Hi Everyone,   I'm fairly new to Adobe XD and I looked online for tutorials which I found useful.  Although, I downloaded the "State-Kit" to use some animations.  As an example I want to have a Spinner in the middle of the Artboard that will beginning spinning as soon that the button is tapped on.     It seems that I cannot figure out how to launch this automation.   Can someone help me on this?   Thanks Mike   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hi, I'm having issues downloading the free trial of XD on my iMac Desktop. Is it possible to download XD on a mac OS 10.8 mountain lion?Everytime I try it says that my system is out of date.I would really appreciate any help, thanks!  

Hi, I'm trying to create a user testing prototype, but my XD sharing kept failing for no reason.I have tested it with smaller files, it also showed the same error message. I also tried switching to another network, updating the XD, reverting XD to older versions, restarting it, logging out my account and re-logged in. They all failed. I also tried changing my proxy setting, adding the whitelist domain name to my network setting, still nothing worked for me. I'm using a personal(student) account, and all my cloud files seem working just fine. (ps. I also tried publishing online with Indesign, it also failed and shows error code 18). My OS version: Mac Catalina 10.15.5  

My team and I have experienced very slow performance from XD while designing for the past few weeks. It often takes several seconds (anywhere from 5-30 seconds) after clicking on an element for it to actually become selected, and then it takes even longer to move an object. Zooming in and out is also very slow. We tried unnesting components in the design system file we link to, but the performance didn't change. This is an issue with all of the files we've worked in, and we're on Windows. 

I get the error "You don't have access to manage apps." in creative cloud desktop application when I try to install xd. ive also tried installing it from the install link on the Adobe website . both dont work. I work at a school of 1000+ students, 200+ of which want to use this software but cant on the govt supplied PC's. surely Adobe can make a Serialized license of this software so this can be deployed along side the other Adobe software we use.  

Hi!I tried to open my prototype for live preview on my iPhone 8 et it seems that the app doesn't recognise that my mobile is connected. I have iTunes installed (12.10.4.2) and Adobe Xd on mobile (Version 27) and Adobe Xd on Windows (27.1.12.4) and my OS version is 18362.657   When I connect my iPhone, Windows detect that there is a device that has been connected and when I open iTunes, the software detect my iPhone. I can open a Cloud Document in the app but nothing in the live preview.   {Renamed By MOD}   Thank you!

How can I change the language for text-field in Adobe XD. For example, in Adobe Illustrator I can set the language in the text field options and then the font looks different. Please see the attachments for more. I use the same font for example in the XD an Illustrator.Thanks in advance.Ai:XD:

Hi there, I was watching a Howard Pinsky design a case study on stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2d4we1y2LY&t=792s) and noticed @17276147:00 and @17186320:05 he was able to create a rectangle within a group without having to double click onto the group. When it comes to adding new elements to a group, i would always have to cut, copy, open the desired group layer and paste the new element into the group. Is there a keyboard shortcut to this ? 

these backward quotation marks keep appearing when I press enter in any text box, how do I make them go away?

Is there a way to reference one artboard in another? I wasn't havening much luck googling this, basically I want to have an artboard x inside artboard y so that when I make changes to x it updates in y. I realize I could probably define the entirety of artboard x as an asset and add that to y. Does that work? Or is there a more efficient way? Thanks!

I have the typeface 'Inter' I installed the family and when I open my options in XD it has regular about 8 times which is super strange. Nothing changes no matter what I select, I have tried re installing each variable seperatly, updating my XD, restarting my computer and nothing has changed. I tried using the typeface in other adobe programs such as Illustrator and it seems to be working perfectly fine so I am assuming the problem is only occuring in XD.  Not sure what to try from here as I feel I have run out of options. P.S Inter is a google font. Regards, Joel xx

I connected my iPhone to my Macbook with a cable and synced my prototype with it. So far all changes have been transferred live to the app. Currently this does not work anymore. I have to reboot for every change. This is very cumbersome. Is there a place where I can reactivate the live transmission?I just had to update the app, after that the live broadcast did not work anymore.

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding Adobe XD which is how other users ( not Abobe users) open my prototype link on their phone? There's no way to do that, right? Also, I think Adobe XD developers need to work hard on the UX part of the Adobe XD mobile version, like creating a field form to insert our prototype link or something, it was so frustrating to use the XD mobile version tbh. Period.

I wonder if I can modify assets such as colors, character styles, components on the CC library for XD. I am unable to find any option such as in Photoshop, Illustrator to modify colors and other assets. If I cannot modify, then it is not fully utilizable and ends up with just a backup/storage on the cloud. Like any changes, one team member made won't automatically affect the other team members. In that case, it is dangerous to be dependent on the CC Lib for XD. Better to use local Assets Lib. Does anyone have any clue about it?

Let's say you add a Plugin to a shape(s) and then you want to add the same plugin (last used)  to another shape WITHOUT having to hunt for it again.  Is there an XD Hotkey for 'Last used' Plugin?  In Figma it's: Alt+Cmd+P (brings up last used plugin). 

If I starts preview on an old XD document and I click on a new version the preview changes to the new version. Either its a bug or a limitation.

Hi,I have been facing the text/elements' vertical alignment issue for the last 2 years. The vertical alignments of the text/elements are perfectly fine at my end but when I share the file to another person, things are not in place at his end. Atleast 1-3 pts of vertical alignment distortion happens even if I share by creative cloud or by email. I can't say it happens to each and every element/text but it happens to most of it. Another issue I have faced with text area. If text area is defined for a paragraph, sometimes the text area shrinked vertically and crops some of the lines. This happens mostly if I transafer the file, there is a chance other person can't see properly at his end. These are some frustrating pain points I have been facing for long. Has anybody faced similar issues? Please guide.

Is is possible to export a fully functional web site prototype from XD to Dreamweaver.

Hey all!I just got a new work computer and re-downloaded everything fromt the Adobe Creative Cloud. I had been using the Import/Inverse shortcuts quite a bit, but it seems to be the only shortcut not working with my re-downloaded software. The shortcut itself (Shift+Cmd+I) shows up when I select Import, Select Inverse, etc. from the top menu in XD and photoshop, but when I try to use the shortcut, nothing happens. Again, all other shortcuts seem to work normally, even the Inverse / (Cmd+I). Any ideas on how to fix it?

Dear Adobe XD community,Hope you are doing well? I have question, I made three radio button group as  master component in one page (parent 1) and each radion button  has a link to a page . in other page (parent two) i used the same component and i want to link those three radio buttons to other pages different than first one, all links got collapsed for first page, is it doable or no, please advice?

Is there a reason the Adobe XD, Fresco & Creative Cloud icons are different? They look different and not consistent with other Adobe icon sets. I'm pretty sure most if not all designers will find this annoying, can you please fix it? Maybe I'm just a bit OCD, but it's almost like a cruel joke to me. I understand that those are UWP apps, but they don't need to look out of place. 

Hey guys, i had doawnloaded XD yesterday and it keeps crashing suddenly and there is an error message shows up that says close document and i don't know what to do with this i can't work on it, though it's updated!!
