Whenever I try to edit text, the font always changes to Times New Roman. It's really annoying, as I want to use the font that's already there, but it just changes to Times New Roman.

Since animate not supporting embedded video in canvas , i want to add mp4 video in html5 canvas . Please help me to add.

Hi, I have tried on a few different devices to export a video from this file, but it just freezes at 20% and doesn't progress. I wait and wait and eventually just have to Force Quit Animate. I'm relatively new to Animate but I've exported hundreds of other files over the last few weeks and I've never had this issue before. Hi, i'm Faizal Arshad Putra Adika, i like develop a game. Can anyone to explain how to code click and slide to scrolling in AS/AS3? But WITHOUT ANE, ANY PLUGINS, AND EXTENSIONS! i just use an extensions (ane) for admob, android/ios in-app-purchases, and google games services/apple game center.

I have been working on my animation and recently discovered that when I change my background color, all of my colors change depending on the background shade. The main issue is when I have a door that opens up and dissapears above the wall.. When the door opens,  it is seen through the wall even though it is supposed to be hidden under that layer. It is not fully seen as it becomes slightly transparent depending on the amount of layers above it. Is there anything that I can do which can fix my problem?

I'm having an issue when converting an Animate file with 3D content to an .mp4 file, Media Encoder inserts a frame at the beginning of the video that displays the 3D content as 2D in the upper left corner of the stage.  

My tools bar is missing several items like pencil and oval. The drop and drag shows is greyed out or missing altogether.  I tried preferences. doesnt work.  Help, thanks!    

Using HTML5 canvas.I have a movie clip (mcTurn) on my timeline that plays in a loop and I have a button (button_1) that I want to use to control the movie clip with a play/stop function.So far I got the movie clip to stop by using the following script:this.button_1.addEventListener("click", stopAnim.bind(this));function stopAnim(){  this.mcTurn.stop();}But how do I add a play function to this code? I want the movie to resume playing again when clicked.Back in the day I used the on(press) and on(release) functions for this, so I'm a little behind... Hello. I am brand new to Adobe Animate, though I've been using other Adobe software for 15+ years. I'm trying to create a basic motion comic where it opens a page, an action happens on the screen, then you click to go to the next page. Rinse and repeat for each page of the comic. I got the basic scene navigation set up by following this tutorial. However, in that video, they play the movie clips on each page by hitting an individual play button that is separate from the "Next Page" button. How could I modify this setup so that the little black ball would move on its own rather than requiring the click on the play button? I'm hoping to make it so the only required interactivity would be clicking the "Next Page" button. I'm guessing the "this.stop()" command they are using is what is preventing it from playing, but I can't wrap my head around how I would change it to do what I want. Any advice? Thanks!

Hello! I've been working on building a character rig that has a shirt with colored sides that are separate mask pieces inside of the symbol and clipped onto the shirt base, that could be animated to turn around the torso to create create a fake 3d effect. Though. I was wondering if there was a way to replicate an effect that the side masks affect the outline of the shirt, so the outline follows the masks? Like the image attached below for example (or if there's an easier way of going by this). Any help is greatly appreciated ◡̈

I'm trying to set Hide Panels to the Tab key, but this can't be done in the Keyboard Shortcuts Menu.I located my custom Shortcut File in C:\Users\[Username]\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2018\Shortcuts > [Filename].xmlUnfortunately, for any key that is not a letter, Adobe uses some proprietary keycode values instead of the standard Windows ones. For example, F4 is 10 where it would normally be 115. Is there a lost somewhere of Abode's keycode calues for Windows?

My document (and recover file of it) were recently corrupted when I was rendering another project and animating in Adobe Animate 2024 at the same time. Yes, I know it was a bad idea to put my laptop to so much work at one time. A message of "Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged." is being displayed (attached screenshot). I tried doing all the advised things, but they don't work:I opened it on older, 2023 versionI renamed it to .rar file and tried fixing archives, nothing.I tried importing an .xml file, but it says one line of the code is broken (attached screenshot).Other files of this project are fine, but this scene is not, and I will have to re-do it if I don't recover it. I could also just try to get the assets back themselves, and just re-do the animation. Is there any other way to recover at least some parts of it? I tried attaching the damaged file itself here, but I can't do that. If there is a way to do it, then maybe someone

I'm trying to use masks to shade my animation which is inside of a symbol.I created a copy of the symbol with darker colors and put it as a mask but some parts are not masked properly or completely broken.

I need to know. When I tried going to one scene like stage2, a vcam stays invisible. But when I return to scene1 the vcam shows up a gray screen. I know it because I returned to scene1, it showed it for a second then everything became a gray screen. Whats the cause of this?

Hello everyone,I've been making a small animation and now that I have the general motion down, want to make a copy from it and move it somewhere else on the page. I can't find the edit multiple frames button anywhere, is it just gone in the 2021 version or am I overlooking it? I also tried importing it to the 2020 version, but I can't change my vector object at all or even select the object I'm working with. Any help will be very appreciated.

Usually, when importing a video to be animated on, I go to File / Import / Import Video, i import my flv file, choose Embed FLV in SWF, choose embedded video and everything checked, but this thing when i folow that process and finish, i t imports te video, except it has a completely black screen. Why is this happening?
