Hey, habe gerade Adobe After effects das erste mal auf diesen PC installiert, aber leider Stürzt es beim Starten ab.Mein setup:Windows 11 (64-Bit | 10.0, Build 22631)i9-9900K32 GB RAMNvidia RTX 30701 TB Sata SSD2 TB Nvme M.2 SSD2 1080P BildschirmeWas ich bis jetzt Probiert habe:- Neustart- Als Admin gestartet- Abgesicherter Modus- Ohne Plugins- Neu-Installation der Grafikkarte (auf aktuelleste Treiber Software)

Let it be know that I know the bare minimum of AE, in only started to explore it when I learned that it can Import my repetitive work, which is replacing text. In my PP i make new video's on a daily basis and I need to update about 160 text fields. Now thank this this great video tutorial:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoXAmsjJoc4&t=283s I know how to populate the text fields thought the CSV. I added a data-row slider as instructed and linked that to the text field. Then I saved as .mogrt and imported in PP. Everything works perfectly as inteded!  - as long as I stick to the original .csv data that was used in the AE file. When imported in PP it has a "drag-and-drop-insert-csv-field" to change the dataset, but whatever I do, It doesnt update the data. It stays linked to the original CSV data. (in the video linked about you'll see people in the comments with the exact same issue) Also tried some files somewhere from a Adobe repository that does ex

Hey guys, im assuming I accidently clicked something and now my timeline has disappeared (in after effects). I was almost done with my video which has a deadline, and suddenly Im encountering disappearance of timeline. Instead of the timeline, I'm getting something like a graph. Pls help if anyone knows how to fix this.

whenever i press enter to start a new line in after effects, instead of starting a new line underneath the previous line, it starts the new line in the centre of the previous line, overlapping the text. i can only write on one line. ive treid all the shortcuts people have suggested and i have reset my character panel. i cant find any solution online

After effects does not recognise GPU <15796> <AEBlitSurface> <5> initialized with no device.<15796> <ae.blitpipe> <2> no compatible GPU device found, falling back to CPU  

Same for me.Usually, my system (Windows 10 / 64 bits) becomes unstable when 4 or 5 Adobe apps (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, Acrobat, Flash Builder) are running at the same time with big projects loaded + multiple web browser windows running.With After Effects CC 2019, it becomes unstable right away, even when nothing much is running on the PC, even before loading any project, or working on a very small project (full vector based, small, simple animations).I need to start AE 4 or 5 times before I get a chance to basically open a project and work on it normally.Most of the time, AE doesn't start, or starts and freezes, or the project opens but the comp doesn't show up.And sometimes, an "out of memory" warning pops out, and then I pray that I'll be able to save my work...I tried to adjust memory settings, but it didn't help.I have actually reached a point where I cannot seem to start and use the app anymore... (I've already uninstalled and re-installed it as recently as yesterday.)

Hello, I'm running Adobe After Effects 24.1.0 on a 2019 Mac Pro (Sonoma 14.3.1). I've run into a bug with my wireless Magic Mouse that is clearly tied to macOS Sonoma -- when I click on the mouse in both AfterEffects and the Finder and then release the click, the pointer "jumps" about a quarter of an inch on the screen. So if I'm in AfterEffects and I click to drag an element when I'm organizing files and then release-click, the element can sometimes "jump" into another composition unintentionally. Or if I'm setting a new anchor point with the mouse, the anchor point "jumps" into the wrong position when I release-click. (The same thing occurs in Photoshop). I know this bug is tied to macOS Sonom, but I haven't been able to find a solution in any of the troubleshooting forums I use for Apple bugs. I am making this post with the hopes that another user has encountered this bug and might have a solution. Note: When I use my Wacom tablet and pen, this bug does not exist

How do I resolve this RAM & CPU usage issue?I'm working on a simple VFX project, adding blood to an actor's face.I need to key out the color blue.My RAM & CPU usage shoots through the roof before I add or do anything beyond importing the video file.The video is a 6K braw file that's about 20.6 GBThese are my machine specs. None of the shortcuts works to snap/aling the clips on after effects (video/image or audio)I need to zoom in to see if they are snap"/aligned and if i don't do this it could lead to an empty frame /black frame, this is a lot if time.I/we need something to trust the snap without zooming something like the magnet" on premiere, something trustful" to drag & snap.Please check the video I uploaded there is the error of your program, is also on my youtube channel. juan joseError Snap After Effects 

So I have this expression in one of my projects: style = comp("Templates").layer("First Line Second Line").text.sourceText.style And I noticed that it seems to capture everything except the character widths. Is that a bug or is there some additional step required to bring that property over?

Hi! I'm wondering if anyone can help me to loop this background where it doesn't show it starting & ending. I'm new to after effects & I'm trying to make motion graphic backgrounds for my church. With it showing where it starts and ends, it won't look that great. I've looked up many tutorials but I feel like none of them are really all that helpful. So im watching a tutorial on how to use 3d cameras and i cant Curve the path of my 3d camera to make it curved like this As you can see i cant see the keyframes to drag them and put them in a curved way The guy from the video im watching (a 3 years old video) has the keyframes in the line while mines are in a box and i cant manipulate them.(the photo with red circles is from the tutorial) He has the keyframes there but mines are in a box and cant be manipulatedIM USING THE LATEST VERSION

Hi!  My dear Macbook Pro goes through a lot of pain (the fans feel like it's going to explode, painfully slow) anytime i open After Effects. Not to mention whenever I have to use the type tool. It's truly a horrible experience. Anyone has figure out a way to fix this? Is anyone that wants to use this app "forced" to get a Mac Studio? I wonder. Thank you! 

All 3D .GLB and .OBJ are importing as INVISIBLE and cannot see them, even when adding a light source. I created them in AI and Dimension so know they work perfectly in other programs. All controls for the 3D layer are there but it is transparent. Can anyone maybe think of a reason why this wouldnt be working? Thanks!  

If you're running into a problem where After Effects displays a message on the Composition panel that says Display Acceleration Disabled, follow the suggestions given in this post to fix the problem.   macOS:• Make sure your MacBook is connected to the power source• Go to Preferences > Display and toggle Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels• Go to Preferences > Video Preview and toggle Enable Mercury Transmit   Windows:• Update the on-board and dedicated graphics drivers of the computer. If this happens after updating the graphics driver, reinstall the previous version of the driver NOTE: Nvidia driver version 442.92 seems to cause this problem on many systems. Hi, I opened a mogrt-file in after effects and got a converted after effects file after that that I worked from. That file has been acting weird and faulty when it comes to playback/flickering and I do not know why and how to fix it. Can someone hep? Many thanks.

Looking to select what I am searching for in a comp. I have multiple object layers, each with several groups each containing strokes, of which i want to change color. So I search and see the all, but is there a way to select them all at that color level so I can change them in one shot, instead of selecting them all with ctrl-select

Hey,I want to see the track mattes of the layer I've selected but i can't.. 

I have to create an animated infographic showing the numerical results of a parliamentary election.I'm at a loss as to the most efficient way to do this in After Effects CC. Using the graph below as my model, I need to make a semi-circle with 491 colored dots showing the alloted party seats. Is there a more practical way to do this than having to manually create these 491 dots? I'm thinking that I should be using the Elipse tool to create the semi-circle? But is there some kind of plugin that would allow me to batch create these dots or divide the semi circle into dots? Thank you bery much in advance for any help with this.
