I have an 8 minute long animation.Within the Animate CC, timeline and audio and everything is perfectly synced.IF I export a video, the video is BLANK, but I can hear the audio.IF I use the media encoder and publish as the H.264, the audio gets out of sync as the animation goes by, so after 3-4 minutes you can notice it a lot.How do I fix this? I don't get why the MOV file is black with no visuals but that's less of the problem, I wanna know how to fix the media encoder out of sync issue.This is a bit urgent, any advice is appreciated. I've been searching for an answer for a few hours now but cant find a solution.

Hey, quick question. So I have a pretty big screen for a laptop (3840x2160). Will lowering the resolution help with adobe animate performance? Like processor and graphics card wise? I've tried a few times and it seems to help a bit but not sure if thats just my immagination. Also searched for answers online, but I get conflicting answers so I was hoping an adobe employee might have a bit more insight? 

Hi. I'm making html5 banners in Animate.To make a clickTag I usually embed a code in the html-file.Is there a way to make a clicktag like back in the Flash-days with a invisble button and ActionScript?So I don't have to write any html-code but can keep everything in Animate.

Hello, when I try and use the eye dropper on a color, and it auto swaps to the paint bucket it makes it completely transparent, and it doest the same thing with the brush, and when I turn the transparency back up the color is black and not the color i am trying to get. How do I either fix this or reset the eyedropper tool so it stops?

My first question is, is there any way to move multiple keyframes at once? Like I have each of the frames of my animation set as separate keyframes but they're in the wrong position on my screen, how can I select all those frames and move them together?My second question is, how do I add things to the beginning of my animation without messing up all the timing? I haven't added the intro to my animation yet and have realised that when I try to move my animation along the timeline everything gets out of sync and it's just really tedious and annoying.My final question is, is there any way to import a video with a transparent background without having to convert it to a gif? Because when you import a gif it imports the individual frames and then we have the same problem as the first question.

Hi. I'm very new to Adobe Animate. I try to use the pencil tool but it's not in my tool bar.I noticed that by pressing three dots in the tool bar it opens a selection of tools I can drag and drop to my tool bar. There's the pencil tool there but no matter what I do I can't drag and drop it or any other tools to my tool bar. This is very annoying. What should I do?

HelloI'm looking for a way to display a semi-transparent animated symbol (picture1) without seeing the different overlapped layers contained in this animated symbol (picture 2). Kind of "ghost effect" on the whole symbol.Properties of the occurence of the symbol are "Alpha 50%", and its layer is on Multiply.Any solution?Thanks

Hey guys!  O.k., here's the scoop...I'm using Animate more as an illustration tool (prefer the workflow to Illustrator) for creating game assets.  I've got named movieclips/graphics on stage.  I need a way to export each as a png or the whole scene frame or a movieclip as a PSD WITH the names attached, not just a generic 'export_xxxx.png'.  I've got 35 layers here that need to be imported into PSD then exported again for use in Spine.  If I have to rename the layers every time I export it's gonna be a MAJOR time suck.  Any ideas?  Anyone know of a command/script to do this?  Thanks!

Recently, out of nowhere the program has been giving me this message...When I save as another name it corrups the file.I've re-installed the program multiple times. It's completely debilitating and I've had to ask for extra time from a client!I have no idea why Adobe don't offer live support for Animate. When I press file > export > export as video/media, the videos that are created are sort of desaturated? The image is an example. The top-right corner is the mp4, the top-left corner is the mov, and the part at the bottom is adobe animate. I used H.264 with a preset of High Quality 1080p HD for my mp4 and Quicktime with a preset of Apple ProRes 422 HQ for my mov. Is it a problem with the presets, and is there a way to fix this? I'm on a Mac, and I hope that isn't why it's breaking. 

I rendered a .fla into a video via Encoder then imported it into Power Point...the video works fine, but it loops perpetually....how do I get it to stop after one play? I can find no setting anywhere....the Publish Settings facility has a checkbox for looping, but that isn't relevant to exporting video/media in Animate 2022Thanks in advance...Joe

I am new to Animate (2024) scripting, but have created CEP Panels/extendscript for AE and PPro. This forum has been very useful (especially  @JoãoCésar17023019 )  as there is a lot of outdated documentation that can be confusing. Basically, I just want a UI for our pipeline. First part is reading a folder on our server and populating a dropdown with the names of all the job folders.  I can read the job names (folder names) into an array and then use a loop to create the xml with all the menulist menuitems. I will have other dropdowns that need to be populated based on other dropdowns.How would I update a dropdown with new items? Hey everyone, New to Animate and new to React and stuck on this problem. I've asked my TAs in class and scoured the internet for a solution and can't find it. I have an animation from Animate that works in a page that is Bootstrap and vanilla JS. I've not migrated the entire page over the React with Bootstrap and I can not get the animation to work. I've played whack-a-mole on errors left and right and started over at least a dozen times, but in the end I keep getting stuck on this error... "cjs.MovieClip is not a constructor."I've got a local version of createjs linked in my index.html as has been suggested elsewhere but that doesn't help. I'm sure there's something simple I'm missing but I've exhausted everything else I know to try. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been trying to download adobe animate and after effects on windows, but every time i try it installs the mac os installer and continues to tell me i dont have the mac os system requirements. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated as im still paying for after effects and animate while not being able to use them.

Hello, Everyone. I am asking this question on behalf of my 12-year-old son, who just started working with Adobe Animate. I know virtually NOTHING about Adobe applications, so please excuse my ignorance! To make a long story short, this is what's happening: when he erases something, it goes away while the mouse is clicked/dragged, but when you unclick the mouse, it comes right back.  His animation is one "merged layer." That may or may not be relevant. As I said, I don't know anything about these apps! Can anyone guess what the problem might be? If you need visuals see what is happening, I can post. I want to add sound to a 3-1/2 minute animation I have almost completed. I want to be able to project the animation (I don't know if that changes anything).2 questions:1)Is it best to add the sound in Animate? What I research seems to suggest that, but 6 years ago when I made an animation in Flash, I exported it before adding sound. Can't remember much about it. 2)My animation file has 33 folders, each with several layers. Is it best to make a separate folder for sound or add sound layers to each pertinent visual folder? I plan to add a lot of separate sound effects. I imagine organization would be easier if I add each sound layer to the pertinent folder.thank you

So I am doing an animation using Motion Tweens, as I want to create a Motion Preset to use on another movieclip symbol. Problem is my Motion Tween isn't working properly.  When I play my movieclip, it is only producing movement on the keyframes, but not moving at all within the frame span. How do I fix this please?
