Hello! i am making a puzzle game for school that is due today. I need to make a three level puzzle game. Each level has 12 objects, 6 objects being the puzzles themselfs and the other 6 drop zones. The code that is below only works for one level. I changed the item names and put the code into the second frame. For a class, I have to make a 30-second clip that can be stopped or resumed throughout but when I go to test the clip it opens up a tab on my browser(Which I believe it should) and it shows a blank screen. This hasn't happened with the last project I needed to test so what might the issue be?

WhenI export my animate project in an .swf file the elements in the video are animated, but when I export in an .mp4 format the file, the elements are static and not animated.. How can I solve this problem?

AnimateCC is my weapon of choice, but for web and native animations it falls short on exportingI extensively tried the WebGL, Createjs, SnapSVG and recently PIXI export plugins, but After Effects with the bodymoving plugin running in Lottie  seems a much better option.When animateCC doesn't provide export plugins it is probably easier to learn After Effects, but I'd rather have the combo of drawing and animating in AnimateCC.Could you please elaborate on this subject. And is support for exporting to Lottie  on the roadmap ?Kind regards

Hi, I exported 2 videos from Animate so that they can convert to mp4s in Media Encoder.  I did specify a location before exporting, but couldn't find them anywhere.  What else can I do?

Probably a very novice question but there's surprisingly no other information about this anywhere else. I currently have a 6s animation where a symbol is supposed to come onto the stage and stay in 1 spot until the video ends. How exactly do you do this? I found a single tutorial on how to do this on YouTube but it doesn't seem to work for me.

it's not possible to reparent a symbol created with drawing tools and added from the library or created on-stage (draw whatever > convert to symbol) unless it's removed (and that's not doable via removeChild) first from the stage.  ie,   this.box.addChild(this.circle);  /* won't work with on-stage instances of this.box and this.circle without prior removal of this.circle*/      

Do you have a solution for this: When I stop in the middle of a long audio clip in Adobe Animate and resume, the audio is gone and I have to go to the beginning of the audio clip again

Hello, I installed adobe animate 2019 recently on my windows 11 PC and everytime i open it it just force closes. Is it because windows 11 doesn't support animate 2019? If so is there a workaround? 

I've been having an issue with the Asset Warp Tool in Animate (24.0.2).  Once I have used the Asset Warp Tool to animate a layer, I will often save and close the project to return to it the next day.  When I reopen the project, the animation I've done with the Asset Warp Tool is gone.  The AWT pins are still there, but the animation data is gone. Any solves or workarounds, I'm missing? I don't remember ever having this issue with earlier versions of Animate.  I mean, they all still crash pretty regularly when using the AWT, but whaddayagonnado? 

Hello! I'm trying to get the preview of my animation to display in real-time. However, after searching for information on the topic, it seems that achieving a smooth preview is not possible. HI! I'm just starting with Adobe Animate, I followed a tutorial on how to make a basic fire. When I try to mask the main layer that contains the fire, the content of the main layer mostly disappears.

Hi. I believe Animate is a vector based drawing/animation program. But when I try to export or import a file into Illustrator, it doesn't see it as a vector program. In fact, if I then try to vectorize the Animate jpeg, it image traces terribly. How can I export an Animate file and then import it into Illustrator as a recognizable vector file. It seems like this should be easy as both are Adobe products. But I can only find tutorials that explain how to import Illustrator vector files into Animate, not vice versa. Is driving me crazy as I am not a fan of Illustrator, but my teacher is requiring that I use Illustrator for a particular project. Thanks very much for saving me from going nuts.

So, I use Adobe Animate 2023. I don't ever want to use 2024 since that version crashes constantly.When it comes to symbols, I've come across a weird issue that only seems to happen in larger size files that I have. Sometimes, the file will take a while to save, which I assumed would be typical for the file size. However, randomly at times whenever I make edits within a symbol, save it, close the file, and then reopen it, those edits don't save. And when I say random, I mean it is completely random. Sometimes an added keyframe didn't save properly, sometimes changed objects in the symbol don't save, etc.Anyone facing any similar issues? I can't post any files due to the type of issue this is.

I am very new to animate and would love some help.I have added motion tweens to symbols in isolation from the main stage, they have their own timeline that does not show in the scene's main time line. The animation appears to work when I go into Control, Test Movie however the animation it will not export to a video (just get an image). I am trying to animate on the latest version of Animate CC on what I believe to be the latest version of MacOS Monterey (version 12.3.1) and whenever a somewhat big movement occurs or a tween is being used, the software as a whole is lagging and playing slowly. In the beginning, it was just playing slowly on the time line (about 13 frames when it should be 24) but now the entire software is lagging and performing slower than before. I've tried reinstalling it, checking to see if my computer is right for the software, updating it and doing many other things that others on the community have told me to do if I could but nothings working. This has been going on for about a month now and I want to know how to fix it.

I have some experience in AS3 few years ago when I was using adobe flash CS6 which contain no built-in camera function.Now I'm back again with animate CC, and I got this error while trying to make a little game which have some camera tween in the beginningThe error goes like this;ReferenceError: Error #1069: Property ___layerDepthEnabled___ not found on MyAs3Class and there is no default value.       at privatePkg::___Camera___/cameraControl()This error happened when I try to create an AS3 class file that is associate to my main animate file.And the AS3 file is basically blank and clear.I have no idea what is happening, the game work just fine, but this keep pops out and I can't read other output text that I want to test, it's annoying.I am not very familiar with this error code system, I'm also not very good at coding, so maybe my question is stupid, but I try to search on the forum, and didn't find anything similar. I am new to Animate and I am trying to use the parenting feature.I parented a couple of layers just fine but after a couple, I tried to do the rest of my layers and everytime I parent them they just disappear.I did see another post about this. The row of the layer does turn dark like it's deleted after I parent it just like the other user experienced. I've tried turning the software off and on as well as my computer and checking for updates. I tried turning off auto keyframes. I noticed when I moved the frame to a different spot on the timeline, the parenting worked fine. I tried to experiment in any way trying to compare the completed parented layers with the layers that were disappearing and can't find anything.
