I'm new to adobe animate. I made a simple animation:• Layer 1: same background with logo stays on stage the whole time- no problem this works throughout• Layer 2: Text block #1 set alpha 0% fades to 100% (just the alpha changing so type will "fades in."), easing is turned off; works fine in animate; but when I test html5 it slides off the stage down and to the right. It isn't supposed to move on the stage, just stay in place and fade in; go blank and fade to the next text.• Layer 3:  Text block #2 set alpha 0% fades to 100% (just the alpha changing so type will "fades in."), easing is turned off; works fine in animate; but when I test html5 it slides off the stage down and to the right. Hey, so, I'm relativly new to animating and to Adobe Animate. I've been animating this longer sprite animation, and randomly during it, I insert a new keyframe and it's the color dark grey to show that it's empty. However, when I add in the image for the keyframe (in this instance, Piccolo is the image here) it stays dark grey when it should normally turn a lighter grey since there's an image in it. So, that's weird, but then it locks Piccolo in one spot and makes it impossible to move him, anytime I try it just snaps him back to the center position. What's up with this? Anyone know how to fix this?

Let me get this straight, my frame rate looks like grabage for my animations. Without audio, the frame rate keeps dropping to like 15.45 or 10.99. And the more objects I add, the more it drops. Is there something wrong with my microsoft graphics driver? Again...                                                                                  If theres no soultion to this i would have to deal with it for the rest of my life 😞

I have noticed that my Animate Canvas animation with dimensions of 1600 x 1600 pixels is no longer displayed on the latest iPhones. While evaluating the problem I got (only via iPhone14) the following error message in createjs.min.js:Canvas area exceeds the maximum limit (width * height > 16777216). At first this surprised me, because a 1600 x 1600 results in only 2,560,000 px, about one sixth. However, I found out that at screen density 2 the canvas actually measures 3200 x 3200 px, at density 3 even 4800 x 4800 px, which then exceeds this value of 16,777,216 px. I also read that this 16,777,216 px seems to be the limit for iOs Safari for quite some time (https://pqina.nl/blog/canvas-area-exceeds-the-maximum-limit/). In fact, this leads to the completely absurd effect that the more powerful and modern a device is (higher density), the smaller the Adobe Animate canvas has to be to still be displayed. In fact: if I halve the canvas in Adobe Animate to 800 x 8

I'm making changes to a symbol by adding layers and shading, but once I delete the original symbol from my library, that part of the new symbol disappears. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm new to this software. I've looked everywhere and can't find an answer for this.

I know there are bunch of these posts, and I also tried fixes, like firewall, run as admin, clear prefs... but nothing worked. So is there a way to fix this (reinstalling windows is out of the question, I've done that like 2 months ago, I'm not going with that again)Or does anybody  maybe know some alternative for Animate?

Hi all, I'm fairly new to ActionScripting but I have been working on my project mainly graphics and until now needed to start the coding but I have ran into a error that I can't figure out the solution to I have been looking at other posts about the same error but everything that was said won't work for me. I have the correct instance name set, the symbol is on the right frame, tried turning off Advanced Layers, and I still can't figure out a solution so if I can get help on this I'd greatly appreciate it thanks.

How can I save symbols in folders when making crowd scenes in 2D in animate CC?

Hello,We are currently creating interactive courses using animate. The courses have questions within it that need to be anwered using the animation. The issue we are having is that the course gets uploaded to a third party Learning Management System and the score it is not transferred from the animation to the LMS for the students to get credit. Is there a coding that needs to be employed on the back end for the answers to the questions to get transferred over to the LMS? Thanks!!

I created a VR 360 project and added a 3D model to it. For some reason, the 3D Translation and 3D Rotation tools are disabled, with a warning (exclamation point in triangle) icon overlaid on them. I write "for some reason" because Adobe routinely doesn't actually explain why things happen.  So, can anyone here give me a hint about why those tools would be disabled when working with a 3D model in a VR environment?

I'm trying to use the brush tool in animate and there is no icon displaying the size of the brush when I hover over the canvas. The only what to tell whether the brush is the correct size is to paint and under and adjust the size. This has to be a setting that I've turned off correct? Any idea where this might be? Thanks.

I'm unable to install Animate on my 2017 Macbook pro. I've tried repairing the CC app, restarting, but nothing. Super frustrating! I just tried installing other apps and they worked fine. Hey there! Things are as so: I have worked for hours on a project – and coming back a few days after, when I open the project, all the previously gained progress is not on the project ... despite clearly recalling "auto-recovery" automatically saving project progress during that work period. So these automatically saved versions should be somewhere, right? But inspite searching everywhere, I can't find the latest project version.  Could somebody help me? I'd be so grateful to recover all that hard work... Thanks in advance!

I was once doing animation when I misclicked and touched the timeline than the cursor dragged in to the bottom which then I got it back up but my stage wasnt still. Even though i tried my best to look at the stage I cant figure out how to make the stage still, locked and not by scrolling down becuase everytime I do that It messed up my animations. Someone pls help!

Hi everybody, I created an Animation inside Adobe Animate but its gets ruined after being exported to video format. When being played inside of Animate, the animation works perfectly, but when I click the "test movie" button, the footage seems to be messed up. After exporting, the footage is messed up just like it appears when tested. This is only happening with this one file I am doing. The green hand and gear piece seem to be the objects that are glitching after being tested/exported. I am trying to add mutilple symbols to the frame picker it only shows me the one I clicked and not the rest I made, can someone PLEASE HELP?The one with the numbers is my screen and the other one is the tutorial that im trying to follow.

Hello how are you? I wish they would release a version of Adobe Animate for Android. I always wanted to use it on Android and it's very difficult on a computer. Also, I don't install anything on my computer simply because it might catch a virus or Trojan.

I really want to pay once for Adobe Animate and not a subscription plan 😭😢😥🥺
