OK so I see "save current preview" is in the Composition drop down list ... but greyed out?? Please explain!! Is this coming back? Are you teasing us Adobe?????

My After Effects v22.2 is always crashing after the second or third time I save a particular project, no matter really what the changes are. At first it showed me a dialog box with either of these (not exactly verbatim, copied from my Google searches):After Effects error: internal verification failure, bad numeric conversion: positive overflowerror getting size of handle (and an endless number in brackets) Now it simply freezes around 64% saving progress for a bit, leaves behind these weird filesand soon crashes without any dialog. So far I have tried: installing an older version of AE, resetting the preferences, wiping the most recently installed plugin, different saving locations, cleared & changed cache location, deleted the comp I was making changes in most recently, imported the project into an empty project. Its not the wobble problem. I'll place a shape layer in one position,using a key frame to mark it, and continue moving my shape layer and marking the movements with key frames. When I go back to review my animation, the key frames at the beginning will have shifted in position from where I originally had them. When I edit these key frames back to where they belong, other key frame values are affected for some reason. I end up in a constant cycle of re-editing key frames. I read somewhere that time remapping may cause this problem but i haven't been able to find that forum again. Hi all, I'm exporting a clip with ProRess 422 via MediaEncoder on all the default setting with the maximum depth and maximum quality boxes checked but the colours are still being distorted as you can see in the screenshots below. Please help! In after effects I just have an adjustment layer over everything with a lumetri colour effect, the values are also in a screenshot below.

Hello,Since today's after effects update, when I'm in my project in advanced 3D, it crashes my computer.All I have to do is open the project and after 10-15 minutes, my PC crashes. I didn't do any animation. Freezing cases can happen at any time, for example when I make a retangle, or when I leave it for a long time then I try to play the timeline, sometimes it can freeze.I've tried resetting preferences, but it doesn't work.I have also tried to remove third party plug-ins. I have tried various versions, 23.6. 23.0. 23.1.all the results are the same, the freeze error is always there, it's just a difference in time. but the worst is in version 23.6. what do I have to do?I have to force my computer to shut down, if this continues, my computer will be damaged.please provide a solution.thx.

Hey Guys, my AE preview functions normally for a few times. then when I preview using spacebar it loses the audio, and for the preview after that it doesnt preview at all. Whenever I press spacebar now it switches to the hand tool for the duration that I'm holding it and lights up the frame redner time as green. when I double press it goes back one frame. I didnt double assign anything, using 0 on numberpad didnt work. Reinstalled, cleared all settings, caches etc. all didnt work. Tried changing thw audio hardware output settings as it worked for some people, but changing it either crashes after effects or doesnt work.The bug in this video is the same one I have. Hey Community, I'm having a composition with 2 Levels. One is a 3D shape with depth and on top is a .PNG for it's texture. When I animate this 3D composition, it gives me a lot of artefacts. Am I doing here something wrong or is this an issue from Adobe?  Thank you very much. 🙂

Could someone help me with this expression. I am trying to get a position to bounce up and down with easing. The other requirement is that the oscillation should occur with the original position in the middle (so that when I adjust the sliders to zero, the position returns to where it was).This is all part of an expression based animation. However - I'm having this issue where the easing occurs in the middle. So it slows down as it approaches the middle from it's peak. See video. When I added a clip to my composition in After Effects, something like "Romanatic Suite Preview" is written on my layer, what does this mean and does this affect my workflow or end result quality in any way?  Attatched a screenshot below!

Ok so, i just added a new file into the project and my preview just dissapeared, what do i mean by that? That im on the main composition, but the preview doesnt show!But when i do to another Compositions the preview works just fine?Yeah my head hurts and this is a school project for today so i just want a but of help.

Asked this in the Premier pro area, but perhaps its better asked here. After getting a GREAT looking chroma key in After effects via Dynamic Link, when the clip is previewed back in Premiere Pro the video looks like white and noisy, like the background is ghosting through or somethingWhy is the Chroma key in Premiere Pro looking so bad but perfect in After Effects?How do i fix this?

Hello,Just wondering if anyone knows a way to change the  default keyboard shortcut for removing unwanted areas. (red- circle ) Holding ALT when using the rotobrush?It becomes very annoying when you have to advance frames using the PAGE UP and then having to go all the way over to the ALT to subtract an area.Try doing that that for every other frame and you'll feel my pain.The only shortcut I found to edit was just to open the rotobrush but not to change any brush controls.Thanks in advance,Lou
