I really don't like this effect when im using the transform tool and i want to get rid of it, is there an option to turn this off? 

I have taken the first few steps in this tutoiral (fish animation) but i somehow lost the tutorial window. How do i get it back up  ?

I have many interactive flash animations (.swf) that I used to have embedded in Powerpoint that I use for teaching (I did not create them, they are from the textbook publisher). Flash is no longer supported, of course, so the animations won't play - I'm using a flash emulator and linking outside of Powerpoint for now, but I'd rather have the animations embedded. I've been able to recreate some of the animations within Powerpoint itself, but there are others that are more complex. I want to recreate them in Adobe Animate and then embed that into Powerpoint, is that possible? I don't want to go through the trouble of learning Animate if I still can't embed the animations (I did learn Adobe Flash 20 years ago). The key here is that the animations are interactive, not just plain videos, and I want them to play inside Powerpoint, I don't want to have to link to another application.

Hi there, I've got a general question concerning the above warning/error that I sometimes receive. "Embedding OLE objects is unsupported. Use File->Import to import media."Quite often I'll run some code without issues, but at other times (with the exact piece of code, with the same assets, same environment) it'll pop up and results in random issues, such as a specific image not being added to a symbol I'm creating. It tends to creep up when doing quiet intense work. Could anyone please shed light on it's meaning - again, apologies for being so vague, but that seems to be it's nature unless I'm told otherwise! ThanksAnt

I'm having a huge problem where I will draw a line with the brush tool, then (not necessarily even close to the target zone) another spot will randomly fill itself out.Usually all I would do is just CTRL-Z but flash doesn't have any memory of making this giant mistake that can cost hours of work, so it can't be undone unless I go back and erase it all and restart the part that became filled. Nothing strange happened before the glitch and flash just carries on, as I said, without any recollection of anything.I don't know if I can explain it better than that. there's a bunch of brush strokes, then it's filled with color that I can't undo.Please help me.

Hi. I need your help for my school project.For my research project, I am using this task called the peg-turning task, in which users are instructed to click on the highlighted peg, which causes the peg to rotate. Thankfully, the study I refer to provided the fla file that contains the task, but when I test this on Adobe Animate, it just loops. Although the file contains several scenes, the only one I need desperately is the "cog" scene. I really appreciate it if you could help me! I have also attached the file here. 

Hey everyone. This seems to be a monumentally PIA that has been asked a bunch over the years, but I can't seem to get a straight answer. How do I add a clickTag to a single button in Adobe Animate? This button/layer is a graphic from an imported Adobe Illustrator stage.I've seen the option to go in and edit the HTML manually after the fact but that seems to wrap the entire creative in a clickTag. I just want the button to accurately have a clickTag on it.

At the moment I'm quite frustrated with some "features" of animate. First I had to learn, that motionguided layers wont get exported at all - converting to keyframes fixed the problem, but in my eyes isn't a very production-friendly solution. Then I realized, that some layers (not hidden, guided or anything else) wont get exported as well. In my case, I have a layer called "fader" which is simply a graphic-symbol of a white box fading from an alpha of 0  to 100. In the final export this layer isn't taken into account at all. Renaming (because I read somewhere that animate has "problems" with some keywords used as layer-names) didn't do anything good as well.  Nonetheless I'd be very thankful for any suggestions, that could possibly help me out.   

While working in Animate CC this morning it has taken it upon itself to close randomly while I am working.  The last two times it happened while I was using sliders working with gradients.  Does anyone have a similar experience.

Hi, I started using Adobe Animate about 5 days ago. Yesterday, I finished my animation and was able to export the video, but since it had no audio, I tried exporting it again. After that, Animate stopped responding and now I can't open the file or even open Animate itself – it just freezes and shows "Not responding."I’ve already tried freeing up storage, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, updating everything, but nothing works. I'm on a tight deadline and need to send this project today. Can anyone help me recover my file or get Animate to work again?Thanks in advance!

Hello, I am very new to Adobe Animate. I was just wondering how I could change the bounding box size on my imported PNG's. I've went through various other posts in this community and still dont fully understand what im doing. First I just want to say I know I can resize the images in my drawing program, but Im trying to animate a character, and resizing and piecing it all back together wouldnt be ideal. Is there any way to just change the size of the bounding box?  Heres the head bounding box size in Ibis paint, its the exact size of the layer: Heres the head bounding box size in Adobe Animate, its the size of the canvas I exported it from: What makes this worse is that every single layer has the exact same bounding box size, making it basically a nightmare if I wanted to animate it. Hello everyone! I'm currently new to using JSFL files. I was going to use them for my new animation, however, when I tried using it, it didn't do anything! I'm not sure if the file is outdated or what's happening but I need help with this problem.

Basically I have 2 helpers in movie, placed in Global scripts and they work ok unless I am trying to export  Video/Media and then I'm getting this:And these scripts exepctidly have no effect on the resulting video.Any possible workaround except copy/paste functions all over the timeline?

Heyy!! is there anyone that knows how to recover an animate file, when the auto-recovery was also damaged? Its happened out of the blue, and all my work got lost.

I need help, becuase everytime I replay my animation (without test movie) it lags all the time, and there is no way to fix it. Is there something wrong with my grpahics driver or storage?

I am using the latest version of Animate on Windows 11. I am having trouble controlling the camera when I have it settle at the end of a zoom. At the next keyframe, it justs about 2 pixels off of where I have it positioned. This is after I have the previous keyframe move at a Cubic Ease-In-And-Out, which only makes the jump more evident. I tried copying and pasting the previous keyframe in the current keyframe, and then the later keyframe, and neither one solves the issue.

Hey before I start just gotta say I'm a HUGE beginner with Adobe animate and have basically just only recently started using it so pls bare with me I'm trying to make my first animatic and am currently just doing simple sketches with the fluid brush tool and I like to do sketches with low opacity However whenever I draw it just all ends up sharing the same exact grey color rather than actually building up into the solid black colorDoes anyone know how to fix this?If you need any more info feel free to ask

So my animations lip-sync and movement at a point is glitching a lot, then it loops and isn't synced with the audio, here's a video if you need it. 

All - looking for some direction on the use of Oracle Java by Adobe in products such as Animate. The version is licenseable. With Oracle's recent change to an enterprise employee metric, how is this being addressed by Adobe or is there alternate Java products to use? A single installation of Adobe Animate (or another Creative Suite product that uses Java) could cost a significant amount of money for any organization. I have not been able to find any clear documentation on the web on Adobe's stance.  Any help or guidance would be extremely appreciated. 

I am trying to loop a movie clip symbol. I want the loop to start at a later point in the timeline so that the double-pulse plays once, then only one pulse plays for the rest of the duration. However, when I tried to code this in HTML5, the single pulse plays as a wave. The code is called in the internal timeline of the pulses on the last frame of the loop, which is a blank keyframe.  Here is the code I am using for the pulses:var _this = this; this.play(); if (frameLabel == 'SinglePulse') this.gotoAndPlay('SinglePulse') 

Hello everbody. I saw that other people have this problem too but so far there wasnt a solution. There are fonts which work perfectly fine with all the other adobe apps but not in Animate and its driving me crazy. For some reason Animate cant get the kerning right: In Indesign:In Animate:I am using a Mac with Sonoma 14.1.2 and Adobe Animate version 24.0. Why, is that and what can I do about it? Playing around with the kerning settings doesnt change anything.
