as my font manager but that's never been a problem. All of the fonts appear in Photoshop and Illustrator so this is a XD problem.  Windows 10Os Build 19041.508

For example, I create a button component.  When I change the component's state, the text(ADD) cannot reserve. I have to change the text once again.

I have font Karbon installed locally and it's missing inside the XD. Although I'm working with it for a long time and that didn't happen before.It's visible inside the font book:And it's missing inside XD:And I can use it in Photoshop: I did try to reinstall it and the problem is still here.

I'm so tired of this issue, i've reinstalled adobe 2 times and still the problem is not solved, it will either crash mid editing and give me this message attached below, or the second i open the file before it even load, if anyone knows a solution please advice me.thank you

Hey all,For some reason when I attempt to copy a simple piece of vector art from Illustrator to XD, it doesn't work. What's weird is that I've been working within the same file for a week and have been copying and pasting vector art all week. Any advice? Here's what I'm running on:Windows 10Intel i7 7700K16 gigs DDR4GTX 1080Both Illustrator and XD are up to date, I have already restarted the programs and PC, anitvirus is disabled. I can copy and past text from browsers (as a test) to XD...Super weird problem..Cheers,Steve

Hello,Do you have a problem with AAU and Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac OS Catalina ?Adobe XD is uptodate on my Macbook says Adobe Application Update. But it seems to be wrong. I've got 2 computers with diffrent versions both manage by Creative Cloud.  Mac OS 10.15.6 Adobe XD 29.0.32.13Windows 10 (1903) Adobe XD 32.2.22.2The screenshot from Mac OS shows that AAU see the app as uptodate, but its not.Can you help please ?Phil

Hello everyone.I noticed that is impossible to donwload XD files from Document Files using any browser. This issue don't happen with other type of files, like AI, ZIP etc.Find below screenshots for this issue.   If Adobe is trying to convince us to use the XD's co-edit feature, is doing it wrong.Without this option we must sync all of our files on a computer, to be able to use any XD file, which is a big mistake.Regards!

Hi everyone,I have troubles with starting the XD app lately. When I klick the app on my desktop it opens for a second and crashes immeitaly. I already uninstalled the app a few times, deleted temporary folders and files but it keeps coming back. It also happens on the computer from my coworkers. Does anyone have the same problem or has any suggestions? Thank you so much! Laura

When copying any shapes from illustrator or any svg to XD the gradient annotations are just going far off the shape. Even this issue happens when I create any shape with pen tool in XD! And this issue started happening after updating to new version of XD.  I'm attaching the screenshot. Please help me out, I'm in the middle of a project and this is way too much frustrating.
