Questions

As a windows user, for nearly 3 decades saving a file hasn't changed, and hasn't needed to change. Saving a file for the first time, or doing "save as" opens a window with a folder tree viewer, and you select the folder you are saving to, give the file a name, and that file saves in the folder you've selected. This is about the simplest, most intuitive non-mysterious way to make sure a file you've created is being saved where you intend for it to be saved to.I do not understand what possesed Adobe app developers to solve this issue which was not broken. The new "save as" popup dialogue in XD looks uneditable and unclickable. Your only option is to either save or cancel. It's not intuitive that you can click the folder path to select a folder, plus it buries this feature under another user layer. When you're in the folder you intuit that you name your file and save it there, but no, you only use this layer to select a folder, or create a new folder. Then you back out and now how do you

Hi All,My version of XD is : 28.1.12.3, with Windows 10I can’t generate any of my prototype links, no matter how I restart it or reinstall it.....the progress bar always move up to 99%  ,and get an "error 2410"..... I've searched community, the issue seems to be resolved now, but it doesn't:https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-xd/share-error-while-sharing-a-public-and-private-links-in-xd/m-p/10978816?page=1 Does anyone knows how to resolve it? Thanks.

This is a weird issue I have been facing with XD on Windows since Sep last year. Copy-paste simply stops working using both keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+c & ctrl+v) and the mouse right click. Attempting to copy makes XD unresponsive. It takes about 5-10 mins for XD to become responsive again. But paste doesnt work even after that. This happens when tring to copy anything - text, objects, artboards etc. I can still copy-paste assets for Illustrator to XD (although this has its own weird copy issue).I tried many options listed in the XD community as well as the usual clean re-install. The main issue seems to be related to the windows UWP app framework.[the solution] - the process rdpclip.exe in windows needs to be restarted if copy-paste stops working. I can't find my existing links that I created before. Usually there was a list of links that I created before but I can't find them now. I haven't changed the name of the file after saving. I have been saving my file in the same folder with the same name. 

I was trying to install the dribbble plugin for XD and it doesn't appear in the plugin search, but it does online, so I thought it was some sort of glitch. I went to the dribbble site and clicked on their link, but it also says plugin not available... What gives? Am I the only person this has happened to?  Hi there, please see video attached. I needed to add a few different character styles to the Asset Panel but some of the different types were not allowed to be added to the panel. Very random. Why is that? I also had already added all of those styles to the panel and some of the Mobile Headers desappeared. Very strange. Please advice. TIA ❤️ cc. Harshika

Hi there, it seems like there is a limitation to how many colors I can add to the asset panel? And how many Character Styles we can add as well? Hey, guys today I got so excited when I received XD to flutter plugin email by adobe but one question popped up to my mind when I get an output from it. What would happen when I run my Xd to flutter codes on very big or very small screens the codes will align themselves or I should make them dynamic??

I tried to use AdobeXD for the first time and the first thing that comes up is  Welcome to Adobe XD Follow the 10 short steps below to learn what you can do in Adobe XD.   Things went bad on Step 0.     Instructions said to download and unzip a folder from www.adobe.com/go/xd_tutorial_images.  "You'll need these for this tutorial."  Problem:  The URL does not exist and neither do the files!  I looked all over the Adobe XD website and there is not tutorial for the 10 short steps.  Does anyone have a clue as to where these files are?   {Renamed By MOD}

This is what exactly I am telling aboutI can't select the proper colour from the colour selection panel and it is showing some weird gradient kind of thingI talked to the customer support and they told me that it is a bug and they will be reaching me soon by no contact from there side as well.Please help

how to open .xd file on .ai with editible ?

In my team we have both Windows and Mac users. In some of the latest updates, we had issues with coediting since all computers must be running the same version of Xd. In my timezone (GMT -3), the Windows version has been available in the morning, while the Mac version only comes by the end of the working day, causing some troubles. I know building for different platforms take some time and are often done at different times, but the release itself could be together so problems like this can be avoided.

Hello, I have a design that uses repeating grids. It seems that today when viewing the prototype on the web - the repeating grid does not crop correctly. It works fine in Adobe XD’s local prototype but not on the web version:  Cropped lines in XD on mac: Protoype on web with lines expanding the cropped area: I am using the latest XD version (29.0.32.12) Not sure if this is a bug? I was working fine previously. Any help would be much appreciated!  Thanks,Michael

I would like to know is possible to export xd files to psd?Should have this option native...I liked so much working on XD but some details I still prefer working on photoshop like more options diagram texts and other things... At agency that I work the files psd still is the best to workflow of all for while... tks

pictures cannot be dragged into xd, win10 1809. i can only use control+shift+i to insert pictures,It feels bad.When I have selected a text layer and copied svg from the iconfont website and pasted it to xd, it always crashes.The latest version of xd。i7 + 16G ram+ ssd +gtx1060

Hi. I have imported a .ai file into xd to send out as an advert on an email. Even though resizing is selected for all layers - when attaching it to an email it does adjust to the screen size, just cuts off the email - what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Hello everyone,Since the update a few days ago, the prototyping isn't working well. The prototyping doesn't work on any text from a hover effect (in my case, for a drop down menu). It is as if there were no prototyping at all. It works perfectly for normal text (without effect), for example "Home" in my menu. I did check all the prototyping and the links between the pages exist, but it just doesn't work.Does anyone have a similar issue ? Thanks for your help!

Hi everyone, So, I just finished creating my design on XD for a school project. My instructor asked us to export our XD designs to PDF so we could incorporate them into InDesign process books without losing the vector quality of text and graphics. Unfortunately, when I exported my file to PDF, all my images, shapes, and any text that wasn't basic black got rasterized. I sent my instructor my XD file and he tried exporting to PDF and did not have the same issue. The only difference is that he's using a Mac and I'm on a Windows based system. XD doesn't seem to present any options for quality when exporting to PDF, so I'm not sure what's going on here. I've attached two screenshots - one zoomed in to show the vector images on XD, and the other zoomed in to show how they got rasterized on PDF (but not the black text, oddly?) Anyone have any ideas?Thanks,Des

When I click to edit a text its appearance change. When I exit edit mode the text shows correctly.Ive seen it change in different ways (font weight for example) but right now it is the line height that changes. Anyone experience the same? 

Hi guys i'm really new to adobe and all so i'll explain what i have in mind so please help me if you can. My plan was to design on adobe and then export it to andriod studio to code the functions and stuff , however i'm really lost regarding the size of andriod mobile given by adobe Xd , there's only single size , so do i have to manually create artboard sizing for each and every single phone that i wanna target , or responsive resize will automatically resize it according to the phone that's opening the app or ....?
